Height: 37ft.
Motto: “Wars a dirty business, and I’m as dirty as they come.”

Courage: 10
Firepower: 8
Accuracy: 8
Melee: 8
Tech Skill: 6
Charisma: 7
Rank: 8

Profile:
The fact that Roadbuster has made himself into a walking weapons arsenal is a testament to his only true passion: combat. He’s bored out of his mind if he’s not in the middle of a heated firefight, so much so that he becomes uncharacteristically quiet and withdrawn if he hasn’t fought in a while. Roadbuster only feels alive when he’s heading to a battle, fighting on the battlefield or just stepping away from another victory. He starts to perk up immediately when planning for a mission and then truly starts to shine once the bullets and plasma blasts start flying. He’s fearless and unconventional fighter who won’t hesitate to launch a surprise attack on unsuspecting Decepticons, just to pass the time. Roadbuster’s intense determination and charismatic quips during battle inspire other Autobots; he’s always there to motivate the troops when they need it most. He’s such a natural leader and fighter that some Autobots are concerned about what he’ll do after the war is finally over. They wonder, secretly, if death in battle might be the only thing that saves Roadbuster from a melancholy lifetime of looking back at his glory days.

Weapons and Abilities:
Roadbuster has above-average intelligence, and great physical strength and endurance. He’s an excellent solider and field commander. In his vehicle mode, he can traverse the roughest terrain at speeds up to 65 mph, with range of 600 miles. He’s armed with a powerful laser-targeted cannon in this mode as well as a series of explosive and smoke canisters (all useable in his robot mode). As a robot, he has a shoulder-mounted shrapnel rocket launcher that is self-targeting and has a 360 degree attack range. He’s also armed with a rapid-fire automatic rifle that fires armor-piercing rounds.

Weaknesses:
Subject is physically very powerful, but he is prone to wearing down his weapons through overuse. His desire for combat sometimes causes him jump into a battle before thinking through the consequences.

Approved. Enjoy! :D

Appearance: Slipstream is a seeker, although her frame differs considerably from most other seekers. Her wings jut up on her back, reaching well over her head. Her vertical tails lie just beneath them in robot mode, giving her a sort of butterfly wing like appearance. Her primary colors are purple on most of her body with teal wings and legs. She is somewhat slimmer and less angular then another seekers. Her alternate mode is a sleek cybertronian fighter.

Profile: Slipstream is a Decepticon of many faces. Her whole attitude and personality change to fit whatever situation or other mechanoid she is with. She does this to get to know the other being better, to gain their trust and confidence, making it all the easier to later use them to her own ends. Whether it be plotting pranks with Skywarp or dutifully assisting Shockwave in an experiment she will play the part perfectly.

Secretly however Slipstream detests almost every other Transformer alive, Autobot and Decepticon. Her arrogance makes her look down on her fellow Decepticons as little more than thugs and hooligans while her cruelty makes her view the Autobots as naïve fools. She hides these feelings perfectly behind her act, making sure that almost no other Transformer knows what she truly thinks of them until it is too late. The lone exception to this is Soundwave, who she openly detests. Seeing as how he can read her mind she feels no need to put on an act towards him.

In the early days of the war she worked as a research assistant to one of Cybertron’s top rocket scientists. This scientist, while nominally remaining neutral in the war, was gradually leaning more and more towards the Autobots. Slipstream smiled and played along as the dutiful assistant, but secretly began cultivating contacts among the Decepticons. The Autobots were far too weak and naïve for her liking. The Decepticons might be mostly a bunch of thugs, but they were strong and didn’t cling to foolish beliefs.

The scientist at last achieved a breakthrough. He had created a miniaturized transwarp drive, small enough to be installed in a single transformer. It would allow near instant teleportation across vast distances. He began planning to donate the device to the Autobot cause concurrent with his pledge to join them. Slipstream worked fast to change his mind, telling him it needed to be tested before being presented to the Autobots. She pleaded with him to be the first test subject, as she had worked long and hard by his side and was the only one who could be trusted with it. Reluctantly he agreed and installed the engine inside of the femme. After a successful test Slipstream’s face twisted into a cruel smile as she produced a gun and executed the scientist. She quickly laid waste to the entire lab, destroying every trace of his work, cackling the entire time. She then transformed and flew away, bound for her Decepticon contact where she would pledge herself and her new ability to the Decepticon cause.

Abilities: In both jet and robot modes Slipstream is armed with two standard arm mounted laser cannons. In jet mode she is also equipped with twin heat seeking missiles. She is a highly skilled, acrobatic and swift aerial combatant, capable of reaching escape velocity from a planet. Her most powerful ability is her built in experimental transwarp engine. The engine allows her to essentially teleport from one place to another nearly instantaneously. The ability can be used to teleport short distances, like behind and opponent, or distances as great as from one star system to another. The ability is highly fuel intensive. Repeat usage or transwarping great distances can rapidly deplete her energy reserves. Slipstream requires precise coordinates, a detailed map or schematic for transwarping to any place she can not directly see or she risks becoming lodged inside of something. She can use the engine in either mode. Typically she will use it to jump into a mapped out enemy base or position to gain further information, conduct some elaborate sabotage or simply shoot the place up, and then jump out before anyone knew she was there.

Weaknesses: Slipstream is not a terribly powerful opponent in hand to hand combat, not being very strong or tough. When found in melee battle she will either retreat or rely on assistance of a cultivated ally. Use of her transwarp engine can rapidly deplete her fuel reserves.

Approved. I believe she was last seen in the Sol System. So, you can start her on the Thanatos. Have fun with her! :D

Profile: Blackthorn is not your stereotypical lone wolf sniper kind of bot. He's sarcastic, prone to laugh and just generally enjoys the company of his fellow Autobots more than anything else in his life. However, once duty calls, and his abilities are required, Blackthorn's focus can't be broken. Once he is assigned an objective, he will stop at nothing to achieve it; this, however can put him at odds sometimes with his fellows Autobots. While Blackthorn has a high sense of morality, and he would never do anything to harm innocents or his companions, he isn't exactly prone to show mercy to any Decepticon that's unlucky enough to be on the other end of his scope. Some would call him dirty, others would call him ruthless. He prefers to see himself as pragmatic.

Since Blackthorn was a protoform, it was obvious he wasnt going to be the strongest or toughest of bots. He has always been weak compared to his friends and peers, so he focused on perfecting his accuracy so he would never have to be in the thick of combat. If you need someone to infiltrate an enemy base, to snipe decepticons from miles away before they even know someone is attacking them or the tell a joke during a tense situation, he is your bot; if you need someone to do heavy lifting, he can help, but try not to set your bar too high, or you will end up dissapointed.

However, his expertise and preference for ranged combat and stealth doesn't make him a coward. He would put his life on the line for any of his friends that needed him, and he would face Megatron himself in melee combat if it meant protecting someone. It's just that he is very aware of his limitations, and knows that he is far more useful when he is as far away as his sniper rifle allows him.

Abilities: In Robot mode, Blackthorn is armed with a custom made sniper rifle, allowing him to take high powered shots from long distances, wreaking havoc on the enemy lines. In his alt mode, he transforms into a 2015 black Mazda 6, capable of reaching up to 249 mph. His slender frame gives him great mobility and dexterity, allowing him to defend himself through acrobacy and maneuverability if he ever finds himself cornered in hand to hand combat with an enemy. He also has an energy knife to defend himself in melee combat, but it's an extreme last resort option. Blackthorn is also adept at infiltration and sabotaging missions, his dexterity allowing him move stealthily and fast, perfect for high risk objectives.

Weaknesses: Blackthorn isn't completely useless in melee combat, but he's really close to being it. And the amount of punishment he can dish is inversely proportional to the amount of damage he can take.

Sample Post:

It had been around 8 or 9 cycles since Blackthorn last moved from his position, the rocks and foliage around him masking him, enveloping in a perfect camouflage of shadows and dirt. The chirping of the nocturnal birds echoing throughout the mountains, as he patiently waited for his objective, a Decepticon convoy. He had to admit, these kind of missions usually got boring after a few cycles, with no one to talk or joke around, but he had his orders, and he knew he was one of the best around for the job; if he had to wait until the end of times to accomplish his objective, he would.

Finally, he saw movement through his scope, 3 Decepticons moving in fast, a few miles north of him. Usually, a 3 on 1 fight wouldn't be exactly easy, even for a sniper like him. But that was the key word, usually. This time, he had a little surprise in store; after all, Decepticons deserved only the best of surprises.

He adjusted his scope, absorbing every little detail he could from his distant enemies. Their movements, their weaponary, their colors, their faces. Every single detail that he could observe, every single detail that could give him an opening, an advantage. After allowing the Decepticons to get a little close, he fired his sniper rifle, a shot going a few meters wide of the decepticons. He shuckled, imagining what must have gone through the mind of those pieces of junks. They probably thought that a really incompetent sniper was firing at them. Or well, they would have thought that had it not been for the fact that Blackthorn hadn't missed. He had hit perfectly the explosives he concealed on the mountain, causing a massive rockslide that buried the decepticons under tons of rubble.

Satisfied, Blackthorn grabbed his sniper rifle, satisfied with another job accomplished.

This looks good. Nice sample. Approved. Post his profile, minus the sample, in the Custom Autobots section and then make an entry in the Roll Call thread. You can start him on one of the Autobot ships (Guardian or Ark-22) which are both located in the Solar System forum. You could also have him be a new arrival that came along on the Trion when Grimlock and the Dinobots commandeered that ship from the Alpha Shipyards a while back. Although, there's not much happening on the Trion right now, so it's probably better to start off on either the Ark or Guardian. More players to interact with on those ships.

Anyway, have fun with him and welcome to the RPG! :D

Motto: ""I fight for the honor of those whom the Decepticons crush under their pathetic heel.""
Weapon: Star Saber Sword
Overbite

Allegiance: Decepticons
Function: Undersea Terminator
Alt. Mode: Amphibious Shark Creature
Weapons: Freeze beam blaster.
Height: 26 ft / 7.93 m
Quote: “There are only two kinds of creatures, predator and prey.”

Strength: 7
Intelligence: 7
Dexterity: 9 in water, 6 as robot, 2 in shark mode on land
Speed: 5
Endurance: 7
Courage: 7
Firepower: 6
Accuracy: 8
Melee: 8
Tech. Skill: 5
Charisma: 5
Rank: 6

Profile: A menacing, mechanical monster whose presence makes any body of water unsafe for swimming --or anything else-- Overbite is just about the most dangerous creature ever to prowl the ocean depths. And perhaps he's the most obsessed, as well, for he sees his life as an endless quest for prey. As soon as he finishes off one victim, he goes hunting for another. But as much as he enjoys his work, he looks to occasionally take time off to amuse himself. For fun he chomps holes into the sides of oil tankers and sinks cruise ships. As Overbite likes to point out, "The only thing better than swimming through an oil slick is swimming through an oil slick full of drowning fleshlings."

Abilities: In shark mode, Overbite is virtually unbeatable in underwater combat. His attack is unrelenting. His teeth and talons can tear through the hull of a battleship. His liquid cooled, turbo-powered 3,500 horsepower engine propels him through the water at up to 70 knots. He never needs to surface, except for regular maintenance checkups. He carries a freeze beam blaster that can trap any underwater prey in a block of ice. He can transform to an amphibious weapons-base mode, in which he can create tidal waves by wagging his tail at super speed. His front end converts to a jawbreaker cannon, which shoots powerful metal-eating, salt-based corrosives.

Weaknesses: Although virtually unbeatable underwater in shark mode, Overbite is quite literally like a fish out of water in robot mode on land. There he is slow, awkward and relatively weak. Needless to say, he prefers to remain swimming.

Sample Post: Deep Atlantic

He could smell it. The stench of the human sub was unmistakable. Overbite had been following its tracks for two hours. Two hours. Two hours of following this smell. He didn't like humans or following them. A lot more slippy than Cybertronian prey.

Fortunately, it wasn't much longer now. He had to catch up to get the target within. How dare they think they could take technology that was rightfully Lord Megatron's! As he approached, he could see the submarines was moving steadily. Too bad they wasn't faster than him. Too bad for them, that is.

He lunged forward, coming inches from the middle sub's art section before quickly veering upwards. He made a wide, yet rapid arc to meet the target center. His jaws opened as he caught the hull. His teeth ripped through the metal and the force of him hitting it at high speeds combined with the punctures snapped the human sub in half.

Overbite let the pieces in his mouth go as he swam between the halves, allowing the remains sink. This wasn't the prey he was looking for he knew. He throttled up again as the second sub was turning to defend the final submarine.

Two torpedoes shot from the forward tubes at the Decepticon. He grinned, quickly converting to humanoid form with his gun ready. He dodged the first torpedo, but the second one he fired a beam at. The water's temperature fell as the laser cut through to the projectile, encasing it in a block of ice.

He swam towards the block of ice, taking it into his hands. Quickly, he redirected the block with force towards the second submarine. He watched long enough for the ice to contact its target before returning to shark mode. The sound of an explosion told Overbite that his second prey was gone.

He relocated his final prey, his primary target. Care was needed to get this one. He quickly towards the last submarine, jaws open. As he reached its aft, he matched speed with the back of it in his mouth. Slowly, he crunched down and tore the back away. His claws grabbed the reminder, with one tearing through to get the spherical object he sought. He had captured his prey. He swam away, contacting Snap Trap to meet with Tentakil, then to get his next target.

Weapon: Railgun
Sid said I didn't need to do samples anymore, but Powerglide didn't have a profile of his own. :(

Powerglide

Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Warrior
Alternate Modes: A10 Thunderbolt
Weapons: Concussion Bombs, Machine Gun (jet mode only), Thermal Cannon
Special Abilities: Flight in robot mode
Height: 25 ft / 7.62 m
Quote: "To stop me, you have to catch me first."

Strength: 3
Intelligence: 7
Dexterity: 9
Speed: 8
Endurance: 7
Courage: 8
Firepower: 6
Accuracy: 7
Melee: 5
Tech Skill: 6
Charisma: 5
Rank: 5

Profile:
While majority of Autobots lack the ability to fly, Powerglide proudly flaunts the fact that he's a master of aviation. His desire to impress with his abilities and dazzling aerobatics doesn't stop at his ground-bound friends in the Autobots, though; he's more than happy to show of in front of his Decepticon foes. He's a consummate showman, and he will make every aerial combat "performance" a memorable one by taunting his enemies with an incessant stream of quips and insults. Although he's friendly and quick-witted, Powerglide is also a bit of an egotist who demands appreciation for his abilities. In truth, he's justt trying to overcome his own insecurities, but without facing them directly. He feels worthless if his talent is not acknowledged by other 'bots.

Abilities:
Powerglide has above average intelligence and is an excellent pilot. He has incredible maneuverability and is capable of flight in any kind of atmosphere, no matter how thick and regarless of weather conditions or chemical composition. Powerglide can cruise at 500 mph but can increase power output to speed up to 3200 mph for short periods of time. He's armed with concussion bombs and a standard machine gun, along with a thermal cannon. He can fly in robot mode through the use of his leg mounted thrusters.

Weaknesses:
Powerglide has low strength in robot mode and his overconfidence about his aerial abilities often gets him into more trouble than he can handle.

Well, now Powerglide does have a profile of his own. Approved. You can post it in the Autobots profile section and then start him on one of the 'Bot ships in Sol. Enjoy! :D

Profile: Quickslinger from protoform stage knew she wanted to be the best gun on Cybertron. She trained herself to shoot and shed her previous name in favor for one that better suited her preferred profession. Soon, in her little village she lived in, she was the best. She decided that she just had to continue to prove her skill, moving to Iacon to show off there. Not being any jobs worth her while, she took to the streets as a vigilante. When the war broke out, she joined up with the Autobots, figuring she could show off her skills on the front lines and still use them in a good way. Quickslinger is cocky and loves to show off, which at times puts her at odds with other Autobots. She believes in Optimus Prime's freedom for all, but would prefer to have those she helps know that she deserves the credit for what she has done. Even with her desire to be given due attention for what she does, Quickslinger would never step over the line of taking credit for others' work. She just wants others to know what in particular she is good at and what good she's done. What's so wrong with that?

Abilities: Quickslinger claims she is the best sharpshooter for a reason, her quick draw and ability to accurately hit a target is unmatched by most normal soldiers. She's quick to her pistols which are holstered to her hips. Her Ionic shotgun sprays where she's aiming with ionized energy pellets, weakening the systems of those that are impacted by sending ionic overloads into them.

Her secret weapon is her Microscopic Internal Multi-targeting System. With this, she's able to select multiple targets with microscopic precision, whether these targets are multiple bots or multiple spots on a single bot. This system sends a firing pattern to Quickslinger's mental processor, telling her exactly where to aim and what firing pattern to use.

Weaknesses: She's extraordinarily cocky, to the point of overconfidence. Her bragging nature may make her difficult to be around. She has been known to shoot out her weapons' energies. Also, her Microscopic Internal Multi-targeting System decreases at ranges beyond fifteen yards and her close-up skills are merely "okay", making her more of a liability than a help in a hand to hand fight.

The MIMS also has a limit of seven different targets and takes a couple of seconds to lock all sights on a particular bullseye, calculate a firing pattern, and send this info to her processor. This makes her either rely on skill to shoot in a split second situation or shoot wildly without direction if she was banking on her targeting system at that moment to take control.

Sample Post: Quickslinger and her partner laid flat against the building. Around the corner was the enemy squad. Five 'Cons, five targets. They had their backs turned away from wall, not seeing Quickslinger peek around to report this.

"Alright, I'll run over to the other building across the way and hide behind the wall," Quickslinger told her partner. "We can cause a little diversion and catch them in a crossfire."

"How? The odds aren't very balanced."

Quickslinger grinned. "Too bad for them." She checked her weapons, before turning around. "Make sure your weapons are ready to go hot." Before her partner could reply, she cocked hers and ran swiftly across the street.

He tried calling out after Quickslinger, but he didn't succeed in getting her attention. He did, however, get the attention of two of the Decepticons. One whispered something to the squad commander before gesturing to the other 'Con to follow. Both soldiers slowly and carefully walked down the street towards the alley Quickslinger's partner was hiding in.

Once they got into Quickslinger's vision, she mentally had her systems lock four crosshairs on the targets, one for each of their heads and in the center of each one's back. Within a second of her crosshairs locking in red, her hands went down to whip out her pistols, hitting each point she targeted upon firing. Both fell to the ground. She grinned as she looked over to her trembling partner, mouthing out "You're welcome."

Her attention immediately turned to around the corner where the other three targets were approaching. Quickslinger sighed and jumped into the street, turning off her autotargeting and firing on her own. Three targets hit, but only one enough to go down. The other ones dove for cover as Quickslinger continued to fire. After a couple more seconds and her pistols overheated. She made a break for her partner's cover point as the Decepticons returned fire.

"Well, I got one and injured the others," Quickslinger glared at her partner. "By myself, I may add. You're very much welcome." She holstered her pistols, thinking.

Her partner spoke up. "We should wait to they stop firing. They may get stupid and check around the corner."

Quickslinger grinned. "And we'll be waiting with guns ready to fire." She reached around to her back and grabbed her shotgun, while her partner got ready to fire his weapon. They soon heard the gun fire stop.

"Shhh..." Quickslinger's partner whispered out.

She turned briefly to glare at him before return her attention to the faint sound of metallic stepping. She checked to make sure her shotgun was ready to fire. The first 'Con pokes his head around the corner. BANG! Quickslinger saw full force of the pellets plow into the Decepticon's face. He feel to the ground, if not killed by the blast, now for sure blinded, deaf, and mute as the charge of the weapon's payload overloaded these systems.

The other 'Con stepped back as Quickslinger rounded the corner, blasting away. Two or three shots it took before they caused him to go down. She turned to her partner again. "Once again, I did all the work."

He frowned, pointing to the holes in her armor she was now becoming aware of, causing her to fall to the ground. "Ow."

He sighed. "Team 2 to base. Requesting medvac."

Profile: Hailing from the waning days of Sentinel Prime, the 'Bot that became Indygo in many ways is still an embodiment of everything wrong with the Autobots from that era. She looks down upon Cybertronians that she views as inferior. This includes working bots, the rank-and-file, and just about anyone with a 'lowly' job.

Indygo bemoans the 'loss' of the ideals of old. She believes that Optimus Prime has corrupted her once 'great' faction. All her faction needs is capable leadership to bring it back to its former glory. To Indygo, she is that 'Bot.

This ambition channels her every action. However, the assassin isn't stupid. She knows that the Autobots won't change instantly, nor will they accept such a drastic change. So she is whatever she has to be. For all intents and purposes, Indygo is an upstanding Autobot, the best they have to offer. That is part that she is willing to play as she slowly prods her faction, allowing herself to climb the ladder to the top.

To further her goals, Indygo isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. She isn't afraid to do whatever is necessary. To that end, she has become adept at manipulation. Manipulation of events, bots, items, anything that benefits her. That being said, Indygo knows when to cut her losses and run. She sees no shame in retreat. People who are close to her are never safe.

For Decepticons, Indygo has a particular hate. To her, they are directly responsible for the corruption of her great and noble faction. To the assassin, she would love nothing more to see each and every one of them to die, miserable, horrible deaths. It's in this one area that Indygo cannot hide or act her way out.

Abilities: Indygo is a skilled assassin. She has advanced training in hand-to-hand and bladed combat. To deal some foes, she make sure use of small explosive devices, controlled by a detonator in her palm. She is very agile, quick on her feet. Indygo possesses a personal cloaking device that allows her to become invisible to the optic and mask her transponder signal, but nothing more. For locked doors, she has above average lock picking and door hacking skills. Indygo's claws arm made of highly refined materials, allowing her to cut through armor in her alt mode and grip surfaces for climbing. They're also magnetized, allowed her to scale metal surfaces with ease. She is a skilled manipulator, with a quick tongue and a habit of figuring out who people and bots are and what they want.

Weaknesses: Indygo possesses weak armor and physical strength. She cannot operate without the element of surprise, or in open combat. Her cloaking device simply hides her from visual view, as well as her transponder. Any deeper scan can and will reveal her. If she wants to transform, use her gun, or come into contact with electronic equipment while using her cloak, Indygo must drop the cloak or the cloak will burn out. Indygo possesses no long-range abilities or weapons, which means she could be cut down from long distance. She lives in her own warped view of the universe and how it works. This distortion affects her judgement and vulnerable to manipulation.

Sample Post: Military Outpost

Her target was in that building. Indygo didn't believe it. She knew it. Just now wasn't the time to strike.

Time passed. Two cycles, three. Finally, the guards changed shifts. The dark blue assassin activated her cloak and dropped down.

Clink.

Indygo cringed, but no one heard her hit the ground too hard. She crept inside. The guard change completed moments later, leaving her alone in the corridor.

The cloak dropped and she shifted into her feline form. Indygo silently crept onto the wall and slowly made her way through the structure. She eventually found a door.

Ah ha.

She dropped down, changing back into robot mode and dropping the cloak. She slowly approached the keypad and pried off the cover. Her optics studied the circuits for a moment.

"Who are you?"

Indygo jumped back and turned to the source of the voice. It was a guard, holding a pistol at her. The assassin relaxed, sending an emergency signal to someone just outside the base.

She put her hands up and smiled, her optics searching the guard for a weak spot. "Hello, sir. I'm sorry. I was working on this panel. Something wrong with a circuit control."

"I'll have to call this in," the guard said. He was confused. Confident, but confused. That confidence evaporated as the base rocked from an explosion on the opposite side of the outpost.

Backup, good. Indygo thought.

She used the distraction to activate her cloak. The guard looked back at where she was, surprised. The assassin maneuvered behind the guard and pulled her gun from its holster. Indygo dropped her cloak and whispered in his audio receptor. "I'm sorry."

The shot wasn't heard, but the effect was evident when the hapless soldier dropped with a hole square in the back of his head.

Another explosion. Before the third blast, she had door open. Indygo slipped through the base, not attracting attention.

Twelve astro-minutes later, Indygo reached her target. The small administrator was holed up in the centralmost room with two more guards watching him. The guards were easy. The target was dead just moments later.

Another explosion burst open the walls. Indygo looked up to see her partner, a large grey and green bot with a rocket launcher on his shoulder. He entered the room. "Indy, did we get 'em?"

Indygo smiled at him and pointed to the dead administrator. "See for yourself."

The large guy looked at the dead 'Bot and studied him, a smile forming on his faceplate until he saw the red badge on the body. His smile was quickly replaced by a look of horror. "No. No no no no. Y-you d-didn't tell m-me that w-we were killing fellow Autobots!"

"Now now, my dear friend." Indygo's expression didn't change. "I really hoped you wouldn't see it like that."

There were shouts, and the dead guards comms lit up. Reinforcements were in their way, and her partner was raising his weapon and aiming it at her. A simple press of a button, and instead of the launcher firing at her, it instead exploded, vaporizing his head.

Indygo silently placed he pistol on the body of her former partner and transformed, activating her cloak and making a slow and steady retreat. Three planetary turns later, and the planet fell to the Decepticons, which lead to a major victory for the Autobot Alliance four weeks later. One more piece out of her way.

Profile: Redline can come across as extremely abrasive. He is highly narcissistic. He prides himself on his abilities and combat prowess. If someone says anything disparaging about that, he flies into a rage and can become violent. Despite how self-assured he seems to be, Redline is actually quite envious of others and craves their approval. More than just rage, disparaging remarks actually hurt him a great deal.

Despite that, he’s fairly honest even if the honesty is horrendously blunt. He pulls no punches. He likes to play fast and loose with the rules, caring more about whether the assignment is entertaining or not rather than the morality or consequences of his actions during a mission. While he can be honest about others and situations, the one mech he lies to the most is himself. He’s very good at it and is able to convince himself that going down his self-destructive path is fine, claiming he’d rather go out in a blaze of glory than waste away in the doldrums of duty and honor.

On the flip side, Redline can come across as something of a charming devil. He puts on a show for others, and often acts impulsively, having this craving for excitement. He lies, he cheats, and he twists others to exploit them and get what he wants whether that just be praise and admiration or something more. As such, his dealings with others are generally quite insincere even if it appears otherwise. He’s capable of caring about others. He simply doesn’t care to care as its costs outweigh its benefits.

If anything is certain about Redline, it is that he always speaks his mind, consequences and authority be slagged.

Even before the war, traces of Redline’s abrasive personality shone through. He was a political activist once as well as a news anchor. However, both landed him in trouble. Taken to the institute to remedy his troublesome ways through Empurata, Redline’s troublesome behaviors were resolved in a fashion, but the issues with his personality were only amplified even more.

Signing on with the police force after his career in the news had abruptly ended, Redline began to accrue combat experience. As a cop, he was about as dirty as they come. He had many dealings with the underworld, especially with regards to drugs, as well as being paid to look the other way or doing a bit of his own dealing or wet-work for unsavory parties such as certain senators. He worked the system and maintains that those who don’t or can’t deserve what they get.

He joined with the Autobots, more because of the friends and allies that he’d come to know rather than the ideals involved. He later joined the Wreckers after being busted for substance abuse again. He figured that he would get a “clean” adrenaline kick from being part of the Wrecker’s unorthodox suicide squad.

Abilities: For better or worse, one of Redline’s greatest assets his is mouth (figuratively). Whether it be through charm, taunts, or otherwise, he has a talent for manipulation. Additionally, Redline is equipped with a sizeable armament. At a base level, his claws are a great weapon. Their vice-like grip can be the bane of many a foe, but even without a foe in his grasp, his claws make excellent puncturing weapons with enough sheer force behind it.

In addition to his bare claws, Redline sports a variety of bombs, dual lasers, and a gatling gun which he can use in either mode. His physical armament is impressive but so is his battle experience. A veteran of many battles and having gotten out of many a difficult situation, Redline’s experience is what best steers him through combat.

In alternate mode, Redline can reach speeds nearing Mach 1. However, he lacks the maneuverability of other fliers with lighter frames.

Weaknesses: Despite his talent for manipulation, Redline also a bit vulnerable to it as well. He may be aware that he is being manipulated or goaded, but he lacks impulse control and so often falls prey to such tactics. His abrasive personality does not make Redline much of a team player, preferring to go it alone or disobey orders when he thinks it would suit him better. It’s not so much that he hates the team so much as issues with certain leadership styles. He does not like to be reined in. Additionally, his substance abuse can have unpleasant side effects during critical moments.

Sample Post:

Sky Lynx

It was the constant yammering that roused him out of his somewhat peaceful slumber. A solitary blue optic onlining, Redline slowly rolled it around, taking in his surroundings. Hm. This looked…like…a CR chamber. The inside of one anyhow. He was no stranger to it. The thing that puzzled him was that he didn’t immediately recognize what was on the outside of the CR chamber. Didn’t look right for Cas Collar’s medical bay.

Redline tapped the CR chamber’s glass, expecting the door to open at his prompting. But no. In fact. Everything was extraordinarily quiet. What the frag was going on? Scraping at the door as best he could, he glanced out again. It was abandoned in here. Then who had been talking earlier?

“Hey. Hey! Anyone out there?” he called from inside his chamber. He waited for a few long moments growing impatient. “Well, frag this.”

Reeling back as far as he could given how little room there was in the chamber, Redline hurled his clenched claw at the glass.

KRRRKK!

Cracks formed. Good. He did it again. And again. And again. Until finally, the glass burst, spilling the nanite rich liquid and Redline out onto the floor of wherever he was. Picking himself up and shaking off as much of the liquid from his body as he could, Redline looked around.

“Helllooooooo?! Anybody home?!”

Well done. Approved. Rank 5. You can start her on one of the Autobot ships in Sol.

Each explosive has a small camouflage unit to allow it to blend into the material it is attached to.

If she wants to transform, use her gun, or come into contact with electronic equipment while using her cloak, Indygo must drop the cloak or it will burn out.

Looks good. Approved. Rank 5. Have fun with him! :D

Okay, this looks pretty good. Just a couple of things to tweak here before I can approve it.

First, I noticed that you took 6 stat points off for the cloaking device. Lets make that 7 points. You can choose where to shave off that extra point.

Now, the other issue is the camo ability on Indygo’s small explosive devices. The camo, itself, which allows the explosives to blend in to their surroundings is fine as is. However, making them invisible to scanners, as well, I think is a bit too much. So, lets remove that part.

Make those above changes and then re-post the app and I’ll have another look at it.

Each explosive has a small camouflage unit to allow it to blend into the material it is attached to.

If she wants to transform, use her gun, or come into contact with electronic equipment while using her cloak, Indygo must drop the cloak or it will burn out.

Approved. Rank 5. Enjoy! :D

Profile: Twintwist is a wild scrapper with an untamed and perhaps uncontrollable, nature. Other autobots are horrified by the ways in which Twintwist revels in the senseless destruction, like stomping around a destroyed building or parading around with parts of a destroyed decepticon. He absolutely can't think of anything more pleasing than the feeling of shredding something to pieces with his twin drills. His unchecked fury is often considered a liability, but the berserker side of his nature has helped him become one of the Autobots elite commandos. He and his brother Topspin share a branched spark.

Abilities: Subject has great strength and above average endurance. As a jumpstarter he can transform between modes in a fraction of an earth second. His diamond tipped drills can spin as fast as 6,000 rpm; they can penetrate almost any substance. He can travel at 200 mph in his vehicle mode. In robot mode is armed with a semi-automatic cannon that lobs shells with the explosive capacity of 100lbs. of TNT.

Weaknesses: Subject has no outstanding physical weaknesses, but his recklessness can test anyone's patience.

Approved. Since this character, along with Topspin, have not been played in over 2 years, they are now fair game. Twin Twist was last seen on the Ark-22. So, you can start him there. Have fun with him! :D

Profile: Topspin is a rugged Adventurer who is as interested in conquering rough supposedly impassable terrain as battling the decepticons. He looks at a mountain range as a personal challenge and refuses to be stopped by any obstacle in his path. In fact, topspin thinks that defeating a particularly rough passage is even more satisfying than defeated a decepticon foe. After all a decepticon is a decepticon, but single handedly besting nature itself is another matter entirely. He and his brother Twintwist share a branched spark.

Abilities: Subject has above average strength and intelligence, as a jumpstarter subject is able to transform between modes in a fraction of an astrosecond. in hovercraft mode he can reach speeds of 300mph and travel over most terrain with ease. He can reach a height of 500ft in this mode and also use his pontoons to travel over water at speeds of 80mph. He has 2 wing mounted laser cannons and two high voltage hand mounted electric cannons, all of these are useable in both modes. In robot mode he also wields a powerful particle beam cannon.

Weaknesses: Topspin's jet engines drain energy at a significant rate. His desire to conquer new terrain can distract him from immediate threats like Decepticons.

Profile: "If there's a blazing fire, Inferno is going to be one of the first bots on the scene, rushing in headlong without regard for his own safety to rescue anyone trapped inside. If there's a blazing firefight Inferno will also be one of the first bots on the scene, and probably even faster than the previous scenario.
"Few bots are as gung-ho as Inferno, whose heat-resistant body and seeming lack of fear make him a tough customer in any kind of emergency. He certainly prefers the thrill of gunning down Decepticons over tackling a four-alarm fire, but he doesn't let his thirst for battle interfere with his duty as a rescue bot.”

[-TFWiki, Inferno (G1)]

On Cybertron, Inferno was the top search and rescue mech either side had during the war. He has a great care for his team mates and other species, and has no problem putting himself in harms way for others; an ideal trait for his particular field. Unlike some medics and rescuers though, Inferno has no personal objections or pacsifist agendas about entering a hot combat zone or engaging the enemy in battle. In fact, he prefers to scrap a few Decepticons while ensuring the safety of others.

While new to Earth, Inferno is eager to learn the culture and whatever is necessary to protect the human populace from the war his Autobots have brought to this world, and to stomp a few Decepticons as well.

Abilities: In vehicular mode, Inferno has all the capabilities of a normal Earth fire truck. In robot mode, Inferno's strength is among the greatest of the Autobots. His ceramic-plated armored external makes him resistant to temperatures of up to 8000 C.

His extinguisher rifle not only shoots a stream of flame-suppressing foam, but can also stop beams of various types of electromagnetic radiation with its own energy-damping beam. (When used in combat can rapidly drain an enemy's shields or personal energon levels.)

By retracting his hands, he can use his forearms to launch short-range surface-to-air missiles. They are more effective for ground combat and demolition of blockades rather than defense against ariel assailants.

Inferno's holomatter avatar is that of a rather tall human male. This human refers to himself as Firefighter Daniels. He is dressed head to toe in traditional black rubber firefighter garbs. Mr. Daniels is bald with a scrappy beard, has blue eyes, and is in his mid thirties.

Weaknesses: Inferno isn't too good at following orders, which can lead to problems in performing his job as well as on the battlefield. His particular configuration makes him one of the least mobile of the Autobots when he's in robot mode.

Sample Post:

Longevity - Bridge:

Inferno entered the bridge of the ship where several other Wreckers were. It was good to be back. However, it wasn’t good to have missed a slagging fight.

“Ah fragging Primus, this is great,” was the first thing that came out of Inferno’s mouth after had been asleep for a while in the CR chamber, “I missed a lot, haven’t I? Which century is this?”

Inferno walked across the room and looked out into space,

“Is that Omega Supreme? Here? Frag, I’ve been gone for a while, haven’t I? My apologies.”
