I find it fitting that when in storage, I have Smokescreen inside Optimus's trailer and now I can have Barricade inside Nemesis's trailer

Now I can give T30 Blitzwing his sword back because I prefer this one for Cyclonus for now

20210812_131732.jpg

Finding storage for this sword was difficult, though. I used the landing gear to hold it to the bottom. I think it adds to his wings and looks sort of cool?

A PCC figure is bigger than a modern Leader Class? Heh, that just really cracks me up.

Yup, Nemesis is awesome. I love that the pack combines POTP,Siege, and Earthrise to make one great Nemesis. The red Slitherfang (Fangtron) is nice too. I like to man up the trailer with the little guys. Any of them look nice with it. And then being able to arm up Nenesis himself to annihilate everything in sight is wonderful!

The combination is really awesome, and I like that having him as siege mold and having ER Optimus is enough to set them apart. Same reason I like having Netflix Soundwave and planning on getting siege soundblaster, I like that they have just enough differences to feel more than just black repaints. I like red slitherfang too but since Nemesis already has the trailer shield I wanna give him to someone else just not sure who. In the meantime I have him with siege Megatron since he's got a sword and no shield

I really DESPISE the Siege mold for Optimus Prime. But for Nemesis, it absolutely ROCK and work perfectly. It also make the perfect counterbalance to ER Optimus.
Plus the little minions for both balance the powers perfectly.

The mold isn't perfect for sure, and the head on mine is real wobbly. But I agree it works well for Nemesis and his alt mode looks mean and awesome

That is my main problem with Siege Optimus. That """"""Cybertronian""""" altmode just suck. My bias is for the deluxe based on the first Activision game.

But that truck for Nemesis IS perfection because it don't look like an "Optimus" if it make any sense. It look like a Nemesis.

Every time I look at my spoiler pack Nemesis all geared up or in vehicle mode with the trailer attached my first thought is (slow heavy metal music plays in background)
The Siege mold does work really well for him as opposed to being just the earthly looking truck from ER. Really sells the twisted mirror version vibe

Should still be easy to get at normal price pretty much everywhere.
He's really fantastic and should not be missed. Plus you can pimp up your Nemesis Prime with Reprolabels to give him that extra hoompf. They also have 3 different sticker sheets just for the trailer alone. One of them is to convert it into the G2 Optimus Prime trailer!

Nemesis main bot:
https://toyhax.com/for-earthrise/6206-l ... prime.html

Nemesis normal trailer:
https://toyhax.com/for-earthrise/6205-l ... ailer.html

Shattered Glass Optimus Prime Trailer:
https://toyhax.com/for-generations-sele ... prime.html

G2 Optimus Prime Trailer:
https://toyhax.com/for-earthrise/6203-l ... prime.html

All inspired by the Nemesis set!

Thanks to Walmart clearancing out deluxes, I finally picked up my 2nd Netflix figure: Deseeus army drone. But I will choose to call him Deeseeus himself, since I particularly loathe that Quintesson mold, and this guy will replace the quint I sold from the Pit of Judgement set.

The figure itself is gorgeous. I have always loved this version of the mold (ER did it a massive disservice honestly) and in the washed out black and silver it is really sharp. I love how it looks, and I am super glad I did finally get a version of it. It has presence and beauty.

That issue was presumably fixed with the Crosshairs version of the mold. People say it was Ratchet, but that had different leg parts.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Hasbro Pulse UK have put up fesh listings for wave 1 of the Netflix Deluxes, Scrapface sold out within days (I didn't think he was that popular, is it just because he's a good army builder?) but the rest are still available. I'm tempted to get Hound, I still don't have a version of that mould and if the recent leaks are anything to go by an Earth vehicle mode retool isn't happening, at least for a while. So I may jump on that opportunity while it's there.

Scrapface is an awesome repaint of Refraktor, but he has 2 things going against him being available. 1) many want 3 to form the camera mode and 2) he was shortpacked in the case, so the supply is already limited.

Hound is a solid mold, if you don't have one yet and this one is affordable, I'd say got for it.

I don't think he's going to. His Siege mold is already fairly earthy to being with. Look's like a pretty normal open top Humvee type vehicle to begin with. I don't think Hound suffers a lack of an earth mode, rather it is the wrong earth mode, a modern Humvee versus a classic Jeep. In fact, if they wanted to do a classic Jeep Hound, with the seats, it would be easier to retool SS Jeep Bee than Siege hound.

I hope so because I don't really care for Siege Hound, looks too modern Humvee like for my taste. I'd much prefer a new mold a rework of the Jeep Bee mold to more accurately represent his classic G1 look.

A modder just took off the windshield and put in a classic Jeep screen and it looked perfect. I don't know if there is anything stopping Hasbro from doing that like licensing concerns, or if it's just not a priority. Hound is basically the only one who didn't get the simple retool to be more Earth-like.

I'm not sure this is the one I remember, but this is a pretty nice design. I think ideally it would be bigger.

He did also end up being a show character once Earthrise came out, even though he came out in the Siege wave, so there may have been people looking for him that passed on him before because they collect based on on-screen characters and/or don't grab repaints that only exist for the heck of it.

I wonder if he'll get an Earth mode like Sideswipe and Mirage did. Or has everything been revealed for the next year?
There have been no leaks of a new Hound yet, but to be fair, the leaks are never guaranteed to be 100% accurate representations of EVERYTHING that is coming for certain. We've got leakers saying there's Selects figures coming that weren't in the batch of them that reported as a rumor a bit ago, and we didn't hear anything about Silverstreak/Blue Bluestreak until, like, 2 days before in-hand pics of him just suddenly appeared.
