I don't know if it'll help, gundam model kits have a lot of joints. I bought a few on sale at bigbadtoystore.com. The 1/144 scale would probably work well for what you want to accomplish.

Okay, I haven't updated in a while because my parents have put the camera somewhere and we cant find it.

No matter.

I have one leg finished.

Another leg half finished.

Head is also half finished, it just needs a face.

Arms are planned out.

And the torso is almost made.

Pictures should come later on this week some time.

Looking fantastic, and it looks like it has far better articulation than Rumble/Frenzy and Rewind/Eject.
Your first time out is bound to be a little rough -- but since you're basing it round actual tape cases (easy and cheap to come by), you can try it several times, and once you've got it down, you can worry about neatening it up then...
