Profile: Barricade has got a bit of a mouth on him. Whether it's smashing through an Autobot roadblock or hunting down his latest quarry, he rarely lets an opportunity to taunt, criticize or demoralize someone go by. And no, not even his fellow Decepticons are safe...not even Megatron. One would think this would mean a short end to his career, but apparently not. The Decepticon leader has taken to tolerating his loud mouth, perhaps due to his sheer effectiveness and tenacity in his job as an enforcer of Decepticon law, but possibly also because his scolding of the other Decepticons sometimes works in Megatron's favor.
Barricade's favorite tactic is taunting opponents until they start chasing him, and then leading them through hazardous areas that they don't have a chance of surviving, while he will escape without a scratch. As a hunter, he keeps his opponents off-guard and nervous by talking a lot, citing them with whatever crimes he thinks they've committed against the Decepticons.

Barricade’s past on Cybertron was that of a normal law-enforcing cop. However, as time passed, the leadership of overly lenient leaders caused him to become jaded to the normal procedures of law enforcement, and quickly started to take things into his own hands and view of how the law should be. Those who disobey the law should be punished, and made examples of.
Even though the Decepticons aren’t necessarily angels, as far as Barricade is concerned the Decepticon code is one of true justice: Punish those who go against the code, and enslave those who refuse to have the same cause. Barricade is the definition of bad cop, and he knows it, and loves the label. In his mind, the best way to enforce the law is to scare the lawless into submission, and kill those who refuse to obey.
Barricade is also a pathological liar- or at least when it comes to talking with those he doesn’t fully trust. Those in higher ranks may not be fully safe from his “white lies", but those Barricade trusts more can put more confidence in what he says. As Barricade has said before, “Sometimes lying is the only way to get the information you want.”
Some may think Barricade is a blundering idiot of a cop when it comes to being subtle, but many times his supposed hatred of subtlety can be a smart cover for his gathering of desired information. Barricade is not stupid. Only a cop with a slightly different approach.
Abilities: Deployable hand saws from his hands can be quite a loud and terrifying thing for those Barricade decides unfit to live. Though they can get stuck in the victim and need to be replaced often, they are quite an effective temporary weapon, and sound OH so good when ground together for extra scary effect.
Left forearm contains many various guns, including the six to eight that; when deployed; form the arm into a sort of minigun.
Revolver is a hand held six shot weapon with extremely sharp rounds designed to cut through armor, as well as a variant of the rounds which are explosive at collision, with the sectioned breaking points similar to that of a pineapple grenade. Since the two rounds look exactly the same from the outside, it can be frightening to others to not know which type of round he has loaded into his revolver. Only Barricade knows at all times, and he likes it that way.
Heating knuckles are made of a highly heat conductive metal which also has an extremely high melting point. This means they can be heated to white hot and still be hard as cold steel. The heat of these can get up to 7567 degrees C before softening, and are quite effective at melting a ‘Bot’s optics with a good forceful punch. They are a mix of metal alloys, and not many know what the substances are besides some weapons experts who have chances to analyze the components. Even Barricade doesn’t know exactly what is in them. Only that he found the gnarly things in a weapons stash on Cybertron, and he was glad to have some “friendly” weapons nuts carve his favorite words into them later.
Stun baton is a much higher voltage than the legal voltage on Cybertron, and can electrocute and kill those enemies who are not strong enough to handle its wattage.
Weaknesses: Barricade is many times too trusting of his own abilities and wants, and can get himself almost caught in the same traps that he tries to catch Autobots in. Though, he normally get’s out unscathed, or at least alive and kicking. At least so far.
Barricade’s fighting style is more for inciting fear into his foes before killing them, and takes longer to kill those than a normal Decepticon fighter usually. Though, when angered, he can be underestimated for his speed.
Sample Post:The Red Planet [Mars] - Wrecked shuttle “The Lollipop":Crashing, burning, it’s all Barricade heard inside the CR chamber. He may’ve been hazed after just being in semi-comatose state, yet he knew he was inside a CR chamber.
“Ahh, frag, where am I?” is all that came out of the dark cop’s vocalizer. He was starting to slowly remember what was happening. But more importantly what situation he was in.
“Wait, this hatch should be fragging open by now!” came his voice from the electronic coffin of sorts. He was stuck. The hatch wouldn’t open. He tried pulling the emergency hatch, but then the lights inside suddenly died. “OH FRAG! THESE HATCHES ARE NORMALLY MECHANICAL!”
Then, he realized. He was trapped in a CR chamber inside a wrecked ship. Or at least some sort of shuttle. Then he remembered his injuries. He was in this shuttle when all hell was breaking lose. Lost an arm, an eye was torn out- pretty crazy stuff. Barricade had climbed in this CR chamber on his own with no medical personnel nearby. He just didn’t remember what led up to that.
Wait, this, this IS a mechanical emergency hatch… Something is- something is on top of me!With limited movability, Barricade finally found his right arm, and transformed it into a-
saw? NO SAW?! This is FRAGGING GREAT.When he had regained as much strength as he could, he finally was able to transform his left arm into what he hoped was a saw. Scraping it against the lid of the CR chamber in attempts to free himself. Claustrophobia setting in, his panicked attempts to cut through the chamber walls were failing. This saw he had was utterly destroyed.
“FRAGGING GET ME OUT OF HERE!” Barricade shouted hoping that someone of the same faction was alive and close enough to free him from this coffin.
As he kicked his leg, the bottom of the chamber suddenly gave way. “Thank Primus!” shouted Barricade as he crawled out legs first.
As he got out, Barricade noticed what was blocking his escape from the top. A piece of the ship roofing that had fallen in such a way to be a beam holding the lid shut. Like death was trying it’s best to harvest the Decepticon cop.
Not today. Memories then started to flood back.
This is a Thanatos shuttle. But, why am I here? Why not in the Thanatos? As Barricade stood up and regained his balance, he had only three things he wanted to do. Figure out where he was crashed, restock his weapons if possible, and then GET OUT.
As he walked over to the side of the tiny medical port in this shuttle, he looked outside a broken window to the terrain that made his optics widen.
“Wh- WHY THE FRAG AM I ON MARS???"
