My take on where the movies are headed...

Go ahead and throw things at me when I'm done...

:michaelbay: :michaelbay: I think the creators/Quintessons tried Earth as a testing ground for their seeding. I don't think it took hold.

Once they perfected it,I think they seeded the planet that would become Cybertron.I also think they modified the seeding into the Allspark/Cube,creating the planet and the Primes.

The Primes rebelled against the creators(Who I think created the Transformers to be a commodity, like in the original G1) who were forced off of Cybertron.

I think the Creators sent Lockdown after Prime because they built Unicron, who was a big oops. Prime has the Matrix, which may be the key to stopping the monster planet.(Again,as in G1)

I'm not sure what the Dinobots or the Knight angle is,and I'd like to hear what you guys and gals think!! :michaelbay: :michaelbay:

I really like you ideas!

As for the knights and Dinobots thing, I suspect these so-called knights might have once been enforcers of the Creators' rule on their colonies, but some, like the Dinobots, chose to rebel. That might explain why the Dinobots were captured by Lockdown.

That makes so much sense!! :APPLAUSE:
That would explain the size and body style. As far as the name "Dinobot" that could very well be a name humans call them because of the resemblance to dinos.Nothing more.

We should write the next movie!!

I think we should! 8)

As for Dinobots, I agree. I'm actually glad that they were never referred to as Dinobots in the movie. Perhaps Joyce or Cade would name them for reference's sake in TF5. I'd prefer Joyce to do the naming, though; he seems more inclined to give "jivy" names to new stuff.

I mean, Transformium was his idea.

BTW, I got to thinking...what exactly would the Dinobots be enforcing if there are only dinosaurs on Earth? Perhaps there'd be a small population of TF's living on Earth in prehistoric times, and for one reason or another, they go into stasis lock perhaps due to a lack of energon or whatever. These hibernating TF's could then turn up to spice things up in TF5.

Pure speculation on my part, of course.

The Dinobots may have been designed to be enforcers and they may have been built to look like dinos to promote fear among the Cybertronians. I believe they're much larger then the average dinosaur, and scarier.

Makes perfect sense. The most logical explanation for a TF to have a dino mode is for the scare factor. And it even explains why Grimlock is so much larger than an actual T-Rex. If OP were a human, Grimlock would probably be around the size of a T-Rex to him--just guessing here, as I'm not exactly a paleontologist.

I believe Prime is one of the knights. I think he said something to Lockdown about Lockdown's ship once belonging to the knights and that Lockdown was disrespecting it.

In the concept art, The dinobots were referred as black knights a lot. I'm not sure if that has to do with anything but it was interesting. :-?

I wonder what they will do for TF5 because Prime left Earth for the Creators leaving the Autobots behind. The only way he could come back is if the creators go to Earth.

It's possible that Prime was a knight. Or he just knows of the Knights. :michaelbay: And being a Prime,he probably knew how to activate the sword upgrade and what to do with the Dinobots.
He might not return to earth. He left the others with Lockdowns ship so they may go to him.He might call for help.

They could fix lockdown's ship. It was still functional. Somebody mentioned that it looks like a hand, and if you look at some of the concept art(It's around here somewhere) it does resemble a Creators hand,so it may be part of a larger transformer.

Those are pretty interesting and cool ideas. I can see this being used as the plot for the 5th and 6th movies.

I think what also might be an cool idea is that the creators decide to send their remaining loyal knights after the Autobots along with the Decepticons on Earth as a means to bring Optimus into their trap or at least something along the lines of that and the one who's leading the knights is the Creator's ultimate warrior Nemesis Prime who's a demonic looking Optimus designed enforcer. It can bring in some interesting conflict and depth to Optimus's origins as a knight and pair him off against a being that looks like him but is rather a dark version of himself. It'll also make Nemesis Prime himself an actual character for the first time in years since Armada and if you can count Nemesis being Scourge in RID and not just a black repaint of Optimus's toys.

Thats a good idea, but I think the producers used the nemesis prime idea for Galvi. Its a great idea, and the other nights can be Slash,Snarl, and "Slog" in the Aoe towline terms. But Nemesis would have to be really strong as a villain coming later into the series. If he is exactly like optimus prime, Optimus would know his own strength's and weaknesses, therefore finding a way to defeat Nemises Prime. :???: :-?

The Creators might have made Nemesis Prime because they couldn't find Optimus. But he didn't work out so he might be rogue and have a grudge against Optimus (Jealous because OP is the "Chosen One" and he is not) which actually works for a 3rd Trilogy!!!            :michaelbay:

I don't think there will be a third set of movies, at least set in this timeline. Once Bay is gone (also probably after sixth film) it will be reboot time. Movie 5 + 6 plot is still in the air though ;) Though I think Galvatron would take the name Nemesis Prime for himself, or have Sentinels predecessor come back (just like IDW comics, Nova Prime)
