I bought my first MP figure the other day, MP Starscream, I believe it is MP-03 and I'm happy with it I'm just wondering.. it feels somewhat flimsy (the plastic and figure itself feel a bit weak) and I was just wondering is this common?

Be very careful with the wing transformation hinges. They WILL break. To prevent this heat a thin blade in a flame and slide it between the two hinges to melt the plastic. Having a small gap here will ease the pressure. I'm not sure exactly where to do this - I wish I'd thought to do it on mine before it broke.

i have 14 seeker molds... some for display and some for kitbashing and repainting... i have transformed each of the several times and never had an issue with any of the wing hinges. Op if you are careful and dont force transform him you should be fine...

Plastic feels ok to me. I've got quite a few versions of this mold and have had 0 issues with wings or anything else for that matter. Take care while transforming him and you shouldn't have a problem.
What are these "wing hinges" you all speak of? Is it the ones that allow the "ailerons" on the wings to fold in during bot mode to simulate the G1 look?
I have both the G1 colored original MP-Screamers and the ghost version. I transformed both of them several times and they feel pretty solid and no break ever occured.
OP, you know you can unplug the hip-kibbles from his hips and plug them back to his legs for a more natural look.
Have a picture of my MP Screamers display.

I transformed mine several times and several more times. Then I read a warning and examined mine and concluded they were fine so I continued transforming them. Then they cracked.
Heed my warning.
