Our assessments of Cyberverse are just different. Unfortunately I see a show that looks cheaply made, sounds cheaply made, and is made for UK fans by people of that region. Even if I were the right age demographic, I would not have found it to be entertaining at all. I even asked my son if any of his friends or their younger siblings watched it, and he said most of them didn't even know it existed, the others who had previously been into Transformers weren't. It's not just Cyberverse though. I really tried to understand why some people liked the UK stuff furman did early on. I got all the volumes released by IDW, and ended up selling them because I hated the art style and the stories were not to my liking.
Prime looked great, sounded great, had an epic cinematic feel to it, and while its tone was of a more serious nature, it was not without elements of fun. I don't think I, and my family ever laughed so hard at an episode if TF's as when Megatron threw 2 of his cons off the warship, chasing after Smokescreen, one transformed into a plane, the other into a car, and screamed all the way down to his inevitable end. Now while RiD15 was obviously a step way down from Prime, I think it is a better comparison with Cyberverse because they were both aiming at the same target audience.
And while I'll agree that RiD15 isn't great, I'd rank it higher than Cyberverse, though both look cheaply animated, I'd give RiD15 the advantage in writing and plot development, such as it was. While most of it is forgettable, at least you have the Starscream arc which I have re watched a couple of times. I watched all of Cyberverse once, even the most recent season 3 episodes when they dropped early online, and I really cant tell you much other than they pronounced Quintessons incorrectly (Even Chris McFeely who is from that region pronounces it correctly, furman just needs to go back to school).
To me it seems simple as; it was too expensive for Hasbro to continue to produce the shows themselves, so they purchased Boulder Media, who could do it for less, and it shows. Even RB Academy lacks the strong moral compass that the original RB had as a great example of a show for young children. I would hope that Hasbro chooses to go a different direction, but if Boulder Media is going to continue making content, they are going to have to do far better IMHO.
Of course, its unfortunate, and goes without saying that Machinima's trilogy was a complete dumpster fire, and is universally hated. Like I said, I have a feeling I'm backing the wrong horse, but I really do hope that this new series that drops on Netflix in just under 3 weeks is good, because for me at least, it has been Seven years since I really enjoyed a piece of Transformers media.
