Profile: The Throttlebots’ self-appointed comedian. Specialises in insulting jokes, he’ll make fun of even the most highest ranking commanders and occasionally has to be gagged by the other Throttlebots before he lands himself in hot water. Unfortunately he cannot take what he dishes out. Freeway absolutely hates being made fun of and is liable to get exceedingly irritable and even angry when someone makes fun of him. Not the most popular Autobot around but he does works best as a part of a team and is most comfortable around with his fellow Throttlebots who have gotten used to Freeway's sense of humour. He makes use of his skills as a saboteur to also rain havoc with practical jokes. He uses these jokes as a form of blowing off steam from what is a rather stressful job sabotaging Decepticon equipment with often little support. Relies on tricks and dirty tactics in battle instead of brute force. Freeway absolutely despises the idea of a straight fight (often because he tends to lose those) and will usually find some way of bending things in his favour. He much prefers sneaking around behind enemy lines causing mischief than being on frontline combat duty. His boisterous nature can make him a liability on covert missions if he isn't told to shut up soon enough.

Abilities: Freeway’s car radio disguises a sophisticated radio intercept and decoding device. He uses this to pick up enemy radio broadcasts, de-code them and transmit erroneous ones instead to cause maximum confusion amongst the Decepticons. He’s an excellent saboteur, knowing most of the tricks of the trade and inventing a few himself. He’s armed with a plethora of equipment that he can use for a whole range of booby traps and disarming them. While Freeway is not the fastest of the Throttlebots he can still achieve a top speed of 180mph (290kph).

Weaknesses: Lack of strength and firepower means that he can rarely hold is own in a fire fight or hand-to-hand combat, without the aid of his fellow Throttlebots. Freeway has been known at times to laugh so hard at his own jokes that he blows internal circuits and disables himself. This can cause much merriment amongst those Bots who he had just been laughing at.

Sample Post:
Freeway rolled his optics, “You never visited me while I was lying wounded, possibly dying in the medbay,” he said to Nova Strike, “Not once. You didn’t even send me a get well card. Oh sure you can go on about defending the city from Decepticon attacks, like that’s a proper excuse! Next you'll be saying that you had to go on some secret black ops mission. Really, is that anyway to treat your friends?”

Freeway was feigning incredulity after winding up in medbay seriously wounded. He had been repaired and was back on his feet but he had to vent his frustration somehow and unfortunately Nova Strike just happened to be the Bot who was in the wrong place at the right time. His fellow Throttlebots knowing full well what kind of mood Freeway might be in upon his release from medbay were nowhere around, having found excuses to be elsewhere until Freeway had worked it out of his systems.

“I’m not angry with you, Sparky,” the Throttlebot said using the nickname he had given Nova so long ago, “I’m just disappointed. But they say forgiveness is a virtue so I forgive you. Better hurry along to that meeting with Grimlock,” he patted Nova Strike on the back as the big Bot turned to leave, “Yep, forgiveness is a great virtue, hehehehehe!” he chuckled quietly to himself. He gazed at the back of the departing big Bot and the sheet of paper now glued to the armour of Nova. In bold print it proclaimed that ‘Dinobots can kiss my fender!’. Freeway laughed more. Yes, he reflected, laughter is the greatest medicine.

If I recall correctly you used to play a majority of these guys in the last game. So I know you're comfortable with RPing them.

Just a couple stat changes though. According to his tech specs his speed should be 4 and his courage should be 8.

Other than those minor changes he's good to go. You can stick him in a couple of places, Nebulos, on board either the Guardian or the Ark-22, G9, or Cas Coller - Autobot shipyard.

Motto: "Delicious steaks are the right of all sentient beings."
Weapon: Double Barrelled Shell Launcher
I've NPC'ed Cosmos for about a month and now I've decided I want to keep him. I hope that since I've posted him a few times I won't need a sample post.

Cosmos

Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Reconnaissance & Communications
Alternate Modes: Flying Saucer
Weapons: High-Powered Particle Cannons
Special Abilities: Escape velocity, space flight, robot mode adapted for low-gravity environments.
Height: 16ft/4.87m
Quote: “Reach for the stars, but never leave your friends.”

Strength: 2
Intelligence: 8
Dexterity: 3
Speed: 10
Endurance: 6
Courage: 7
Firepower: 6
Accuracy: 9
Melee: 3
Tech Skill: 8
Charisma: 7
Rank: 6

Profile:
Cosmos is one of the loneliest Autobots. His primary function keeps him in space for extended perods of time, much like the Combaticon Blast Off. In contrast to Blast Off, Cosmos is a well-liked mechanoid who has no problem expressing how much he enjoys the company of his comrades. His friends send Cosmos frequent messages when he's in orbit, but sometimes neither that nor zipping through meteor showers is enough to relieve his boredom. When orbitting Earth, he occasionally pulls pranks like flying to the surface and hovering over someone's home. This generally gives the Earthlings a bit of a harmless scare and also gives the light-hearted Cosmos a funny story to tell his friends when he finally gets back.

Abilities:
In vehicle mode, Subject can achieve orbit under his own power, and is highly maneuverable. He's capable of traveling the distance between Earth and the Moon with sufficient Energon. Subject functions as a communications satellite. His optical sensors can see a human-sized objeck at a distance of 600 miles. His robot mode is not very strong, but it's designed for zero-gravity operations. Both modes utilize high-powered particle cannons.

Weaknesses:

Subject's robot mode is cumbersome on land in anything but low-gravity environments.

Name: Crackdown
Allegiance: Autobots
Function: Vanguard
Alternate mode: Cybertronian Siege Tank (S.W.A.T V100 w/ battering ram)
Weapons: Energy Riot Gun, two handed warhammer, emergency laser pistol
Special Abilities: EMP weapons
Height: 30 ft
Quote: "If they wanted to keep it, they should have had stronger walls."

STRENGTH: 7
INTELLIGENCE: 7
DEXTERITY: 4
SPEED: 4
ENDURANCE: 8
COURAGE: 9
FIREPOWER: 7
ACCURACY: 5
MELEE: 8
TECH SKILL: 4
CHARISMA: 7
RANK:

Profile: Once at the forefront of Autobot offensives that layed siege and waste to Decepticon strongholds, Crackdown finds another calling as a last-line-of-defense combatant. Superior armor and close-quarter tactics enables the cobalt-hued warrior to pierce through staunch enemy resistance and hold onto the newly established beachhead while reinforcements arrive, or hold the line in last ditch defenses at besieged Autobot complexes. While his weaponry limits him in ranged firefights with the enemy, he should not be underestimated for his tenacity to get up close and personal in the face of grim odds. Dense armor plating and redundant systems ensure that he won't go down with a fight; a victory at best, a mutually assured destruction at worst. It is this bold and daring behavior against Decepticons that makes him a natural leader in inspiring fellow Autobots to charge the newly broken defenses of a Decepticon base.

Though Crackdown's armament and combat tactics equate him to the role of a brutish assault warrior in the eyes of both Decepticons and fellow Autobots, he is in fact a compassionate Autobot and usually at odds with his own internal turmoil over the longevity of the war and severe loss of Cybertronian life.

Abilities: Firing electromagnetic pulses as well as traditional energy bolts, his riot gun is capable of temporarily short circuiting enemy weaponry. This allows the more melee-oriented Autobot to get down and dirty with any Decepticon willing, or unwilling, to be on the recieving end of his warhammer. The warhammer itself is the detached battering ram component of his alternate mode. And if a ramming attack from his alternate mode cannot level a wall, a few well placed energon satchel charges certainly can.

Weaknesses: Close quarters combat a long range fighter does not make. Riot guns are an atypical weapon in many of the campaigns throughout the war, as is a warhammer in the face of countless ranged energy weapons. A specialist, Crackdown is often not well suited against the various kinds of Decepticons unless they were to fight him on his terms. Given the usual aggressive nature of most Decepticons, it is often not that hard for a direct fight with one of them.

Sample Post:

Heavy metallic footfalls resounded like a dying gasp of another ruined Decepticon outpost, falling silent as an Autobot slowly perched himself on the remains of a cannon. Debris clattered gently onto the base of the weapon like so many cascading pebbles into an chasm. His riot gun layed flat on his lap, Crackdown looked at the havoc he had raised. His eyes glanced to the south. A clean hole had been ripped through the southern wall of the outpost, deactivated corpses piled ahead of it in almost a neat half circle. Some of them had had their chests ripped part and charred around the exit wounds, while others had gruesome holes and dents in their faces where a heavy bludgeoning weapon had sunken in. Swift kills. Merciful. He doubted he or any of his Autobot brethren would have had such quick deaths at the hands of the Decepticons.

"Y'know, with you sitting up there, watching them... Makes it look like you almost feel sorry for them," came a friendly voice, laying an articulated metal hand on the shoulder of the war weary soldier.

"Heh," Crackdown replied with a forced mirth, glancing between his comrade and the lifeless eyes that stared up to the starry sky above. His own eyes followed their blank stare. The stars were so silent, so uncaring. Thousands upon thousands of lightyears away, countless worlds waged war, and their own wars were insignificant to one another. His war was insignificant to them. Gradually he began to stand, gears and servos whirring inaudibly within his battered shell as he rose to his full height. "Yea... Feel sorry for them..., feel sorry for us."

The other Autobot tilted his head curiously at the rather cryptic comment from the usually stoic vanguard, watching Crackdown make his steadily way towards their unit commander for the next set of orders.

Alrighty. This is a petty good first attempt.

Now, down to the nitty gritty. First we have the EMP weapon/s. I'll need to know how many he has/uses and what it/they're capable of in order to administer the proper stat penalty. Add that info to the Abilities section. Also just a couple of things to clear up concerning his other weapons: energy riot gun... how long does the effect last? 'Satchel charges': does he carry these, and if he does you'll have to add them to the abilities section and give a description on how they work.

Moving on...the profile is pretty much a description of his abilities. I want to know about his past....about his personality. Use the profile section to build up the character so other players can relate to him. Most applicants...and this is not a requirement...provide a short synopses of a significant point in their character's past that wound up defining who they are during the time frame in the game.

Gonna need to add his height in meters. And please add his top speed and range in the....surprise, surprise...abilities section. (Gotta love that section)

Lastly, run your post through a grammar and spell checker, for they are a player's best friend.

Tweak those few items and re-post the whole thing and I'll have another peek at it.

Superior armor and close-quarter tactics enable the cobalt-hued warrior to pierce through staunch enemy resistance and hold onto the newly established beachhead while reinforcements arrive, or hold the line in last ditch defenses at besieged Autobot complexes. While his armament and close-quarter tactics make him an ideal choice for such operations, they both serve to show him at his best as well as at his worst. The sheer desperation for victory on both sides repeatedly gives him an all too bitter insight into the nature of the war. Though he is as amicable as the next Autobot when greeted by his fellow brothers in arms, there is an all too familiar exhausted look to his face. Questions or remarks to the war are usually met with cynical utterances and pity for both factions involved. More often than not, he is often found perched atop a spire or high wall, optics looking out to the distance, remembering a thickly entrenched battle as the Autobots elsewhere marched steadily towards Decepticon-held Altihex. Memories of charred and twisted metal haze the present for him at times, the war weary Autobot often feels as if he is once again standing back to back with fellow Autobots if left to his meditations for far too long. He lived whereas they did not. He can no longer remember how many of comrades have died around him, nor how many enemies haunt him in his dreams. His dreams become a nightmare as he remembers that the war is not yet over. Ever a soldier fighting for a peace on Cybertron, he rolls out with the others onwards to another battle not yet won.

Abilities: In vehicle mode, he is capable of speeds not exceeding 75 mph/120 kmh with a normal operational range of 400 mi/643 km. Crackdown’s riot gun is as much an offensive weapon as it is a defensive one, depending on the tactics employed. The weapon has two firing modes. The first setting fires a single laser bolt with a slow rate of fire comparable to a bolt action rifle. The second setting is considered to be his EMP weapon. Chambered in a drum magazine of his riot gun are 15 EMP shells in the shape of round disks, behaving more like limpet mines once fired. Once it attaches to a surface, each mine then generates a single electromagnetic pulse with a radius of ten meters. The pulse is capable of short circuiting weaponry and scrambling sensors for no more than twenty seconds, though more technologically advanced weapons and opponents may be able to lessen the time or outright ignore the EM pulse. Disabling ranged weapons and targeting sensors allows the more melee-oriented Autobot to get down and dirty with any Decepticon willing, or unwilling, to be on the receiving end of his war hammer. The war hammer itself is the detached battering ram component of his alternate mode.

Weaknesses: Close quarters combat a long range fighter does not make. Riot guns are an atypical weapon in many of the campaigns throughout the war, the laser bolts of its primary setting being of only normal damage while the EMP shells lose effectiveness against more technologically advanced Decepticons. The war hammer itself, though a devastating melee weapon, leaves much to be desired in most situations against enemies armed with a variety of ranged attacks. A specialist, Crackdown is often not well suited against the various kinds of Decepticons unless they were to fight him on his terms. Given the usual aggressive nature of most Decepticons, it is often not that hard for a direct fight with one of them.

Good, good.

You hit on everything I mentioned and it looks good. The EMP hit will be a deduction of 5 stat points. Subtract them from the stats you feel would be appropriate.

Make the deduction and re-post.

You're almost there.

Name: Crackdown
Allegiance: Autobots
Function: Vanguard
Alt. mode: Cybertronian Siege Tank (S.W.A.T V100 w/ battering ram)
Weapons: Hybrid Riot Gun, two handed war hammer, emergency laser pistol
Special Abilities: EMP weapons (Riot Gun w/ EMP shells)
Height: 30 ft./9.1 m
Quote: "If they wanted to keep it, they should have had stronger walls."

STRENGTH: 7
INTELLIGENCE: 7
DEXTERITY: 4
SPEED: 4
ENDURANCE: 8
COURAGE: 9
FIREPOWER: 5
ACCURACY: 5
MELEE: 7
TECH SKILL: 4
CHARISMA: 5
RANK:

Profile: Once at the forefront of Autobot offensives that laid siege and waste to Decepticon strongholds, Crackdown finds another calling as a last-line-of-defense combatant.

Sample Post:
Heavy metallic footfalls resounded like a dying gasp of another ruined Decepticon outpost, falling silent as an Autobot slowly perched himself on the remains of a cannon. Debris clattered gently onto the base of the weapon like so many cascading pebbles into a chasm. His riot gun laid flat on his lap, Crackdown looked at the havoc he had raised. His eyes glanced to the south. A clean hole had been ripped through the southern wall of the outpost, deactivated corpses piled ahead of it in almost a neat half circle. Some of them had had their chests ripped apart and charred around the exit wounds, while others had gruesome holes and dents in their faces where a heavy bludgeoning weapon had sunken in. Swift kills. Merciful. He doubted he or any of his Autobot brethren would have had such quick deaths at the hands of the Decepticons.

"Y'know, with you sitting up there, watching them... Makes it look like you almost feel sorry for them," a friendly voice came ringing through the silence, laying an articulated metal hand on the shoulder of the war weary soldier.

"Heh," Crackdown replied with a forced mirth, glancing between his comrade and the lifeless eyes that stared up to the starry sky above. His eyes followed their blank stare. The stars were so silent, so uncaring. Thousands upon thousands of light years away, countless worlds waged war, and their own wars were insignificant to one another.

Congratulations! You now have an Approved piece of cannon fodder....er, I mean a first rate Autobot soldier. Enjoy!

Psychosis

Allegiance: Neutral (favors Decepticons)
Sub-group: None
Function: Medic/Interrogator
Alternate Modes: MLRS Chassis/C2-based Vehicles
Weapons: Modified Cybertronian Medical Welder (acts like a flamethrower only highly pressurized), small pistol, EMP Talons
Special Abilities: EMP
Height: 29ft/ 8.8392m

Strength: 4

Tech Skill: 9
Charisma: 3

Profile: Once a simple medic for the Autobots, his whole life was turned upsidedown when he was captured and tortured by Decepticon forces during the war for Cybertron. He was kept as a Decepticon prisoner for an unknown amount of time, all that anyone knows is by the time the interrogators were through with him, his mind was in shambles. He eventually escaped by using his deceased inmate's head as a weapon to not only knock out the guard but to beat his way to freedom. But the damage had been done, and Cybertron was a wasteland. He stowed away on one of the Decepticon transports to Earth.

When he had arrived he not only had killed all the occupants of the ship, but had dones so slowly, through various turture methods, a sort of repayment for what was done to him. However he was not satisfied with just payback, he had discovered that he enjoyed torturing his fellow people.

He now runs around as a military medical vehicle, using the facade as a means to gain more subjects for his unending love of torture, finding that fleshlings scream more than Autobots...

Abilities: He has the ability to put Autobots or Decepticons in stasis lock using his EMP talons, a single touch from them meaning immediate shut-down. His insanity also makes him immune to most methods of intimidation and pain, making him an annoyance for any angry Decepticon.

Weaknesses: His EMP talons take up a lot of his energy reserves when in use, so they are not always active, meaning if he does use them and one can avoid contact, then he will be severely weaker and a much easier opponent to deal with. His unstable mind also causes him to act out in strange ways, possibly making him a target for Decepticons and Autobots a like.

Sample Post:

Psychosis smiled, yes smile that's the word, no evil grin, yes that's the one; Psychosis gave an evil grin as the pathetic fleshling screamed for an end to the pain. Oh, but Psychosis knows that the scream is what he wants, yes...it is what he wants indeed...Psychosis leaned in close to the waste of space's face and his hand snuck, no...crept its way up to the fleshling's index finger and snapped it like a swig! Ooh yes, such a delicious snap, and then came the scream, Psychosis just laughed all the more at the creature's pain, such joyous pain.

A beeping came from the console across the room, that's not what he wants to hear right now, no he wants screams not beeps! Psychosis stopped his way over and pressed the accept button, what could be more important than the screams? Oh...yes...this sounds, like fun...Psychosis liked this, he liked it a lot. He walks over to his tools of the trade, yes...tools of pain, and selects his more robotic based tools. An Autobot was in need of pain, yes...the pain would make Psychosis happy, and whatever came with it would please Megatron, but that is not what Psychosis cared for, no...the pain is what he wants, the pain and the screams.

Once Psychosis had grabbed his needed tools, he walked over to the fleshling, who now has water running down his pathetic face, and smiled, not grinned no that wasn't the right word, he smiled. Psychosis took one of his fingers and placed it on the fleshy's chest and began to press down, ooh the sounds of cracking ribs was delicious, and the screams commenced. By the time the creature had passed on, Psychosis' finger was fully through its chest and touching the cold table beneath. Psychosis wondered how much fun this new plaything would be, he decided, oh yes he decided, that he would find out soon enough. With that, he transformed and rolled out of his secret cave, his playground of gore and screams, and went off to say hellow to his new patient.

Alrighty. First off the writing is good. However, having as a neutral is very precarious. Traditionally neutrals don't do very well in game. They're loners. Herein lies the first issue...as a neutral...and a lunatic...he would be wanted by both factions...the 'Bots to shove in Garrus 9, possibly for spark extraction...and the 'Cons, well they'd probably just kill him on sight.

Second issue, if he's not caught as soon as you drop him in game...you won't have any interaction with other players or their characters. Without that interaction that game would get stale. We want to hang on to as many players as possible to enhance the game.

My suggestion, pick either function. If you decide to round this character out here's what I suggest you do...

Both the weapon and the fact that he'd be immune to intimidation and pain without courage of 10 is not gonna work. Also, the EMP weapon wouldn't work unless he pierced the armor of an enemy...so a mere touch would in all actuality not have any effect. And you can't have a stat of 10. So those two points will need to be addressed.

Give it some thought on how you'd like to work him. Rework and re-post if you're still interested in playing him.

You'll need to choose one function.

It's a little hard to believe, for me, that he was capable of killing every 'Con on a transport to Earth. He's got a strength of 4 and a dexterity of 6 ...even with his above average melee skills...he could hold off some mechs, but kill an entire ship full of Decepticons...probably not.

Another issue I have is why he would side himself with the faction that helped distort his mind. He was captured and interrogated by the Decepticons and they left him mentally broken. Also, after going on his killing spree he'd probably be on the 'Con hit list.

Rework the profile, I'd like to know why he was captured by the 'Cons. Also, neither the Decepticons or the Autobots have had any contact with humans...they're in the early phases of infiltration. You'll need to eliminate those references.

I need his top speed with a range.

I really like the concept of this character. Work on these remaining issues...give it some thought...re-post and I'll take another look at it.

Psychosis

Faction: Decepticons
Sub-group: None
Function: Interrogator
Alternate Modes: MLRS Chassis/C2-based Vehicles
Weapons: Modified Cybertronian Medical Welder (acts like a flamethrower only highly pressurized), small pistol, EMP Talons
Special Abilities: EMP
Height: 29ft/ 8.8392m
Quote: “The mind is a terrible thing to waste, I'll put yours to great use.”

Strength: 4
Intelligence: 7
Dexterity: 6
Speed: 5 (500 mph in the air with a range of 200 miles, on land 120 mph)
Endurance: 5
Courage: 8
Firepower: 6
Accuracy: 5
Melee: 7
Tech Skill: 9
Charisma: 3
Rank:

Profile: Once a simple medic for the Autobots, his whole life was turned upsidedown when he was captured and tortured by Decepticon forces during the war for Cybertron. The reason for his capture is they believed he knew some backdoors into Autobot territory, believing he had used them to travel safer. He stowed away on one of the Autobot transports to Earth.

During his travel, his ruined mind kept showing him images and visions of his time as a POW. Eventually he couldn't take it and attacked his fellow Autobots, believing them to be the same Decepticons that tortured him. He was eventual put into stasis lock and stored in a makeshift prison cell. When the ship reached Earth's solar system it was attacked by a Decepticon scouting party and destroyed. When they went through the wreckage they found Psychosis floating in space, still in stasis lock and undamaged due to his placement in the ship. When they reactivated him, the prolonged deactivation had only increased his mental mess, allowing him to be easily convinced that he is in fact a Decepticon. He is now feared among the Autobots as the one interrogator none want to see if they were captured.

Abilities: He has the ability to put Autobots in stasis lock using his EMP talons, a good slash or stab would cause an immediate shut-down. His insanity also makes him immune to most pain, though he can be intimidated in other ways, meaning that it is possible to rein in his odd habit and use it.

Psychosis smiled, yes smile that's the word, no evil grin, yes that's the one; Psychosis gave an evil grin as the pathetic Autobot screamed for an end to the pain. Oh, but Psychosis knows that the scream is what he wants, yes...it is what he wants indeed...Psychosis leaned in close to the waste of space's face and his hand snuck, no...crept its way up to the Autobot's index finger and snapped it like a swig! Ooh yes, such a delicious snap, and then came the scream, Psychosis just laughed all the more at the Bot's pain, such joyous pain.

A beeping came from the console across the room, that's not what he wants to hear right now, no he wants screams not beeps! Psychosis stomped his way over and pressed the accept button, what could be more important than the screams? Oh...yes...this sounds, like fun...Psychosis liked this, he liked it a lot. He walks over to his tools of the trade, yes...tools of pain, and selects his most devious torture devices. An Autobot soldier was in need of pain, yes...the pain would make Psychosis happy, and whatever came with it would please Megatron, but that is not what Psychosis cared for, no...the pain is what he wants, the pain and the screams.

Once Psychosis had grabbed his needed tools, he walked over to the Autobot engineer, who now has a severe shiver running down his pathetic body, and smiled, not grinned no that wasn't the right word, he smiled. Psychosis took one of his talons and placed it on the engineer's chest and began to press down, ooh the sounds of cracking parts was delicious, and the screams commenced. By the time the Autobot had passed on, Psychosis' talon was fully through its chest and touching the cold table beneath. Psychosis wondered how much fun this new plaything would be, he decided, oh yes he decided, that he would find out soon enough. With that, he transformed and rolled out of his secret cave, his playground of gore and screams, and went off to say hello to his new patient.

Profile

A born soldier, this Cybertronian was committed from the early part of his life to the art of warfare. Skilled in combat, strategy, and highly disciplined, he tested exceptionally out of all classes, and outshone many of his peers. However, he did not choose to become a potential servant to his planet. It was chosen for him.

He is a drone.

An exact match for over 1000 like him, something about him just waved his superiority like a banner. He was a genius, and should have ran the ranks with flying colors, but there was a problem.

Discrimination.

Fellow Cybertronians disowned him and scorned his accomplishments. They disrespected him, destroyed his property, and worked hard to keep him out of the ranks.

"Unit 766 is, noted, unique compared to the rest of his kind. Unmatched in nearly every attribute applied by his creators by any of his species, Unit 766 has been described as irreplaceable, unbeatable, and a true marvel of science by his commanding officers. However, by laws of our great world of Cybertron, and the legislation of the Parliament, ranking is prohibited to all drones, and regardless of skill, they are to remain what they are, and do what they are created to do...." - Excerpt from court hearing: Unit 766 vs. Cybertron.

As the insults began to get worse, he was given the name Kol, a simple and terrible name. However, Kol was very patient, and did not react to any degrading actions by his counterparts. He answers every Cybertronian by "Master", and "Mistress". Kol never allows himself to give anyone a reason to think he is a problem, but one day, he will get his chance to prove his worthiness....

Kol uses mathematics and logic to achieve victory. He is a master of physics, and totally educated in all types of tactical warfare. This makes him suitable for strategic development, He is worldly and wise, but modest and respectful. He is underestimated constantly and given the cold shoulder, but Kol never let's such things get to him. He is a professional, but a soldier as well. He requires no reward, no incentive, no persuasion. He is the perfect soldier.

Abilities

An ultimate master of hand to hand combat, Kol applies physics to any immediate altercation. Using blunt speed and precision, he can calculate the movement of his opponent and actually predict oncoming attacks. His ability also allows the discovery of critical attack points, allowing him to drop weaker enemies in utter seconds.

Weakness

Kol's mathematical application is lightening fast, but when it comes to enemy firepower, the only projectiles he can apply it to would be missiles or anything slower.

Sample Post:

5 seconds...

The air was cold. Contact would be crisp. He'd have to compensate for sound.

4 seconds...

3 men on the right, 2 on the left. One partially blocked his objective.

3 seconds...

They were nine stories up. The glass was reinforced. But it would break with the right pressure.

2 seconds...

Notices a guard favors his right leg. One tweaks his shoulder. Notices another struggling with a transmitter. Alertness levels are decreasing

1 second...

He closed his eye. His visor snapped shut. His grip loosened on from the perch.

He burst from the shadows, striking the guard with the transmitter a little below the neck, gripping the back of his head. He spun to the next one, twisting the former's head in a clean snapping motion. The other guards were now fully alert, but it was too late. The one with the quirky shoulder raised a cannon. The assassin ducked beneath his arm, pulled backward, and directed a heavy blow into joint of the shoulder. The guard pulled back in pain, but was stopped by one of the assassin's legs, which pulled him into a backwards fall. The assassin forced the fall by kicked him downward, and ripping off his arm. Turning quickly, he fired the cannon into the throat of an oncoming enemy, and then at his downed foe. The one with the favored leg advanced with great force, but the assassin slid into him, smashing into his left leg, knocking him airborne from lost of balance. Before he could hit the floor, he was impaled by the assassin's harpoon, ripped backwards, and thrown into a fellow bodyguard. They smashed into the window, screaming as the fell to their death.

The infiltrator slowly turned away and walked towards the cowering cybertronian behind the desk. "A-a-a drone? Who...who are you?" The target sputtered, backing away on his behind.

The assassin slowly raised a pistol. "My name is Kol...."

This a very good start. Just a few things that need some work...nothing major. You only used 69 stat points so, my suggestion would be to add that extra point onto his Tech Skill. He's extremely intelligent so his Tech Skill should be above average.

Also, if you could describe his weapons and their abilities. He needs a top speed and a maximum range as well.

Now about the bit concerning "His ability also allows the discovery of critical attack points, allowing him to drop weaker enemies in utter seconds." That is pretty much describing Crytalocution. If that's what you're interested in him using then you'll need to add it to his abilities.

Lastly, his special ability is not really...well a special ability. There are some Cybertronians who are gifted with a faster more precise processor...i.e. Perceptor. I would stick with just a very high intelligence otherwise the added skill will cost you stat points. But the decision is ultimately yours.

Rework and repost and I'll another look at him.

Weapons:

Kol's trademark weapon is the Champion's harpoon. It is surprisingly a long range weapon, shot with amazing force and dazzling accuracy. The harpoon is on the end of a 100+ foot Helion line, from his manufacturers, a cable made of material extremely difficult to sever. The Reaper's scythe is a marvel, literal cutting edge technology, and allows him to deliver swift cuts through his enemies with ease. The high precision grenade launcher has an impressive range of about 200+ feet. The launcher propels a single round that explodes on impact, or several rounds with less accuracy. His chain rockets are rapid fire missiles that lock in on painted targets, but require a cooldown period.

Motto: "Always looking for a new motto."
Weapon: Chomping Rotor Blades
Name: Bludgeon
Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Electric Warrior
Alt. mode: Cybertronian Tank
Weapons: Energo-Sword, Shield, Electric Cannon, Electric Fireballs
Height: 30 ft / 9.14 m
Quote: “To know your own limits, you must first know your foe's limits.”

Strength: 6
Intelligence: 8
Dexterity: 9
Speed: 2
Endurance: 9
Courage: 9
Firepower: 7
Accuracy: 8
Melee: 10
Tech Skill: 7
Charisma: 7
Rank: 6

Profile: Bludgeon is calmed and prepared, always giving the disconcerting impression that he knows something no one else does. He frightens other Decepticons with his emotionless demeanour during combat. One of few Decepticons who could be described as honourable, the aloof Bludgeon adheres to an archaic code which only he understands. He feels that each worthy opponent he conquers adds to his own abilities, bringing him closer to his ideal of the “ultimate warrior.” His superstitious ways and eerie religious practices disturb many Decepticons, but none can deny his effectiveness in combat. Nor would they try, lest he turn his seemingly supernatural abilities against them.

Abilities: Bludgeon is one of the most skilled hand-to-hand combatants from Cybertron and is a master of the forgotten art of Metallikato. He has generators in his legs that produce disorienting clouds of black smoke. In robot mode, Bludgeon is armed with a high-powered energo-sword and accompanying shield, as well as an electric cannon (also the main weapon in tank mode). He possesses the ability to internally create electric fireballs that can be directed through his body with a range of over 400 yards.

Weaknesses: Bludgeon has no known physical weaknesses, but adherence to his superstitious beliefs and code of honour can hamper his battlefield effectiveness.

Sample Post:

Seated on the floor with his legs crossed and actuators resting on his knee joints, Bludgeon was motionless, as inanimate as the few items of furniture occupying his cell. Grey steel greeted him from every angle. Against his dreary surroundings, even his dark aqua colour scheme appeared as though in defiance of the mass of tedious grey enveloping him. In a strange way, Bludgeon looked out of place, inconsistent with the interior.

His optics were devoid of vitality, hollow orbs featuring only darkness. Having completed his daily training session under the careful supervision of the guards, they had escorted him back to his cell where he would pass the remaining cycles in the orn in silence, entertained only by meditation and the drills he performed to maintain his lethality in combat.

Tomorrow would eventually come around, and Bludgeon would repeat his routine all over again. This routine applied to the next orn, as well. And the one after that. And the one after that. And the one after that.

Colour flooded back into his optics, two pools of blood red filling to capacity. Meditation concluded, Bludgeon lowered his cranial unit. He brought an actuator to his face-plate and examined it, gaze latching on to it.

They would have never been aware of Bludgeon's unique yet potent ability had he not guaranteed his ignorant opponent, a powerful individual whose belligerence equalled his impressive strength with ease, that he could defeat the challenger without the aid of physical force. Chainfist, well known to the guards and inmates alike for constantly broadcasting his obsession to beat Bludgeon to scrap, scoffed at the master of Metallikato, saying that madness had finally seized his mind.

The fight began when Chainfist launched a quick right hook at him. It ended three astroseconds later, courtesy of two electric fireballs discharged at point-blank range.

Or so the tale went, as far as the two guards who were present during the encounter claimed what their optics had witnessed. It had happened so fast—perhaps too fast for the pair of guards to register and comprehend in its entirety. But they saw Chainfist fall, a broken body, off-lined as a result of the damage inflicted upon him, crashing to the floor as gravity went about its business. He neither uttered a single word nor twitched to confirm his survival.

While Chainfist's continued functioning seemed dubious Bludgeon had not killed him. Logic frowned at that very action. Logic, prior to the confrontation, had informed him of the consequences involved in the poor fool's termination. Logic persuaded Bludgeon to deviate from his original plan and prevent himself from making an error.

To have killed Chainfist, Bludgeon would have been immediately shown his new home: The Rig. Most likely as a permanent resident, too. Given how deadly the electric warrior was, owing to the legendary reputation he had garnered before being incarcerated and the amount of wannabes he had bested in this facility thus far, no argument no matter how well supported with facts and statistics would have saved him from The Rig. Bludgeon knew Maximus had reached his limits with him and had cast his optic on the martial artist, scrutinising every movement he was now making.

It was as much for the inmates' protection as it was for Bludgeon's. He considered it ironic, almost laughable when Maximus told him that, but chose not to express his opinion to the warden. The line was so fine between solitary confinement and The Rig, even a regular cell and The Rig, that Bludgeon could barely identify it. That, and Maximus wasn't particularly fond of violence and those who had the potential to excel at it.

Rising from the floor, Bludgeon composed himself, his stoic visage gazing straight ahead. He was wary of the penalties bound to his actions, should he find himself being challenged once more by another inmate. One more punch, one more kick—even in self-defence which was often the case—and it would be all over. Maximus had made that very clear; he'd dedicate a great deal of effort to personally ensure Bludgeon's spark was extracted, that he lived out the remainder of his sentence in The Rig.

While he understood those penalties and accepted them, his concerns did not lay with them. Not at this moment. All likely trouble-makers, all those idiots who continued to believe they could defeat Bludgeon despite the atrocious head-to-head between the electric warrior and his competitors, would be relocated to different blocks upon his return to general population.

If they gave him the green light to return. Not a certainty. And even though those inmates suspected of looking for a fight would be residing in different blocks far from Bludgeon, the possibility of conflict was still not completely eliminated. For all he knew, some moron, deemed harmless, might pluck up the courage, seek him out, and take a swing.

Then it would be a one-way trip to The Rig. Not quite the adventure Bludgeon was after.

If he was ever released from solitary confinement. That was his concern. Truth be told, this place, this isolation—it wasn't as horrible as some of the other inmates having experienced it described it to be.

Solitary confinement offered Bludgeon generous servings of peace and quiet, two valuable qualities he appreciated when lost in meditation or heavily engaged in training. Neither of these qualities were obtainable in general population. Not in abundance, anyway.

The again, it would be interesting to see if anything had changed out there during his absence. The sudden emergence of his curiosity surprised him somewhat, expecting it to be lured to more important matters. Of course, Bludgeon had been locked away in solitary confinement for a while. A long while. Perhaps too long.

Whatever the case, Maximus—or one of his little yes-mechs—would apprise Bludgeon of his situation soon enough.

His ability also allows the discovery of critical attack points, allowing him to drop weaker enemies in utter seconds, making him a master of Crystalocution.

They smashed into the window, screaming as they fell to their death.

The infiltrator slowly turned away and walked towards the cowering cybertronian behind the desk. "A-a-a drone? Who...who are you?" The target sputtered, backing away on his behind.

The assassin slowly raised a pistol. "My name is Kol...."

This will be a bit more in depth...

Okay, let's begin at the beginning.

His function will need to be either a strategist or an assassin, can't be both...reason: assassin's would need to be part strategist in order to fulfill their function where as a strategist performs just that...whether it be military strategy or defensive strategy.

Special abilities...with his stat intelligence at 9 giving him a SA of "very high intelligence" is unnecessary. You might as well drop it and keep the stat.

Explain the function of the Champion's Harpoon. Would it be something an assassin would use? And is it actually a weapon mentioned in any of the TFs continuities? The reaper's scythe...I'm not sure an assassin would carry, much less utilize, one on a mission. Too large...too awkward.

Next, the mention of him starting life out as a drone...that idea won't really work as drone are typically non-sentient and do nothing but follow orders no matter what. So the idea of him evolving from something without sentience is a bit far fetched.

Give me his top speed and range. I also want a description of his weapons and their abilities. Stick them in...well...the abilities section...go figure, right.

Moving on to what has already been mentioned in the abilities section...calculating the movements of his opponents and predicting their attacks would be way too powerful an ability. In fact it's almost, almost, similar to what Overlord is capable of doing. Now even without his strategic hindsight in predicting an enemy's attack he could still be a master of Crystalocution.

Re-work those bit and I'll have another look.

Alt. mode: Sweepcraft (Cybertronian hovercraft)
Weapons: Heat Laser, Various Fusion and Incendiary Explosive Devices, Disintegrator Cannons
Special Abilities: Capable of escape velocity; FTL-capable
Height: 33ft / 10.07m

Rank: 07

Profile: Imagine a being with no capacity for remorse, warmth, or even compassion - a being for which friendship and basic camaraderie were totally alien concept that suggested only weakness and folly. Such a being would be more monster than mechanoid, which is an accurate description of Scourge. He is a singularly merciless and unstoppable hunter and killer. Scourge's fearsome disposition and physical powers make him a virtual demigod among the Transformers, which should be enough to frighten anyone. But perhaps the most terrifying thing about him is that he represents only the smallest fraction of the strength and evil of the Decepticon Empire.

Scourge is the first of a new breed of Decepticon envisioned by Megatron: a prototype tracker/terminator meant to work alongside the Seekers as the main offensive weapon of the Decepticons, both complementing each other rather than replacing. Unlike the Seekers whom share their loyalties between Megatron, Starscream and number of other high profile Decepticons, the Sweeps were designed to be utterly loyal (some might say fanatical) in preserving Megatron and, by extension, the Decepticon Empire. Some projections indicate that the potential of "The Sweeps" is sufficient to make the Seeker design obsolete for other operations than high speed hit and run attacks, especially if Scourge's vision to make his Sweeps a pack of tracker/terminators under his own command becomes a reality. Only time will tell, but Scourge intends on testing those projections to their utmost and see the results for himself. Needless to say, this intention makes the Seekers very nervous.

Abilities: Scourge is highly intelligent. His physical strength and endurance are far greater than most of Transformers. His scanning equipment is powerful enough to trace someone or something from one end of the galaxy to the other based on the smallest traces. In sweep-craft mode, he is armed with disintegrator cannons that break down the molecular bonds of targets, dissipating them. In robot mode, he is armed with a heat laser that can turn most armor into slag, as well as a variety of fusion and incendiary explosive devices.

Weaknesses: Scourge exhibits no physical weaknesses. His only failing point is his arrogance.

Sample Pose

Sigma Draconis VII

The 'mech ran for dear life, doing everything possible to avoid the being chasing him. No, not chasing -- hunting. The 'mech was prey, and the agitated paranoia he exhibited as he shifted between robot and altmode in his ongoing efforts to evade the hunter was proof of just how frightened he was. An hour, a day, a week -- time seemed meaningless. Only survival and evasion were important.

It had been bad enough when the Decepticon invasion force swept through. Then that terminator showed up, hunting down the stragglers and survivors that hadn’t been butchered. Bargaining wouldn't work -- a couple of stragglers had learned that to their sorrow early on. Reasoning was out of the question -- another survivor had begged for mercy, only to find a slow, painful death instead. Just one look at the hunter was all the 'mech would ever need to convince himself that it was pitiless, remorseless, fearless. And it would be implacable; it would never stop -- ever -- until he was dead.

An energy blast rang out from above and behind, and the 'mech narrowly dodged out of the way in time. As it was, the energy was enough to melt a rather sizeable hole through the ruined alley wall. He glanced back over his shoulder to see if the hunter had been the one to take the shot, but he saw nothing: only darkness.

He kept running, ducking through alleyways and avoiding the main thoroughfares of the ruined Autobot outpost. He was the last remaining survivor, and had managed to avoid most of the Decepticon invasion force that had come through. But this terminator, this hunter -- he was unlike anything the 'mech had ever experienced before. He hadn't had a recharge in the week since the invasion; there had been no time, and to try and stop for any attempt at rest meant death. He was tired on so many levels -- physically, mentally, spiritually.

Suddenly, as the 'mech rounded another corner, he stopped short. Dead end. No doors, nothing to hide behind--

The faint whine of repulsors and the crunch of two feet hitting the ground behind him might as well have been a death knell to his audial receptors. He could see the silhouette of graceful, curvilinear wings extending and flexing with a prehensile quality. Slowly he turned to face the hunter, suddenly weary of it all, and called him by name.

"Scourge."

The Sweep leader emerged from the shadows, his imposing royal blue and light blue body coming into view. The malevolent glow of his crimson optics were enough for the 'mech to palpably feel the evil staring down at him. "I had wondered which would break first," he observed quietly, his gravelly voice showing little emotion. "Your body or your spirit. The answer is clear."

The 'mech's optics dimmed slightly, then brightened once more. "Do your worst," he replied, his words carrying a bravado that he didn't feel.

Scourge gazed imperiously at the 'mech, and his lips curled into a thin, cruel smile. "You have been amusing, prey. You've led me on quite the chase, but you know the truth: I could have terminated you at any point and time these past two mega-cycles. I wanted to see just how far you would push yourself before you gave up, whether it be from exhaustion or a lack of will to continue any longer."

Suddenly, the Sweep leader launched forward, clawed fingertips and arm plunging into the 'mech's chest cavity before ripping out his prey’s fuel pump. He watched the shocked and amazed look the 'mech gave him as he gurgled, then fell back as Scourge's hand pulled back out, fuel pump in hand. Liquid energon dripped from his clawed hand as he stepped back, the disintegrator cannon atop his head beginning to glow before unleashing an energy blast that obliterated the 'mech.

Looking down, Scourge examined the fuel pump for a few seconds, then slowly squeezed it in his hand, crushing it before dropping it in the dead end. Then he launched upwards on repulsors, transforming into his ovoid sweepcraft form and taking to the skies, leaving Sigma Draconis VII behind. It was time to return to Lord Megatron, and see the progress on the additional construction of more Sweeps.

Hunting alone was pleasurable. Hunting as park of a pack, that he could lead as the alpha -- that would be far better still.

You have managed to stick around long enough for getting this chance. Don't make me to regret it. ;)

Holomatter Avatar: A young, bruised up man. He is sporting sunglasses.

Profile: Cliffjumper never was one to be called patient. Courageous and eager for action, Cliffjumper always wants to be the first on the battle field. The day Megatron and the Decepticon threat became known, many Autobots were fearful and worried. Not Cliffjumper. He was ready to put those vile bots back in there place if they crossed him. This isn't to say that Cliffjumper wants the war to continue. Like his fellow Autobots, he wants nothing more than for it to cease. But, while it's still raging, giving the Decepticon's a beating is Cliffjumper's favorite pastime.

Abilities: While in his vehicle, mode Cliffjumper is a speedy, bright red, Pontiac G8. His colors often are able to draw fire from the other Autobots, towards him. This in unison with his speed makes him a valuable asset to the Autobot cause. In robot mode, he is able to fire a projectile that releases Glass Gas. This can temporarily weaken the Decepticon's metal structures, weakening them, and allowing the Autobots to get some shots in.

Weaknesses: Cliffjumper's recklessness could be the death of him. Though a loyal soldier, Cliffjumper's actions could end up in him and his fellow Autobots getting hurt. There's also the chance of the wind blowing his Glass Gas towards, him or an ally, weakening them instead of the Decepticons.

Sample Post:

"Roger that, Prime. I'm on my way!", "Cliffjumper responded to the radio signal that a patrol unit had spotted some suspicious activity down town. While the suspicious activity could have been anything, Cliffjumper had a gut feeling that it was a Decepticon scouting party that was getting too close to pinning down the location of some of his Autobot comrades. While it was more common for the Decepticons to take to the skies, he knew they had operatives on the ground.

The bright red Pontiac G8 was parked on the side of the road, his Holoavatar sitting in the driver seat with his sunglasses on remaining almost a little too still for normal humans, but most just ignored him. The holoavatar then glanced into his rear view mirror, then adjusted the side mirrors - an act of normalcy before pulling out into traffic.

Cliff' knew Decepticons had a knack for disappearing rapidly if they had been spotted so he knew he had to get across down fast. Rapidly routing the quickest path, factoring in global gps traffic and signal timing his tires squeeled as he made a sharp turn down a side street cutting off several cars before boosting down the road, switching gears as it were, as needed.

"I know, keep a low profile, you don't have to worry about me. But if the Decepticons get a beat on us, there won't be any profile to worry about!", "Cliffjumper responded back to base while taking another sharp turn, cutting off two rows off traffic which slammed on their brakes and honked their horns at him, but then burned rubber as he peeled off down the main strip. He had calculated this just right so that he would hit all the lights just as they turned green optimizing his time on the road. But Cliffjumper made a slight miscalculation with his first light, speeding through it just as it had turned red.

It didn't take long for the local authorities to respond to his reckless driving as a siren flared up behind him, and it was not Prowl. "Oh slag....", he whispered under his breath while contemplating his next move. If he pulled over, there is no way he would find the Decepticon scouts today. At the same time if he didn't pull over he would attract a lot of unwanted attention on himself. A good Autobot would pull over, regroup and try again another day. But Cliffjumper wasn't a good Autobot, nor was he going to let this opportunity go.

Cliffjumper accelerated to his maximum speed, which quickly allowed him to lose the earth vehicle behind him as he turned into a red streak shooting down the road. This also screwed up his timing of the lights now having to weave in and out of crossing traffic flawlessly, leaving only a few pedestrian vehicles to spin out unharmed - he would get scolded for that, but if he found those Decepti-creeps then it would all be worth it. Besides, the trailing authority officer could assist the pedestrians, he thought to himself.

A screech of the tires as they skidded around, brakes behind applied as Cliffjumper spun down an alleyway racing towards the suspected Decepticon scouting patrols area. "Ah ha!", he shouted to himself as he saw a Decepticon motorcycle slowly creeping along an adjacent side street. Punching it to maximum speed, Cliffjumper raced down the aleey, at the last minute switching his headlights on to full beam and blaring his horn as he t-bonded the Decepticon motorcycle causing him to spin out of control and crash into the side of a dumpster, denting it. "Take that Decepticon!", he yelled out before he rolled his bright red Pontiac G8 form back a few feed an surveyed a small bike gang of Decepticons which had now all turned their wheels and headlights towards his direction.

"What are you looking at, Decepti-creeps!?", he quickly yelled and revved his engine forward in a threatening motion towards the squad. The sirens of the police car, still hot on his trail. his holoavatar smirked behind that glass. "You punks hear that? That's Prowl. And guess what, he's got Prime with him. But you only have to worry about them if any of you survive long enough against me!"

While his bravado was true, Prowl and Prime were not on the way for back up - that was merely a bluff. The Decepticons would either turn tail and run, he thought to himself as he engine idled aggressively towards them revving it twice more or he would take as many Decepticons down with him as he could. With that, his tires squealed again as he peeled out, leaving skid marks behind him before charging the squad. "Whatcha got!?"
