Per MMC's website, Bovis should be released on 8/15. Hopefully NA retailers will have in stock late Aug/early Sept.

I can understand your sentiments. It's been almost 7 months now, and still no product. Also, Talon is no longer the 1st release - it'll be Bovis. However, I want you iterate these ideas to you:
-We've been told previously that MMC felt compelled to offer their pre-orders earlier than they planned in order to compete with Unique Toys' offering.
-Not sure when these figures would have initially been released, but any time a company wants to make a conscious effort to improve their goods instead of releasing a sub-par item should be considered a good thing.
-MMC instituted the pre-order discount, making their products much more attractive.
So, I'm wondering if maybe you might also be tempted by either UT or TFC's version of the King? Regardless, you've already "invested" by having the discount for MMC's figures, don't lose that! I'm sure once you have Bovis in hand (or see some of the video reviews that will lead up to the release), you'll be glad you stayed on board.
mooncake623 wrote:You're probably right. And I am in no way faulting MMC. I think what they're doing is the right thing for the fans and protecting their own investments while giving the fans a superior product. I am not tempted by the least with what TFC or UT has to offer. It's just that the excitement has worn off. and if anything is tempting me it is Hasbro's reissue. hahahaha get that with all the crazy devy stuff. I think it looks quite good. =X and I can get them all now if i want.

Being the owner of the Welcome to 2010 Predaking by Takara and MOST of the CD upgrades for it (I didn't buy 14*, which is just a recolor of the giant sword since I already have the original release), I would recommend that you just invest the ~$200 towards one of the new figures sets being released by MMC, TFC, or UT.
As others around here have more eloquently put it, fans began to invest in CD because there were no other alternatives during that time. We just got an awesome re-release from Takara, and the CD offerings were meant to enhance the figure. Finally having all these installed, I'm afraid to even move my guy from one display to another. He's very top heavy now and the CD parts don't fit on very securely.
Also, I'm not sure how easy it would be to pick up all the upgrade pieces now - had to wait a few months to finally get the foot plates upgrade from TFSource as it was sold out everywhere else I looked.
Stay the course, save your cash for what looks to be a friggin behemoth of a figure.
Because none of us are quite as awesome as you, thanks for posting!daimchoc wrote:I wonder why nobody has posted these here yet?

There is also the tab/socket issue that was the reason he mentioned for one more test run. It is possible the ankle joints need some tightening and they are on the list of fixesSodan-1 wrote:Bovis and Fortis do seem a little back-heavy, but maybe Peaugh had just been on the sauce.

There was a big design issue with Talon, and if I remember correctly, he went through a complete re-design. That's one of the reasons for the delay.
In reading Blurrz's response in the not-Computron thread, it made me realize that MMC may be the first company to put out a combiner figure that doesn't have to have fixes released later, and my not ever have an add-on. (Though, does Felisaber count as an addon? ) It is readilly apparent that MMC is more concerned with putting out a quality product than rushing figures to market. I really like and respect that!

Here's a custom FOC Predaking made by very skilled customizes and fellow artists Nemesis Predaking, Chansformers, Cliffjumper69, Cyberminky and PurpleBot. I contributed modified gestalt parts. Photo by Nemesis Predaking.
This guy will go on sale on EBay to raise money for charity, stay tuned!
