Profile:

Before the war, during the days of the Clampdown, Chromedome (then under a different name) was a mechaforensic scientist in the police force. The poor bugger was nicknamed "Unlucky" because he had to work with Prowl, the most anal, full-autopsy loving officer of all time. Chromedome had a strong interest in mnemosurgery, the science of hacking into Transformer minds and "reading" their memories, and was fascinated by the conspiracy theories of the Institute.

Chromedome and Prowl investigated the assassination of Senator Sherma and backtracked his whereabouts to the posh Translucentica Heights. Unfortunately, the killer had struck again before they arrived! Chromedome attempted to chase down a suspect, who perished in a fiery crash. Their discovery of a second killer was of equally limited help, and the pair investigated a nearby Relinquishment Clinic under which they found a secret facility Chromedome believed to be the Institute. The evidence they found helped uncover a bomb plot.

After the group came up with a counter-plan, Chromedome borrowed a replica Matrix from Ironfist. At Prowl's insistence, Orion left Chromedome out of the main part of the plan, instead assigning him with Roller to guard Pax's senator friend at a safe house. Unfortunate the safe house was attacked by Senate thugs, and by the senator had already been taken by the time Pax dug Chromedome out of the rubble. He led Pax to the Institute he had found earlier, only to find it deserted.

By the time the war had started, Chromedome had fulfilled his dreams of becoming a mnemosurgeon. His unique talents were required quite often, to the point that he began to resent them and became cynical over their use. Many things he had to do during wartime were things that, in hindsight, he would regret. Eventually, Chromedome was on the verge of suicide due to the immense burden of his abilities and the terrible side-effects they had on his own mental health. It was then, at his lowest point, that he went to a Relinquishment Clinic to end it and, and found Rewind searching fruitlessly for Dominus Ambus. He formed a deep friendship with the diminutive archivist. Chromedome credited Rewind's optimism and caring nature as having saved his life, and the two were nearly inseparable since.

Abilities: While in vehicle mode, Chromedome can reach a top speed of 478 mph with traveling range of 630 miles. Chromedome can also use his laser pistols in both robot and vehicle mode. Although they are not the intended use, Chromedome’s Mnemosurgical needles can be used as a melee based weapon.

Weaknesses: Chromedome exhibits no know physical weaknesses, but sometimes he lets his emotions get the best of his judgment. He also often relies on Rewind to keep him honest.

Sample:
The blast doors to the prison opened slowly with a menacing sounding hiss. Chromedome stood there a second, marveling at the size of the fortress. Once the doors fully opened, the mnemosurgeon stepped slowly inside, still gazing around the large arches that building had. From the distance he saw Brainstorm approaching in a calmly manner.

“Chromedome!” the engineer called out through the hallow halls of the fortress-like prison, “It’s about time you showed up, most of us here were getting worried.”

“Oh please Brainstorm; I know how much you miss my company.” Chromedome retorted in a joking matter.

“Well now that you’re here, we can get down to business.” Brainstorm then turned and the two mechs began to walk side-by-side into the depths of the fortress. Brainstorm placed a finger over the comm.-link on the side of his head. “This is Brainstorm to the Warden; Chromedome is inside and we are en-route to your location. Sedate the patient and ready him for Surgery.

“So what’s the story Brainstorm?”

“A couple of our troops picked up some Decepticons about a mile or so southeast of this fortress. We’ve been trying to gather as much Intel on the Decepticon war effort as possible. We’ve tried interrogation, but these guys just don’t crack. It’s rather impressive actually.”

“So, you need me to go digging into these Decepticons’ heads? Trying to gather as much info as we can?”

“Head actually.” Brainstorm corrected, “Only one of our captives has survived the interrogation without having to break a rust-capsule.” Chromedome let out a short sigh. He knew Rewind would chew his aft out for this.

The two mechs finally reached the interrogation room. Brainstorm opened the door and Chromedome was blinded by the intense light that poured out of the tiny room. When his optics finally adjusted to the light, Chromedome was greeted by the hulking Autobot warden.

“So, you’re the famous Chromedome.” The brutish looking warden stated to the mnemosurgeon in a very deep tone. “Brainstorm just wouldn’t shut up about you. Name’s Epsilon, I’m this prison’s warden.”

“Pleasure to help sir.” Chromedome replied, “So what are we dealing with?” The warden turned and switched on a single light. It revealed a single Decepticon, strapped tightly into his chair in the very back of the room. There were chains binding the chair to the floor, and a couple restraining the patient. “Wow, is he THAT dangerous?” Chromedome asked curiously.

“Not entirely, we just like to be sure. They aren’t called Decepticons because they can hold out in a fight.”

“Chromedome,” Brainstorm said, interjecting himself between Epsilon and Chromedome, “We’ve got him sedated in temporary stasis. If you’re going to operate, I suggest you do it now.” Brainstorm’s tone seemed rushed, as if he didn’t think the sedative was going to last. Chromedome approached the sustained Decepticon. He noticed that the Con was leaking Energon from a couple spots where the interrogators tried to break him, get him to crack. Chromedome walked behind the chair so that he could link up easier with the patient, and so he was safe in the event of an awakening.

“Brainstorm I need you to do something for me.” Chromedome asked as he readied the needles for his operation. Brainstorm looked up from the computer console he was studying intensively. Chromedome looked over to Brainstorm and gave him a very stern look. “Don’t let Rewind know.” Chromedome then place his hands horizontally around the crest on the Decepticon’s helmet. He took a deep breath, and let out a long sigh.

I’m sorry Rewind…

-

There was a sudden flash of white light. All Chromedome could see was nothing but white, going on for miles. This was common though, it means the connection was successful and that he’ll soon warp into the patient’s most private memories. Soon he was back in the interrogation room, but he saw the interrogators. He played the memory for a few seconds, just enough to hear the indistinctive chatter of the Brainstorm’s suggestion of mnemosurgery. Chromedome erased this, in fear of the Decepticon’s use of mnemosurgery as well.

Walking along into a different memory, Chromedome observed what appeared to be the interior of a Decepticon Warship. Here he played back the memory just so he could hear the orders. Most of it was indistinctive chatter over the ship’s comm. He played the memory back just a little further to see if he could locate where the Decepticon got his orders. He eventually found what he was looking for; the Decepticon’s orders were given to him and the rest of his legion in the hangar bay of the warship.

“Listen up!” A sharp voice screamed as Chromedome replayed the memory. “Your orders are to establish a landing zone for our warships to drop off the second wave of troops!” Chromedome noted what he was hearing and soon the drop hatch opened and the troopers poured out. Chromedome followed the legion of now free-falling troops to the planet’s surface below. He landed gently on his feet, as he descended gracefully like a sheet of paper in the wind. The legion transformed into the common “Seeker” jet fighters, and flew hastily towards the surface of the planet.

“How curious,” Chromedome thought out loud, “These troopers are seekers, yet I don’t recall seeing any wings while he was in the chair.” Chromedome fast forwarded the memory just a bit. He stopped at a point where the Seeker legion was talking to one-another.

“You all know the plan?” The commanding officer asked, “One my mark. 3…2…1….NOW!” Chromedome watched as the seeker leaped from the cliff and landed next to some patrolling Autobots. The captive Decepticon was the only Con to have jumped from the cliff, the others disappeared without a trace. Chromedome saw them fly off into the distance. He turned back to the single con, who was getting shot at and beaten by the patrol. The con’s wings got shot off after taking a concussion blast to his back. The con fell over and was left unconscious, and the patrol picked him up and dragged him back to the fortress.

When the wing-less con finally made it to the fortress, he was put with the other captured cons. Chromedome counted four cons who were captured, three of them were going to crush a rust-capsule before interrogation.

“Wait a second,” Chromedome thought out loud, “If that’s the Fortress, then that means that-“ He was cut off by a fainted beeping noise he could hear in the back of his mind. “I’ve got to warn the others!”

-

There was a bright flash of light again. He awoke right behind the Decepticon, in the exact same spot where he made the patch before. There was a look of awe in all the Autobots faces upon seeing Chromedome’s return. Chromedome stepped back slowly from the chair. He reached for his holstered laser pistol with lightning speed and shot several rounds into the back of the chair, piercing through and blasting the captive mech as well.

“Primus sakes Chromedome!” Brainstorm yelled from behind the computer terminal he was sitting at, “Was there a memory that scared you THAT bad?”

“That con,” Chromedome said trying to catch his breath as quickly as it could, “and the three other ones that died here, ALL had a beacon built into their chassis.” The Autobot’s looks of awe grew wider. “And they’ve got an invasion force powerful enough to wipe this fortress off the face of the universe.” The crowd of Autobots all looked at each other, worried about the imminent threat.

“We need to evacuate the prison!” Brainstorm quickly yelled out, instructing the warden.

“Everyone to battle stations!” Epsilon instructed over the comms, ”This facility is now under a Code Yellow. Repeat, Code Yellow! Brainstorm, Chromedome, you’re with me. We have to ensure everyone gets out!” Chromedome readied his dual laser pistols.

Rewind, I promised nothing would go wrong during one of the operations. Perhaps I was wrong all along.”

Looks solid, just as the two before it. Good job.

These will count for your initial three-character limit. If you're interested in more in the future and you are maintaining these characters just fine, we'll have no problems approving more. I'm sure you've already been working out with Fox where Chromedome will start so, approved and enjoy :D

Weaknesses:His stubbornness can get him almost killed because he rushes in to battle, not heeding the wounds.

Example Post:

Trick Shot sighed his head module as he was sent on yet another scouting mission. "When am I gonna get a real mission around here?" Trick Shot was just shooting at trees on the desolate planet when he heard something. *rustle rustle* "GOTCHA YA LITTLE DECEPTICON!" Yelled Trick Shot as he ran into the bushes, guns a-blazing. "What? I just saw a...There was something right over...What?" Trick Shot said as he ran into the clearing when he saw he was alone. "Ugh...nothing. Just like usual-" Trick Shot was cut short as he was tackled to the ground and put in stasis. "Where...Where am I?" Trick Shot said as he came out of stasis. "Scrap. A Decepticon prison. Who would've thought that old Trick Shot as stubborn and tough as he is, would be here in chains while a WAR is going on! A WAR! Scrap it, nothings gonna help me out of here." Just as he said this, a loud BOOM filled the air. "Seems to be a Auto-Bot bombing raid!" After a series of bombs hitting the prison, Trick Shot's Energon Shackle Bindings powered down. "Yes! Now I'm gonna free my fellow bots and kick the hub caps off of whoever put me here." Trick Shot ran out of his cell to be greeted by a Decepticon War Monger. With a smirk on his face plate, Trick Shot said, "'ello mate!" And deftly snapped the Monger's head in two.

Profile:

Tailgate is famous-and perhaps infamous-for his tireless dedication to and championing for the rights of his fellow beings. Optimus Prime's deeply held belief that freedom is the right of all sentient beings struck a profound chord with Tailgate, who took up arms alongside the Autobot army as a result of it. However, the vorns of viewing Decepticon atrocities have taken a toll on Tailgate's perceptions. He's now so sensitive to the plight of beings across the galaxy that he makes no distinction between sentient and non-sentient creations. When Blaster started showing the Autobots Earth TV transmissions, Tailgate was horrified by the wanton destruction of machinery there. No amount of explaining has thus far managed to convince Tailgate that Earth's machines aren't sentient like Transformers and other mechanical beings. Until he realizes otherwise, Earth's cars and appliances have a well-meaning but severely misguided champion in Tailgate.

Abilities:

In car mode, Tailgate can go as fast as 180 mph under his own power with a range of 600 miles. But a powerful ferrocobalt magnet under his hood allows him to be pulled by and within a few feet of any vehicle he chooses to follow, reducing his own fuel expenditure to nearly zero. His range has virtually no limit when he travels like this.

Weaknesses:

Tailgate is prone to overheating, particularly when he's all worked up over some imagined injustice done to a machine.

Sample Post:

"We'll find you a good home, promise."

It had been a long day for Tailgate. The day started explosively with Tailgate liberating a poor toaster from the abusive hands of an elderly woman who beat the poor being mercilessly for burning toast (She was rather insane expecting him to withhold his full power). Once freed, Tailgate promised his full efforts to find the poor being a new, non-abusive home; his success could not compare to his drive, as the toaster refused to respond to Tailgate's proposals nor reveal his robot form. It would take more than another stubborn Earth device to drop Tailgate's Morale.

"What about this place?" Tailgate and the toaster were perusing the local junkyard when they came across an area teeming with earth-deemed "place to cook food appliances": ovens, stoves and-"Look, fellow toasters! Maybe with their help, you can forget about that abusive madam." He waited for a response, slightly disheartened when the toaster failed to provide one. "Well I'm not going to put you in another bad situation, just don't be afraid to tell me what you want."

The day was beginning to dwindle to a close, Tailgate fearing the worst for his toaster ally. "Will you think less of me i-Woah!" Unaware of the oil slick in his path Tailgate slipped, falling to the gound and losing possession of the toaster. The mute being slid several yards from Tailgate's grasp, bringing a small sense of panic to the protective Autobot. "So sorry, I'll come get yo-" He stopped vocalizing when he noticed a human appeared, oblivious to everything in his surroundings except for the toaster that appeared to materialize in his presence. "Aww shucks, I've been looking for a new friend" the human exclaimed in glee, then lovingly embraced the device while skipping into the sunset. "Steve, we're going to be best buds! We can paint and shoot and shoot paint an..." Tailgate witnessed the jovial human proclaim to the toaster, satisfied with the outcome.

"I think you'll be happy with him....Steve."

I'm posting this again because when I applied for him, I was unaware of the sheer amount of IRL stuff that ended up taking my time I planned to dedicate to here.

With the advice of a friend, and a clearer look at my now effectively clear schedule, I'd like to re-apply and actually participate in this awesome community.

I'm afraid this application is denied. And looking through your past posting history, I'm going to recommend that you try for a canon first if you really want to play. Get a feel for the game, what types of fanmade characters fit and how the flow of the game goes.

As to why this character won't work, you did just allot 70 stat points, so that's fine, but no 10s without specific moderator approval (which you wouldn't get for your first character on the board as it is), and then you need to considerably expand the profile and abilities section. For the profile, that means delving into more detail with this character's history on Cybertron. Where was he? What was he doing? Just more info all around. For the abilities section, that means specifics regarding what his enhanced speed and agility actually translates to when you are playing him in the game. The sample post would also need to be worked on. I suggest finding places where it can naturally be broke up into paragraphs so as to make it easier for anyone reading it as well as running it through a spelling and grammar check. Your spelling's actually pretty solid and I'm not too worried but there's a lot of things that a grammar check would probably catch and fix for you when you post.

So yeah, as pertains to this character, if you really want to play him, I would advise saving this application, working on it over time and really fleshing it out, then after you've played in the game for some time and feel you're ready to give him a go, PM a mod and talk about it some and we'll let you know. As it is, though, we couldn't let this character in.

Looking forward to seeing how this try goes. Best of luck. Re-approved. :D

I'd like to take this guy on as a full character. He's wormed his way into my spark.

Weirdwolf

Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Tracker
Alt Mode: Wolf-like Cybertronian beast
Weapons: Thermal sword, photon pistol, triple-stage missile launchers, claws and teeth
Special Abilities: “Sixth sense,” enhanced sensors and senses
Height: 31’/9.48m
Quote: “My pleasure with my enemy’s pain comes.”

Strength: 07
Intelligence: 10
Dexterity: 09
Speed: 06
Endurance: 09
Courage: 09
Firepower: 06
Accuracy: 08
Melee: 09
Tech Skill: 08
Charisma: 06
Rank: 06

Profile:
[From the personal work journal of Scrapper, Deception engineer] Despite the best efforts of Hook - that shining star of a surgeon - and my own more humble efforts, we were unable to have any luck remedying our comrade Weirdwolf’s non-standard speech patterns. The configuration of his neural processing grid is absolutely unique and, well, absolutely twisted. I’ve never seen anything like it in a Transformer. Just where you think Part A should connect to Part B, it connects to Part Q! Frankly, I’m amazed Weirdwolf’s strange way of talking is the main side effect of his oddball configuration. I would expect something much more catastrophic from such a bizarre processor layout.

Still, speech impediment aside, there isn’t much wrong with Weirdwolf, at least from the perspective of our respective superiors. He’s cruel, vicious, downright sadistic, and horribly brilliant at the core of it all. In other words, an ideal hunter-killer who can be relied upon to eviscerate as many Autobots as he can get his claws on. If only he would stop thinking out loud in that crazy mumbo-jumbo of his…half the time he tries to sneak up on someone, he ends up tipping them off by snarling some confusing yet terrifying threat. Oh well, let’s look on the bright side of things. Even when he does tip off the Autobots to his location, he still usually kills them!

Abilities: Weirdwolf would be considered among the most intelligent and creative Transformers alive if we could understand even half of what he said. Despite a lack of ready communication with his fellow mechanoids, Weirdwolf is still fantastically smart. As well, his unique neural setup gives him a sort of “sixth sense” that aids him in tracking and locating his prey. He is nearly impossible to sneak up on, and almost never surprised as a result of this strange additional sense. Augmenting his “sixth sense” is a battery of powerful, finely-tuned radars, magnetic anomaly detectors, olfactory sensors, and other scanners built into his head.

In combat, Weirdwolf is an utter beast. He is immensely agile, durable and gifted with incredible endurance. Though equipped with a photon pistol (firing destructive high-energy particles) and triple-stage guided missile launchers, he prefers to get up close and personal with his prey, employing his teeth and claws or his thermal sword. He travels quite quickly for a beast-mode Transformer, leaping up to 1.2 miles in a single bound and possessing amazing fuel conservation systems, making him a tireless tracker.

Weaknesses: Weirdwolf lacks any physical weaknesses, but his tendency to think aloud often alerts his enemies to his presence despite his stealth and skill as a hunter.

From the next post on, I would humbly request to be handed this guy. He's so adorable he must be played.

Tantrum

Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Heavy-duty Trooper
Alt. mode: Bull
Weapons: Catalytic Carbine, Electro-Sword
Height: 33ft / 10.07m
Quote: “Anger gets me running better than any other fuel.”

Strength: 08
Intelligence: 04
Dexterity: 06
Speed: 03
Endurance: 08
Courage: 09
Firepower: 08
Accuracy: 07
Melee: 08
Tech Skill: 05
Charisma: 03
Rank: 05

Profile: Trying to reason with Tantrum would be as utterly pointless as talking to a lightning storm or fierce wind. Violence and threats are the only things Tantrum deals in, and anger is the only emotion he seems to possess. In fact, his comrades have come up with 20 new classifications of anger just to define the variations in their ally’s myopic mood: “Baseline angry,” “Intensely angry,” “Completely slagging enraged,” and “Everybody run!” are just a few. To take the edge off, Tantrum will often knock down a building of highway overpass, which temporarily makes him feel better. That his condition improves only when he’s hit or hitting something has caused some to wonder if Tantrum’s uncontrollable rage isn’t caused by some misaligned circuit or fuel line that’s been knocked in and out of place. Unfortunately, Tantrum takes aggressive issue with anyone who tries or even suggest altering anything in his head.

Abilities: Subject possesses amazing strength and endurance; his armor is extremely thick and reinforced. He has four exterior fuel tanks (over his legs in bull mode and within his arms and legs as a robot) that can carry additional Energon. In bull mode, his normal range is 1,200 miles at an average speed of 30 mph; with the tanks, he can make it almost 10,000 miles. The tanks can also be used to refuel his comrades. His horns shoot 20,000-volt bolts of electricity, which Subject finds difficult to control when angry. In robot mode, his catalytic carbine fires chemicals that can erode most metals or create new alloys. His electro-sword generates an electrical field; when he cuts an opponent, the damage is magnified by the powerful electric shock the sword applies to the open wound.

Weaknesses: Subject has below-average intelligence and his wild behavior endangers him and his comrades. Though heavily armored, sufficient damage can impair his fuel tanks with explosive results.

I'd like to NPC this guy.

Divebomb

Allegiance:
Decepticon
Subgroup: Predacons
Function: Aerial Assault
Alt. mode: Eagle
Weapons: Particle-beam rifle with infra-red sight, laser-guided sword
Special Abilities: Enhanced visual sensors
Height: 31ft / 9.5m
Quote: "Conquer the skies and what's below you will fall."

Strength: 07
Intelligence: 08
Dexterity: 09
Speed: 06
Endurance: 07
Courage: 08
Firepower: 07
Accuracy: 09
Melee: 08
Tech Skill: 06
Charisma: 06
Rank: 06

Profile: Divebomb is one happy Predacon, especially when he is raining down death and destruction on the ground-based Autobot forces. He takes great delight in his work and loves watching his targets scurry about below looking for cover. The more targets he has to choose from the better he likes it. He’s almost always in a good mood, unless he has to deal with his fellow Predacons, whom he only tolerates at best. He prefers to be alone and cherishes his independence. In his downtime, Divebomb likes to build metal “nests” out of whatever scrap happens to be on hand. These fortified structures, usually located at the highest nearby point, are a source of pride for him and a place for him to go when he just wants to get away from his annoying teammates.

Furthermore, Divebomb is highly competitive by nature. So much so that it was the primary reason he took part as a gladiatorial combatant in the underground games back before the war began. It is also why he continued fighting after the Decepticon uprising. Divebomb will usually search out and engage the best Autobot fliers he can find just to prove that he is better. One such flyer is the Dinobot Swoop with whom his has developed an intense rivalry and has previously engaged in aerial conflict.

While Divebomb may not like the other Predacons, he fights alongside them anyway because they are the best of the best in the Decepticon army. When Megatron needs something done right, the Predacons are the ones called upon. Patiently, Divebomb is always waiting for their next assignment, counting down the astroseconds before he can unleash his “happy” side on the unsuspecting enemy once more.

Abilities: Rocket thrusters mounted on his back allow Divebomb to achieve speeds of 300 mph when in eagle mode. He has a 2000 mile range and can reach an altitude of 18 miles. High resolution telescopic lenses within his optical modules enable him to spot a dime from 10,000 feet. He can lift a tank and tear through its armored skin with his beak. In robot mode he uses a particle beam rife with infrared sight and a laser guided sword, which is guided to its target after Divebomb first pinpoints the target with a laser beam that shoots from the sword's tip.

Weaknesses:
Divebomb's internal guidance system is easily thrown off by magnetism. Such interference causes him to lose control while he's flying and makes him prone to crashing.

Weapon: Saber Blade
Name: Rad
Quote: "Think before you shoot, but shoot before you're shot!"
Function: Aerospace Engineer
Alt mode(s): Cybertronian race car
Weapons (if any): Lionizer - Atom Smasher rifle
Allegiance: Autobot
Sub-group: N/A
Special Abilities: None
Height: 26 ft

Strength: 5
Intelligence: 9
Dexterity: 7
Speed: 6
Endurance: 4
Courage: 9
Firepower: 7
Accuracy: 7
Melee: 7
Tech Skill: 9
Charisma: 6
Rank: 5

Profile: With more moves than an all-pro halfback, this clever, cool-headed daredevil is adept at calculating the coefficient of friction for a rocket booster. Sometimes to save on energy, he uses some of the modified tools he has made to work on equipment or sometimes defend him if needed to be. He is sometimes more of a loner preferring the machines he is working on to other Autobot company. He will work with others if the job needs him to.

Rad is a two-fisted 'bot of science. Equally at home on the battlefield and in the laboratory, Rad's inherent level-headedness keeps his quick-tempered partner Lionizer from atomizing everything in their path. It also makes him incredibly popular amongst his teammates because of his sheer amount of skill, though he never lets it get to his head, nor does he let those few who hate him for his skills get him down.

When he needs to unwind, he transforms into his race car mode and takes to the streets with Lionizer's head out the passenger window.

Abilities: He can fix almost any machine even though he prefers to work on aerospace technology. He also can modify most machines if given the time and equipment. However, he has troubles coming up with new ideas and building them from scratch. He also possesses an almost symbiotic relationship with his Cybertronian partner Lionizer, whom he encountered ages ago on the streets of Cybertron. While in car mode, Lionizer can attach to the top of the car in weapon mode.

Weaknesses: Too often his loner act has gotten him into situations that he almost didn’t survive. It is more of an independent mind and fear that others won’t accept his ideas that makes him a loner. The other problem is he has trouble speaking above the heads of most and making adjustments to where they can understand him. Only ones like Wheeljack and Perceptor would be able to hold a good technical conversation with him.

Sid and I been chatting about this via Facebook. I hope the minor tweaks (alt mode and stats) won't be much of an issue.

Sample Post:
Rad looked over to his cellmates. Since he was in a cell, he was glad to be in one with several of the higher intelligent mechs in the Autobot army. Sometimes it was hard for him to simplify what he was trying to say to those who aren't as technically minded as he is. The only frustration is even with all of the intelligence in this area, they still have yet to figure a way out of their cell.

"Brainstorm, what did you find in these five Technobots? I doubt they were implanted with anything dangerous but hope they all don't share any virus. It is possible all the Cons wanted were codes from Scattershot. Let us hope our friends down on the planet can withstand the Con assault. It does make me wonder what Scorponok has to prove in taking the prison colony unless he intends to bolster his own rank and have large enough army to claim overall leadership of the Cons. If only we can figure a way out and sabotage his plans from here."

Rad sits back and wishes more then anything he had Lionizer at his side. Even with his current company, he still misses his pet most of all. If the Cons did anything to Lionizer, they will all pay dearly for it.

Approved. I'll nix him off my roster and you can make a roll call post and so on. Since we've chatted (and from your sample) you know where he is, so all good there. Approved. Have fun. :D

Weapon: Saber Blade
Name: Skydive
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Air Warfare Strategist
Alt. Mode: FA-50
Weapons: Nega Gun
Quote: "Only by studying the past can we win the present."

Strength: 5
Intelligence: 10
Speed: 9
Endurance: 4
Rank: 6
Courage: 7
Firepower: 8
Dexterity: 6
Accuracy: 7
Melee: 5
Tech Skill: 9
Charisma: 5

Profile: Skydive is more interested in reading about jet fighters than being one, He's more likely to have his face stuck in a hologram projection of famous Cybertronian air battles than to be in the air himself. It's not that he's a coward- he's just fascinated by the science of aerial warfare. But even though he's a somewhat reluctant member of the Aerialbot team, he is invaluable- his knowledge of aerial military tactics is without equal. His biggest fault, if you could call it that, is he doesn't realize how smart he really is. At least everyone else around him does.

Abilities: The information-storage capacity of Skydive's cerebro-circuitry is greater than most Transformers'. This enables him to record instantaneously any flying motions he sees, and, within the limits of his design, duplicate them himself. Thus, he's able to simulate the techniques of almost anyone he's studied as well as the gliding patterns of flying creatures he's watched. He is possibly the most skilled flyer of all the flying Transformers. His maximum speed is Mach 2.6 and range is 1400 miles. In jet mode, he can shoot laser-guided missiles with a range of 80 miles. In robot mode, he uses a nega-gun, which shoots a beam that cancels the bonding force between molecules. Only objects held together by the strongest molecular bonds can resist crumbling to dust when hit by the beam.

Weaknesses: Sometimes, in duplicating the flight of another, Skydive pushes his design beyond its limits. This often results in mid-air stalls. He can usually recover before crashing, but while stalled, he is completely vulnerable to attack.

Sample Post: Skydive watches his teammates as they try to out fly each other. If Slingshot and Fireflight was honest, Air Raid and himself are the better fliers and once a while they tried to prove it by flying against each other. Sometimes though, it takes good competition to improve one's flying if they can concentrate on it. Flying with these three plus their currently preoccupied leader has taught Skydive many things namely to keep sensors on Slingshot for mechanical troubles and Fireflight who gets distracted way too easily. This new planet is going to be the worst for him because of all the new things to discover. No matter the challenges of this group, there is a certain amount of prestige being the only dedicated aerial unit the Autobots have. There are other fliers like Blades of the Protectobots and the minibot jet but aerial units are a rarity for Autobots. Skydive walked up to the training device.

"Alright, you two, time to show you who can actually fly circles around the Con seekers."

I think I'll take this guy on. Let me know if I need to add a sample.

Name: Treadshot
Allegiance: Decepticon
Sub-group: Decepticon Intelligence
Function: Gunslinger
Alt. mode: Revolver Style handgun
Weapons: Pulse demagnetizer rifle, Catgut (transforms into a particle blaster), fusion powered particle blaster (Catgut + Pulse Demagnetizer Rifle)
Height: 28 ft. / 8.5 m
Quote: “A gun is only as good as the one who holds it!”

Strength: 06
Intelligence: 07
Dexterity: 09
Speed: 03
Endurance: 08
Courage: 08
Firepower: 08
Accuracy: 10
Melee: 06
Tech Skill: 07
Charisma: 06
Rank: 07

Profile: Treadshot earned his much-deserved reputation one shot at a time. Like Sureshot, Treadshot was a sought-after commodity in the Autobot/Decepticon conflict, with both sides wanting the renowned sharpshooters. Treadshot, the superior of the two, made his demands clear; he wanted autonomy and wealth. The Decepticons gladly complied, and the amoral Treadshot found a home for himself. Catgut, Treadshot’s ferociously loyal partner and faithful weapon, enjoys every one of the duo’s homicidal missions to the fullest extent.

Due to his unique skills and demands for general autonomy Treadshot was assigned to the intelligence division. Within it he can move about the empire more freely and be saved for higher profile missions such as assassinations rather then wasted in regular combat. This suits Treadshot quite well.

Abilities: Subject possesses above-average strength, intelligence, and endurance. He is the most skilled sharpshooter known among the Transformers; he can perform complex trick shots and long range sniping with incredible ease. He wields a pulse demagnetizer rifle, which can connect to the particle blaster mode of his Targetmaster partner, Catgut. Subject transforms into a revolver type handgun with a scope, but rarely if ever transforms due to the energy consumption of mass shifting and the dislike of relying on another being to aim him. Catgut possesses razor sharp claws and fangs but is far more deadly in his weapon mode in the hands of Treadshot.

Weaknesses: Subject’s arrogance is as legendary as his skills; he’ll often rely on his gunslinging abilities when some other tactic would be preferable.

Looks workable. Approved. You can have him dive in with the other Aerials aboard the Ark-22. :D

Sample unnecessary. He was last seen on Nebulos, so he'd be somewhere aboard the Semper Tyrannis now. Have fun!

Would like to have a crack at bludgeon i know he don't come with his shell

Name: Bludgeon
Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Electric Warrior
Alt. mode: Cybertronian Tank
Weapons: Energo-Sword, Shield, Electric Cannon, Electric Fireballs
Height: 30 ft / 9.14 m
Quote: “To know your own limits, you must first know your foe's limits.”

Intelligence: 8
Dexterity: 9
Speed: 2
Endurance: 9
Courage: 9
Firepower: 7
Accuracy: 9
Melee: 10
Tech Skill: 7
Charisma: 7
Rank: 6

Profile: Bludgeon is calmed and prepared, always giving the disconcerting impression that he knows something no one else does. He frightens other Decepticons with his emotionless demeanour during combat. One of few Decepticons who could be described as honourable, the aloof Bludgeon adheres to an archaic code which only he understands. He feels that each worthy opponent he conquers adds to his own abilities, bringing him closer to his ideal of the “ultimate warrior.” His superstitious ways and eerie religious practices disturb many Decepticons, but none can deny his effectiveness in combat. Nor would they try, lest he turn his seemingly supernatural abilities against them.

Abilities: Bludgeon is one of the most skilled hand-to-hand combatants from Cybertron and is a master of the forgotten art of Metallikato. He has generators in his legs that produce disorienting clouds of black smoke. In robot mode, Bludgeon is armed with a high-powered energo-sword and accompanying shield, as well as an electric cannon (also the main weapon in tank mode). He possesses the ability to internally create electric fireballs that can be directed through his body with a range of over 400 yards.

Weaknesses: Bludgeon has no known physical weaknesses, but adherence to his superstitious beliefs and code of honour can hamper his battlefield effectiveness.

It was chaos autobots and decepticons where clashing repeatedly but around the form of Bludgeon time seemed to flow slower every action was deliberate every shot made to count. The autobots that where already engaged in combat with other decepticons where left alone they were engaged in duels and to interrupt would go against honourable combat. That is all that really counted to Bludgeon as he stuck to his code while all about him his comrades in arms fought like thugs. His emotionless detachment in combat elevated him to terrifying status in the eyes of his comrades, he knew what he had to do and who was deserving of his blade. His cold emotionless optics where drawn to one particular autobot that had just taken down his opponent with exceptional skill and grace.

“Yes this one will do a worthy opponent” Bludgeon muttered as he raised his electric cannon squeezing the trigger while the resultant shot succeeded in drawing the autobots attention even if it did no damage. Like bludgeon he was armed with a sword unlike bludgeon he wasn’t as disciplined as the bot yelled “you want to fight con let’s get to it” Bludgeon regarded the larger gold and white autobot with well practiced optics assessing his foes strengths and weaknesses. He eased into his combat stance with his energo sword in his right hand his left seemingly caressing the flat of the blade. “Your move” bludgeon said his voice no more than a whisper that still carried across the field of battle at the invitation the Autobot charged the blades clashed at lightning speed, parries, thrusts and slices thrown countered and counter countered in the blink of an eye.

Bludgeon smiled inwardly as he appreciated the skill and tenacity of the warrior in front of him as the autobots blade whistle past his visor close enough for him to register the breeze of the blade as it passed. Bludgeon didn’t go for the big flashy stroke he made small strikes that seemed insignificant the Autobot didn’t care for these small bee stings but the flow of energon that was leaking from these stings where soon taking their toll as the electric warrior stepped away from a murderous blow that could of cleaved him in two. A perfect somersault that belied his bulky form left Bludgeon crouched several feet away from his foe his optics never left the autobot who swayed and staggered as he attempted to charge. Standing upright the mystical decepticon raised his left arm small sparks cackled across his fingers reaching out to each other to form a ball of electricity which he released and sent it streaking toward his foe it struck the autobot square in the chest the bolt of electrical energy spread like fingers across Bludgeons foe and ignited the flowing energon.

The Decepticon turned away from the autobot as he burned from within it rankled bludgeon that he didn’t even know the name of the autobot that was honourable enough to face him in single combat. Bludgeon strode forward into the maelstrom of combat once again searching out more combatants worthy of his attention.

Obviously no issues with the profile since it's one that was approved previously. A grammar checker would catch a lot of the little things I'm seeing in the sample. Just be mindful of that. Doesn't have to be perfect, just makes it easier to read. Approved and have fun. Cry informs me that Bludgeon is in a cell on Garrus, so just PM me if you want help working out any specifics. Enjoy :D

It was Sid. It's all his fault, ensnaring me in his insidious schemes...

Octane

Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Fueler
Alt. mode: KC-135R Stratotanker aircraft, Kenworth T-660 sleeper truck with tanker trailer
Weapons: Fuel-powered flamethrower
Special Abilities: Able to turn liquid based energy sources into synthetic energon
Height: 35ft / 10.68m
Quote: "He who has fuel has power!"

Strength: 06
Intelligence: 06
Dexterity: 06
Speed: 06
Endurance: 05
Courage: 04
Firepower: 05
Accuracy: 07
Melee: 06
Tech Skill: 07
Charisma: 04
Rank: 06

Profile: Octane is a greedy, mean-spirited bully. Just to prove his own value, he's more than willing to let a Decepticon slip painfully into inoperative status rather than offer him a drop of life-saving fuel. Only after his thirsty victim begs for fuel and praises Octane does Octane relent. He entertains himself by forcing vehicles to swerve off highways and commercial aircraft to abort landing approaches at airports. Crashes caused by him make him howl with laughter. He rebuffs requests by other Decepticons for him to end these wasteful, pointless actions. "I don't tell them how to have their fun," says Octane, "and they have no business telling me how to have mine!"

Abilities: In jet mode, Octane has a range of 10000 miles and can reach a speed of 750 mph and can act as either a fuel transport or as a bomber - able to carry payload of 200,000lbs. In tanker mode, his range is 95,000 miles and he can go up to 190 mph. He can carry 15,000 gallons of fuel and has internal equipment that modifies oil-based fuels into fuel the Transformers are able to use, or solid fuel. He has internal hoses that he uses to drill for and siphon off liquid fuel sources. He is likely to attack a gas station or another tanker truck in his quest to acquire fuel. In robot mode, he carries a liquid-flame thrower, powered by his fuel reserves, and a deflecto-shield, which turns back almost whatever beam or artillery that hits it upon whoever shot it.

Weaknesses: In tanker truck mode, Octane is generally heavily armored to protect himself and his fuel tank. However, he is extremely vulnerable to a hit in jet mode due to the enlarging process leaving his armoring thin. He is not an effective combatant in the air since he has virtually no offensive air to air capabilities in jet mode.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dead End

Allegiance: Decepticon
Sub-group: Stunticons
Function: Warrior
Alt. mode: Porsche 911 model year 2011
Weapons: Compressor Air Rifle, Trunk-Mounted Double-Barreled Compressed Air Cannon
Special Abilities: Dead End emanates a radar signal that allows him to detect the movements of any vehicle or robot within a 200-mile radius as well as map surrounding terrain.
Height: 26 ft / 7.93 m
Quote: "We are all just food for rust."

Strength: 7
Intelligence: 6
Dexterity: 8
Speed: 7
Endurance: 7
Courage: 9
Firepower: 5
Accuracy: 7
Melee: 7
Tech Skill: 6
Charisma: 3
Rank: 5

Profile: The most encouraging thing Dead End is capable of saying before combat, is that he hopes he doesn't suffer too much when his inevitable death comes. Pessimism is a way of life for Dead End, whose reliably dour mood has become a source of humour among his fellow Stunticons, particularly the mean-spirited Motormaster. He'll tease Dead End about his incessant moping and bizarrely intense maintenance and beautification routines, which only serves to further crush Dead End's broken spirit. Dead End likes to keep himself looking and feeling perfect so that when the end does arrive, he'll leave an attractive corpse to let everyone know what they'll be missing. He finds conflict pointless since everyone will wind up dead eventually, but he becomes a surprisingly fearless and ferocious fighter when stirred to combat. That's the only time his outlook improves because it focuses Dead End on his desire to live: he may be convinced he'll become inoperative eventually, but he doesn't want to do it anytime soon.

Abilities: Subject possesses significantly above-average strength and above-average intelligence. Once roused to fight, he's a highly effective warrior. As a vehicle, he can reach a top speed of 220 mph. His internal radar system allows him to track the movements of vehicles and robots within a 200-mile radius; he can use the information to map terrain, enemy positions, and troop movements. He can use this knowledge to lead enemy combatants into traps before they can figure out the lay of the land. Subject can deploy a double-barreled compressed air cannon as a vehicle; in robot mode, he uses a handheld compressed air rifle. Even the smaller rifle is capable of delivering 40,000 psi of pressure.

Weaknesses: Subject is extremely difficult to motivate into fighting, often requiring a direct verbal or physical assault (from the Autobots or even Motormaster) before he answers the call to arms.

Weapon: Saber Blade
Finally found a con who sparked my interest and isn't a fanmade.

Battletrap

Allegiance: Decepticon
Sub-group: Duocon
Function: Assault team
Alternate Modes: Apache Helicopter and 2013 Jeep Land Rover
Weapons: Double barrel assault missile launcher with leaf-imaging for night-firing capability
Special Abilities:
Height: 24ft/ 8m
Quote: “We're only halves of a whole, but double the trouble.”

Strength: 7
Intelligence: 3
Dexterity: 6
Speed: 6
Endurance: 8
Courage: 6
Firepower: 7
Accuracy:  7
Melee: 4
Tech Skill: 7
Charisma: 3
Rank: 6

Profile: Battletrap can best be described as playful - in the same sense that a cat is playful with a mouse that it's caught before the cat moves in for the kill. If his two components were humans they'd very likely be a wrestling tag-team. He likes to trap an adversary between his jeep and helicopter components and have "fun" with him- knock him back and forth a bit - before finally ripping him to pieces. He's cheerful and good-natured- no doubt because he enjoys his work so much.

Underneath the good nature side is a jealousy of the triple changers Astrotrain and Blitzwing. Battletrap found out from Shockwave that he and his fellow Duocon Flywheels were a failed attempt at creating triple changers. On the outside he tells them the Duocons are far superior to any triple changer because they can attack into two separate alt modes instead of one.

Abilities: Battletrap can divide his robot into two separate and autonomous vehicle modes - jeep and helicopter. The two vehicles have identical personalities and can recombine into robot mode in 1.6 seconds. The jeep has a maximum speed of 90 mph and a range of 600 miles. In robot and jeep modes, Battletrap uses a double-barreled, wire-guided assault missile launcher with infra-red imaging for night-firing capabilities. The helicopter has a maximum speed of 780 mph and a range of 1200 miles. It is packed with electronic detection, jamming and communication equipment.

Weaknesses: Battletrap has good strength in robot mode, but sacrifices much of this for mobility when he divides into his two vehicle modes. Neither vehicle is especially rugged or weapons-fire-resistant. His two components can't be more then ten miles apart before the connection between the two become strained and they start malfunctioning. This is due to the linkage of the brain module(s), spark, and transformer cog(s).

Flamewar

Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Black Operative
Alt. mode: Cybertronic Racing Motorcycle
Weapons: Fusion Crossbow, Incendiary Sabre
Height: 28ft / 8.54m

Profile: Flamewar was among the original group of Cybertronians that Megatron enlisted to become Decepticons. Since enlisting, she has served the Decepticons in as many ways as her body and mind would let her. Flamewar revels in the conquest and glory of the war and believes that Megatron is the only one capable of leading the Decepticons to greatness. She has a wide variety of skills and therefore served many roles in her time from spy and saboteur to scientist to warrior.

Flamewar often struggles to balance her unyielding dedication to the cause with the rest of her life, the former often overriding all personal needs. She makes the choices that will lead to the success of the mission without fail, regardless of whatever fallout may occur due to the decision.

As a black operative, Flamewar works outside of the normal chain of command, answering directly only to Lord Megatron or to whoever’s command Megatron assigns her to. Through her work over countless vorns, she has accumulated a wide variety of dark secrets and restricted information on several different Decepticons. Flamewar uses this knowledge to her advantage, extorting favors and threatening to expose their dark secrets to the Decepticon Justice Division.

Abilities: The modifications that Flamewar made to her frame increase her natural abilities and also helped her to develop some technologies to maximize her own efficiency. One such technology is a low level force field, which virtually eliminates friction. Flamewar utilizes this to achieve high speeds both in robot and alternate modes. In her alternate mode, she can reach speeds in excess of 400 mph.

Along with the plans for her body modifications, Flame also developed plans for an experimental weapon, the fusion crossbow. The weapon has greater range and accuracy than originally anticipated, having made it slowly become Flamewar’s signature weapon in combat.

Flamewar developed several types of munitions for her fusion crossbow from bolts with electric charges for stunning or shorting out equipment to incendiary bolts to explode and ignite their target and much more. Her supply of these custom bolts is limited, however. The fusion crossbow can fire bolts of pure energy as well, but unfortunately, that drains Flamewar’s own energon reserves.

Flamewar also wields an incendiary sabre for close quarters combat. It possesses an internal energon fuel cell that powers the energy field around the blade, giving the sabre its fiery attribute. She is a skilled swordsman as well as an accurate marksman, making her incredibly lethal in combat. Flamewar is also extremely intelligent, capable of devising tactics on the battlefield as well as devising experimental weapons and technology in the lab.

Flamewar transforms into a black, cybertronic, racing motorcycle with flames. Her holomatter avatar is a young woman in her late twenties wearing a racing suit and helmet. The avatar has light, auburn hair with a fair complexion and dark eyes when not wearing her helmet.

Weaknesses: Flamewar's tendency to look back at the past can sometimes cloud her judgment regarding her present actions.

Sample Post:
Earth Orbit – Approaching the Thanatos

The huge blue and green planet shone radiantly, taking up the whole of the window’s view. A steady tapping was the only sound that could be heard inside the vessel. Red optics glanced upward at the target planet with a mixed look of relief and disdain. Flamewar ceased drumming her digits on the control panel of her transport shuttle. She had finally arrived. This borrowed transport shuttle had little in the way of speed. Or space. Or anything really. The femme would be more than glad to finally stretch her legs in the corridors of the Thanatos.

Of course, Flamewar could finally begin searching for the answers to the questions that had been plaguing her for the past orn. Where was Lord Megatron? She had tried to achieve contact through long distance communications, but she had not received any acknowledgement. Frustrating. To say the least. And distressing.

The femme scrutinized the blue and green planet. So this was the current frontline. It had been some time since she’d been anywhere near the frontlines of the war. She tended to work behind the scenes. She preferred it that way. But now with Megatron’s disturbing silence as to her next assignment…Flamewar would do whatever was necessary to discover his status. Anything that was necessary.

Flamewar checked the control panel of her small shuttle and flicked her digits across the keys, activating the short range communications functions. The femme opened a hailing transmission to the Thanatos with the standard encryption.

>>”Flamewar to Thanatos. Requesting permission to dock and come aboard.”<<
