Alright, so (to my most current) knowledge the infamous "Bayverse" will be ending with "Bumblebee".
I say 'ending' because while I know there's an apparent 'reboot' on the way that'll technically be a different "universe".
I ended up concocting ideas for my second and third favourite characters to appear in 'Bayverse', heck I even have enough ideas that I could write a pretty neat fanfic/send-off to this set of films but I don't have enough ideas and I have a super-bad habit of starting fics but never finishing them so that'll likely never happen (though who knows I may still give it a go one... distant day)
BUT
I still drew up ideas for these two lovely fellows as they are in my ideas/this half-baked story, so heeeere we go!
Name: Cyclonus
Faction: Decepticons
Alt mode: A space-faring jet.
Height: Between 57-61ft (minus horns)
Voice: Jörmungandr from God of War Except he only ever speaks Cybertronian, almost never speaks “Human”.
History:Cyclonus is the guy most people feared, be it his sheer size, intimidating appearance, or the deep rumble that constituted his voice he tended to make everyone nervous.
Thankfully he didn’t speak often and was content to stay in his quarters or in a small corner of the base he had ‘taken over’ and pray quietly.
That was the be all and end all really.
No one realised he never worshipped Primus until it was far, far too late…
On some faraway planet horn-like spires began jutting out from the ground.
It was the invisible signal for him, with a bellowing cry:
“PRAISE UNICRON!”
His former team had barely any time to flee before they became contemporary art as tribute to the great Unmaker.
Even the ones that did get away did not escape it. It’s hard to flee when the guy you’re fleeing from can fly in space and has absolutely no regard for safety at all.
Once his former crew were slaughtered and ‘offered up’ Cyclonus finally left his post to answer the call of his lord.
Crashing down on Earth all he saw was filth.
Disgusting filth entombing the glory of Unicron!.
He prayed to Unicron vowing to free him of this wretched atrocity.
Like a divine answer a voice lead him to a measly sand-covered area of the planet but, like a glorious arrow to the sky a great horn grew from the ground!.
He was not alone either.
Cyclonus was greeted by two beings he’d never seen before, initially he was about to kill them, but once more the divine word of his god spoke to him.
They were his new team, and he will work with them.
Quintessa and Galvatron.
It’s time for Unicron to rise.
Notes/Extra:- He makes sounds/roars that are like an awful giant metal elk (loud).
- He's a walking Biohazard.
No, really.
Cyclonus possesses what is essentially a 'crop' like birds, except he likes eating his victims and either storing body parts or their chewed up corpses in there.
He basically has rotting corpses stewing in their own juices stored in there. Gross.
This means he has a plethora of nasty bacteria and diseases festering away in there that he is somehow immune to. These diseases mean his bite is horribly infectious and likely to give you a bad case of cyber-gangrene.
If in a pinch or an especially bad mood he can and will force eject corpse-riddled ooze at an enemy. It's nasty. - Big enough to bite Optimus's head off and would likely try.
- Anything his lord and master Unicron says goes. If Unicron wants Cybertron gone then Cyclonus will rip that mothertrucker apart piece by piece to do it.
Design notes: - He is largely themed off a dinosaur in many aspects. The tail, the raptor claw, the way I made his crotch look like a pubis bone on a dino-skeleton.
- Seeing as he has the tusks, horns, skull-face and dino-like body I felt butterfly-like wings would make an amusing/interesting contrast.
Onto Scourge (and a Sweep)! He's not AS detailed as Cyclonus both in Bio and in artwork, I couldn't bring myself to try out so many details again, I mean I know it's nowhere near as detailed as the actual movies but still...
- He is very, very ancient.
- Scourge is a long-lost explorer from Cybertron who came to Earth eons ago, he became trapped inside Unicron himself at that time and never escaped.
- As such he has been acting as a 'personal caretaker' for the dark god, keeping his insides groomed and kept... This is where the Sweeps come in...
- The Sweeps are actually semi-living tumors that grow on Scourge's back, their growth deliberately encouraged by Unicron himself, they then drop off their 'host', sprout limbs and continue maintenance and protection of Unicron's insides. Yes, they're deliberately horrible.
- Scourge is... like Jetfire, a little... off his rocker so to say.
- Due to neglect, lack of use and sunshine Scourge's wings are useless and very frail. He merely keeps them wrapped around himself like a cape.
Bayverse isn't really my thing, but I enjoy seeing art of other characters in the style. It's quite difficult to pull off well, but you managed to merge it with your style nicely. Well done! (the drool is marvelous XD)
Will look forward to reading it when it's finished! Especially that fight scene
