Profile: Scowl feels like the victim of some cosmic joke. He had assumed that his alternate mode would strike fear and terror in his enemies, only to find out it elicited more laughs then screams. With his alternate mode a joke, Scowl instead focused on mastering his other abilities. He primarily focuses on using the power of sound waves to disrupt electronic equipment and, at more powerful decibel ranges, physical objects. He has become quite adept with his sonic talents, although the mockery of his alternate mode still stings him.

Abilities: Subject has above average strength and intelligence, and exceptional endurance and resistance to damage. In robot mode he has chest mounted speakers and ultrasonic hearing, allowing him to pinpoint the exact nature and location of even the dimmest sounds at a great distance. He can also generate sonic waves that can disrupt electronics and even, at maximum power, knock another Transformer off his feet. His sonic disruptor rifle can cause a target to either perceive damaging, over-amplified sound or total silence. He combines with his teammates to form Monstructor.

Weaknesses:
Subject’s embarrassment of his alternate mode means he refuses to use it and any comments about it will send him into a rage or a depression.

Sample Post:

The guard made a gesture with his hand, signalling to Scowl to hurry it up. Scowl didn’t respond at first. Didn’t even react with a glance in the guard’s direction, though he knew that -- because he’d caught it on the edge of his vision -- the gesture was aimed at him. Instead, he ignored the pile of greasy parts, continuing to walk at his own pace. The Monstercon was moving no slower than his fellow inmates who were also returning to their cells.

Or so he thought.

The guard, new to Cell Block G, repeated the gesture quickly, impatiently, and with an expression that curdled his already sour face into something entirely rancid. That Scowl did see, much to his displeasure. It was a countenance desperately in need of fixing. The saboteur reckoned his fists were fit for that task.

Would be hard work, for sure, but I think I’d be doing him a favour.

Cruising along at his own speed -- a speed that was no slower than anybody else’s, it ought to be stressed -- Scowl went to saunter past the guard, arms and legs swinging freely, his gait as loose as could be. But before he walked by, he felt something grab his shoulder, halting him. His optics immediately fell upon that which had stopped him. He growled internally, but remained nonchalant.

“Maybe I need to use my voice for you to understand, squeaker,” said the guard.

Scowl’s optics flicked from the hand gripping his shoulder to the guard. Oh, how he wanted to remove it...by tearing it off the fragger’s wrist and shoving it up his aft. Or in his mouth. That was also an appealing alternative.

“You know, squeaker, my voice.” The guard gave Scowl a cruel smile. “It really gets the point across, doesn’t it? Not that you would know. I can barely hear you when you talk.”

Squeaker. Scowl winced at the insult, an involuntary action he was powerless to cease from happening. That was this guard’s nickname for him, and every time he said it, Scowl endured the sting it left him with.

You’re history. You just don’t know it yet, pal, but lucky for you I’ll be kind enough to remind you of that fact one day.

The Monstercon looked at the guard. The guard looked back, his cruel smile telling the saboteur -- knowing -- that the blow had struck him deep. They stood in the corridor, motionless, optics locked in silent combat, while the prisoners, heading to their cells, strode by like water flowing around a rock that juts from the stream.

Scowl wasn’t sure why this particular guard had decided to target him; the staff working here in the penitentiary were generally fair and sensible. Scowl himself was a well behaved prisoner. He did what he was told. He didn’t cause a fuss. But ever since this rusted bolt had turned up, he’d been nothing but trouble for the Monstercon.

“You can let go of me now.”

That damned inhibitor claw. It had stolen his once magnificent voice, leaving in its place a ragged whisper that dropped to the ground like dead weight before it reached the audio receptors. Everybody he spoke to had difficulties hearing him, so weak and fragile was his voice. That damned, damned inhibitor claw!

“You can--”

“Keep moving, squeaker. The activity cycle is over. You’re my wasting time, and I have things to do.” The guard removed his hand from Scowl’s shoulder and pushed him forward. “Move.”

It took a lot, but Scowl obeyed, suppressing the urge to lash out. As he turned and marched away, he avoided looking at the guard, fearing his suffering would be as visible as the paint scheme that coloured his frame.

“I will get my voice back,” he said to himself, as he made his way to his cell.

And he would. No matter what.

“I will get my voice back.”

He would get his voice back.

“I will get my voice back.”

He would get his voice back.

Appearance: Snow Cat is a small, primarily light blue and white, with patches of navy along his legs. His chest is formed the front of his vehicle form, the tires of the more ending up on his shoulders and hips. The safety bars in his alt. mode are wrapped a rounded each arm.

Profile: Snow Cat is an explorer. That is his passion. Whether previously mapped out or going into the unknown, if he hasn't been there, he wants to. He claims to have been to some of the most dangerous parts of Cybertron itself, though the validity of many of these claims may be up in the air as he doesn't always remember to bring a scanner or mapper with him.

War was his worse nightmare. He didn't want to get involved in the conflict, even though his sympathies laid with the Autobots. It's not that he is a pacifist, he just doesn't like fighting. When it became impossible for him to continue to do what he loved, he bit the bullet and joined the Autobot cause, giving his skills as a scout.

He's not highly impressive, doesn't have a large skill set, and isn't the first to remember for missions, but he doesn't let this get him down. He knows what he can do and is willing to do whatever is asked to end the war so that he can return to what he loves. He's a friendly, quiet bot, not one to quickly make friends, though.

Upon coming to Earth, he was delighted to find many places in need of good mapping. As such, he's taken it upon himself to update the human's dark spots on their maps as much as he can.

Abilities: In ways of weapons, he has a small variety if he needs to fight. The rods along his arms can unfold out to act as tonfas in hand to hand combat. Failing this, he also carries a small sword that he's no amateur at using. In vehicle mode, he can move at speeds of 220 mph over most all terrain. Also in vehicle mode, he is armed with a small machine gun turret, which while not powerful, is enough to provide return fire when retreating. He also carries a built in scanner in his left arm. His fuel consumption is also at optimal efficiency, making him use less Energon than an average bot.

Weaknesses: Snow Cat, in short, is a terrible fighter. His best combat skill is his swordplay, which could be easily overcome by his weak strength. He's also not hard to knock out in a fight. He is lacking in longer range weapons, the only one he has is the machine gun turret that could do a little damage, is mainly used for distraction when running away.

Sample Post: Canadian Wilderness
Snow Cat flew down what could charitably be called a road. Even his alt. mode's more advanced suspension was beginning to become strained. This path was probably centuries old, grown up by years of not being used. Snow Cat was sure he was the first one in decades to even be down this road. The natives didn't even have any electronic copies of maps for this part of their world. Better for him.

A blip came onto his scanner. Huh, what is that? It was coming from a place deep into the woods, off the path. Snow Cat sighed. Only 'Bot out here... probably should check it out.

He opened his comms. >>"Snow Cat to base. Unknown signal at my location. Signature Cybertronian. Moving to investigate."<<

>>"Acknowledged, Snow Cat. Proceed with caution."<<

Snow Cat signed off and converted to robotic form. He checked the scanner on his left arm. After a second, he managed to get his bearings and started into the woods. He contemplated turning off the recorder. Eh, no mapper will be out here in years. Just gonna clean out evidence of the signal later.

He brought his attention up to the direction he was getting the signal from. He could hear faint noises that were slower increasing in volume as he continued getting closer. As he approached closer, he could tell they were the metallic clank of footsteps.
Snow Cat slowed and took a look at his scanner. The signal was in a clearing less than 50 feet away. The thick tree cover made it impossible to see clearer. What the scout could make out was a movement and the occasional glimmer of sunlight hitting a reflective surface.

He went for his sword slowly as he came within fifteen feet. The Minibot snook a look between a couple trees... and frozen. There was a pod, Cybertronian. It looked as though it had been there for a little bit. Had Snow Cat time, he'd take a quick moment to research any local myths about a star or something falling from the sky. But he didn't have time, as the pod's occupants, who had probably been in stasis since the pod wrecked, were setting up a distress beacon. A Decepticon distress beacon. The two here were Seekers.

Snow Cat stood still for a few minutes, watching the two fliers work. He was sure he was too tiny to be-

"Hey, uhhh... what's that?"

Scrap. One had seen him, or at least part of him. One began to walk over as Snow Cat quickly turned around. Scrap, scrap, scrap! He took off running as fast as he could. A blast from an arm mounted laser tore through a tree beside him. He ran faster, trying to get back to the road. If he could make it there, maybe he could lose them...

Weapon: Railgun
Figured I'd make a full length app for him because I plan on getting him up a little bit. Just a quick clarification, his Engineering Multitool is basically meant to be a mechanic's Swiss Army Knife of sorts, with a bunch of different drivers and spanners and whatnot. His heat blades are stored in his forearms and extend to about short-sword length. Think Assassin's Creed styled hidden blade of sorts. They're not really meant for combat though, they're more for soldering/welding things together.

He likes paying attention to every detail of the world around him. This helps him greatly while he's doing his work. However, strikingly enough, Ignition is surprisingly skilled for his humble looks. Stick around with him long enough and you'd discover that he's got some clever tricks up his sleeve.

Abilities:
Ignition is a skilled engineer, well versed in repairing and improving mechanical and electrical components of any sort of machinery. He pays much attention to fine details, and this helps outside of engineering as well. He has an Engineering Multitool, which contains many different kinds of drivers, drills, rulers and other engineering tools. He can adjust it for almost anything. He also has two heat blades, that can be used as regular knives, but they aren't meant for combat. They can heat up to 5000°C and are mostly used to weld metal. Ignition is also quite crafty and can improvise and make primitive weapons out of spare parts.

Weaknesses:
Ignition isn't very well suited to combat and he's not very fast in alternate mode.

Profile: Pointblank comes off as a quiet, quick-to-action bot. He cares little for unnecessary words, as they cause conflict, and conflict just drives the never-ending civil war. It's said war that makes Pointblank who he is. He's weary of the whole thing, but fights because he knows that every battle won is a step closer to ending the war. That is a time he looks forward to, though he knows that may never happen in his lifetime. It's such opinions that make Pointblank come off as depressed, while he sees himself simply a realist.

Abilities: Pointblank carries a 'sonic blaster' which fires compressed sound waves at a target, causing damage and potentially stunning the target. He's an above average marksbot.

Weaknesses: Pointblank slower than most in his vehicle form. His general standoffish demeanor and possible pessimistic outlook can isolate him from allies.

Appearance: Stargazer is a white 'bot with purple lines and highlights, particularly in his arms and chest. His chest is formed by his alt. mode and his layout is similar to a Seeker. The most notable difference is the wing formation on his back, which are in a "X" formation. His vehicle is reminiscent of a Star Wars X-Wing with the wings having a forward sweeping motion.

Profile: Stargazer's preferred profession is to be on a starship, exploring the galaxy for future generations. War made this impossible. So, instead, he decided to sign up to join the Autobot's flying forces, adding his rather decent dogfighting skills to their numbers. However, he was hoping to get a detail abroad a starship as an officer, behind some maps, he'd hope.

This said, Stargazer is extremely OCD as well. If there is a plan in place, it has to followed through to the letter. His pre-mission prep is almost ritual- Check rifle, test deflectors, restock to have exactly ten grenades, verify Energon reads are no less than 95%. If anything is off in this routine, he gets nervous to the point of panic. His normal, day to day activities (when not on assignment) follow a similar pattern that can not be broken. Reassignment or change is his worst nightmare.

Abilities: His loadout is an automatic laser rifle, which fires 15 rounds in ten seconds. He also carries ten EMP grenades, that are just powerful enough to knock out minor electronics like standard ranged weaponry and equipment. On each arm is a projector that emits a small circular shield with ability to cause most energy based weapons to bounce off it. In vehicle mode, he is capable of space flight and armed with four proton blasters for dogfighting.

Weaknesses: Stargazer isn't an infantry. He can fight in a ground combat zone, but he isn't very good at it. This is mainly due to his accuracy, mostly with his grenades could be a liability to him and his team. He also can't mentally handle a plan going off rails, so unless he has someone who can help calm him, he turns into a useless mess. Also, his deflectors use energy up quickly if they are constantly bombarded.

Sample Post: Orbit over Cybertron

Stargazer finished checking over his rifle. Barrel, in and out, were clean. All parts were in working order. Safety was on and working. Sight cleaned and aligned with only a .002 discrepancy. Stargazer would've preferred to have none, but a lengthy lecture from Wheeljack, Ironfist, Brainstorm, AND Ultra Magnus (just to be sure) told him that .002 off was as perfect was possible.

Satisfied, he strapped the weapon to his back, butt end behind his right shoulder and pointed downward to the left. Deflectors next. Stargazer activated the right one first, like normal. He pressed a button on the wall while positioning the shield at a small barrel sticking out the wall. The test weapon fired a bolt, bouncing off the shield and up at the ceiling. Right side works. He tested the left. The test shot missed the mark by 3 degrees. Stargazer cursed silently and recalibrated the shield. Test shot hit perfectly.

Next were grenades. His supply had been running low, but he should have enough for this mission, and Ironfist said he'd have him some soon anyways. Stargazer looked into his personal stockpile and pulled out the remaining grenades. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8... Wait, only eight?? Only eight?!!

Stargazer drew in a deep breath. No worries. He could just check with Ironfist. He'd be sure to have some in stock now. He opened his comms and said in a low, calm voice, >>"Stargazer to Ironfist. About to go out and I need a couple grenades. You have some, right?"<<

The engineer's chipper voice came through. >>"Oh! Stargazer! Hey, been busy, so I haven't been able to get them ready yet. They should be ready by the time you return. Hope that's alright, sorry about that!"<<

No! That is most certainly NOT alright. In no universe was having only eight grenades would be alright!! Stargazer almost shouted back at Ironfist. Instead, he gulped down the thought and nodded slowly. >>"Y-yeah... alright. Stargazer out."<< He closed the comms and contemplated putting the grenades away. No use only bringing eight. He sighed and put away three of them. Five was better than eight.

Finally, he checked his Energon readings. 94.8%. Nooooope. Nope, nope, nope. >>"Stargazer to Ultra Magnus. Sir, is there any way I can fuel up before we leave?"<<

>>"Negative, Stargazer. Report to the hanger bay at once."<<

Scraaaaaap. He couldn't go. His levels were too low! They would bottom out to quick! Stargazer raced down towards the hanger, desperately hoping there was a chance he could convince the City Commander otherwise.

Profile: Autobots loathe the sight of Doomshot, and even some Decepticons. His presence causes sparks to flicker. His eerie green optics peering through his dark visage send shivers down the spine of any mech on his bad side. With a constant and almost stoic 'you shouldn’t have done that’ facial expression, no-one knows when he’s about to strike.

Doomshot doesn’t speak his mind often. Even though he does speak, he uses language to his advantage to keep his foes guessing. What makes him more eerie to those surrounding is his seemingly unchanging mood when he goes from passive to aggressive. You won’t even know he IS aggressive until he’s already ripped your head off.

Doomshot is however extremely loyal to the Decepticon cause. He takes the insignia very seriously. He’s especially loyal to Megatron. Doomshot sees him almost like a distant mentor. He is careful to not let his idolization of Megatron ruin his persona, however. Only his closest of ‘brothers' know of his obsession.

Though some other Decepticons see him as uncharismatic and uncaring, Doomshot is very charismatic among those in his inner circle. Though he may not speak much to anyone but his true brother Hazard, he wants to be sure his whole team is taken care of.

Doomshot is very skilled in many forms of combat, but mostly ones revolving around quick and powerful strikes. His skills lie in the ability to kill quickly and with as little effort as possible. Whether it be through melee or a show of intense firepower, Doomshot wants surrounding enemies to feel an intense dread after he kills one of their allies quickly and with no hesitation.

Abilities:Doomshot sports a fusion cannon on his right arm, which also in turn transforms into an energon arm sword. Though powerful, the fusion cannon is not as devastating or large as that of Megatron’s. Rather, it's more compact and easy to maneuver for melee. However, it’s still a highly intense and damaging weapon. Its arm sword configuration is that of an energon medium length sword.

Doomshot’s alt mode is that of a Cybertronian superheavy fusion cannon mounted tank. This mode is built with many tons of armor for supreme endurance due to the slowness of the mode, though the extra weight does make this mode even slower than without it. His tank mode moves at 59mph top speed.

His high endurance and melee training means Doomshot has what it takes to get in close and tear his foes apart with his own hands, with maybe a bit of help from his arm sword. But most of all, Doomshot has a very high level of firepower capability. Meaning, he doesn’t always have to get in close to scare his foes to death (sometimes more literally than not).

Weaknesses: Doomshot’s weaknesses lie in low charisma regarding Decepticons outside of his inner Eradicon circle. Though he may consider this an advantage, that’s not always the case.

Sample Post:

The sound of gunfire and ghastly screams pierced the environment in the Thanatos. Doomshot sat quietly in his personal quarters of the ship listening intently. It wasn’t too rare for a fight to break out within a Decepticon ship. However, this one sounded more intense and severe than regular.

Doomshot stood up from his seat where he was treating his weapons, left his room, and stepped into the corridor. As he did so, he commed his fellow Eradicon brothers aboard the ship with a deep, monotone voice.

>>”Care for some.. investigation?”<<

Clearly, this fight wasn’t something of normal Decepticon bar brawling. For it was coming from above, and not from the lounge below. Doomshot treaded these halls with heavy yet precise footsteps, and with the never fading green glow in his optics piercing the dim lighting he strode through.

Oddly enough, Doomshot felt a slight dread in his spark for the upcoming encounter. He didn’t know why, especially since he normally strove for the opportunity to show his abilities in a fight. But he knew something dark was in the air. Darker than the light in the corridors he walked.

Profile:
Dreadnaut doesn't speak much. He's a mech of almost no words. This mysterious air around him has caused many to not even know of his name, and those that do are the ones that have heard him speak. Why Dreadnaut keeps so much to himself, only Primus knows. His large stature and quietness has earned him the nickname "Tower" by his fellow Eradicons. He's well loved by his superiors, because he always quietly follows whatever orders are given to him, no matter how moral or immoral the command may be.

But his quiet, conforming behaviour isn't just an act of mindlessness. He secretly just wants the war to end. He thinks that rising through the ranks following every command will let him have enough power one day to stop things. Sometimes, he hates some of the commands he's given. Though his actions and his faceplate may not show it, his metal is being scratched under the surface. But he still believes that with every action he does, he'll get closer to having his dream come true.

Dreadnaut's mental frustrations tend to built up a lot due to his secrecy, which ends up turning his actions harder and more ruthless. He'd fire several shots instead of a single one if he's frustrated enough. He doesn't believe in the Decepticon cause, nor the Autobot one, but he prefers Prime as a leader more than Megatron, due to his approach at actually trying to end the war. He doesn’t voice this opinion for very obvious reasons. But his appearance and his situations would only allow him to land with the Decepticons. Thankfully, he’s found refuge amongst a group who call themselves the “Eradicons”, with whom he’s able to comfortably speak his mind.

Abilities:
Dreadnaut is a large Decepticon, and his frame is built for heavy duty combat. His missile battery vehicle mode can achieve a maximum speed of 55 mph, and has multi-terrain treads to travel across many kinds of terrain. He is incredibly strong and his armour is tough, and his arsenal is made to match. In both modes, his primary weapons are his two multi-shot missile launchers, capable of firing 6 large rockets each at once. He also has access to a plasma turret in vehicle mode, which is located behind his cab. In robot mode, he gains access to his handheld mortar and his cluster large machine gun. The former can shoot smaller versions of the missiles in his battery launchers while the latter is a combination of two fast-firing machine guns that can unload several bullets from each barrel within seconds. Finally, to top off his arsenal, he carries several combustion grenades, but rarely uses them.

Weaknesses:
Dreadnaut is not especially fast, but this is made up for by his ability to travel over most terrain. He also doesn’t speak much to anyone outside of his unit, which can be difficult as there can be a verbal barrier between whoever is trying to get him to respond (since he mostly just listens and follows along).

Sample Post:
Thud. Thud. Thud.

Heavy footsteps filled the abandoned gas station. It was late at night, but this wasn’t a subtle, stealthy mission. No, it was an all out, full frontal assault. Slag was about to go down.

Except, in Dreadnaut’s head, it wasn’t quite what he wanted to do. It was just a normal building with some Autobots resting inside. Taking refuge. Trying to escape. Why should he let them die? They probably only wanted some rest, some time to be free and do things they loved.

>>”Dreadnaut, you are taking too long! Finish them off and return NOW!.”

Tower switched off his comm-link. He’d had enough. Drawing up his mortar onto his shoulder, he aimed down the sights. Please, forgive me.

A glow of orange and clouds of ash and dust expanded. Yet no sound reached his audio receptors. He was already gone.

Okay, this looks pretty good. I see you took 4 points off for the small deflector shields on his arms, which is fine. However, the EMP grenades are considered a special ability, as well. Thus, an additional stat penalty will have to be applied to them. In this case, you'll need to take off another 4 stat points from the total combined if you want to keep the EMP grenades. If you don't want to lose any more points then I'm afraid you'll have to remove the grenades. Your call.

Anyway, make the adjustments needed, repost the app and I'll have another look at it.

Looks solid. Approved. Rank 5. Have fun with him! :D

Profile: Above all, Aegis protects. Sworn to Megatron, Aegis is a veritable champion of the Decepticon cause. He fights with utter and complete loyalty to his lord and master Megatron. However, his devotion is not blinding as it is for many Decepticons. Having made his binding, Aegis enjoys an objective view of the Decepticons tinged with the wisdom of many years. Despite having some reservations about the direction that the Decepticons are going and concerns about his lord’s mental state after millions of years of war, Aegis does his best to shepherd others and kindle the light within them. Whether that mean being an advisor, shoulder to lean on, a shining example, or what have you, he does it gladly, considering it to be the most basic and inherent of his duties.

A rather ancient Cybertronian, Aegis has lived through many an age on Cybertron. His primary post was within the Primal Vanguard. As a knight, he pledged himself to various masters through the eons. Some disappointed him. Others, he was honored to serve. However, Cybertronians in positions of power never seemed to be that long lived despite his best efforts. It vexed Aegis so that he retreated to the more desolate regions of Cybertron to hone his skills until a worthy master could once again rekindle the spark of passion within him.

This new master came in the form of Megatron, fighting for the common mech against an oppressive rule. In the beginnings of the war to come, however, Aegis found himself admiring the way one of their opponents led. This opponent was Optimus Prime. In Prime, Aegis saw what he could become and sought to model himself after the Prime. While Aegis might not have agreed with Prime’s mission, he deeply admired his methods. This developed into a condition called Primus Apotheosis.

Abilities: Aegis is as his namesake implies. A shield. Meant to combat at close range rather than from afar, he is equipped with an energo-sword and shield with the Decepticon insignia emblazoned across its features. He primarily focuses on protecting high value assets during missions. For ranged combat, Aegis possesses a standard issue laser rifle, more meant to provide suppressive and cover fire than deliver a fatal blow.

One of Aegis’s greatest assets is his physicality. He’s tough, durable, hits hard, and has the skill to back it up. But, above all, his courage gives him the spark to go into the thick of battle with unflinching resolve. In alternate mode, Aegis can reach of up to about 60 mph and has a front mounted spike that serves as a battering ram/lance.

Weaknesses: While entirely loyal to the Decepticon cause, his condition of Primus Apotheosis makes his opinions mightily unpopular amongst most Decepticons. In addition to that, he’s unflinching in his beliefs and stubborn to a fault. He also has this habit of self-sacrifice, emulating that certain someone that he admires.

Sample Post:
Outer Hull

Sitting alone on the outer hull of the Decepticon warship Thanatos, Aegis found some peace and quiet for a bit of contemplation. He faced outward, away from the blue planet that they orbited and toward the stars. One among them was their home. Their Cybertron. How he longed to return to it one day.

Letting out a sigh that did not travel into the vacuum surrounding him, Aegis offlined his optics. Ordinarily, he came here to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy goings on of the ship. More recently, it had been because the ship and his spark felt emptier without Lord Megatron’s presence to spur them on.

Earlier, something a little odd had occurred. An unusual vibration in the ship. Aegis had thought to investigate it, but eventually dismissed the matter entirely. If they had been under attack, the Autobots would have struck with force, and he saw no battle cruisers surrounding them. That was enough to reassure him.

His blue optics flicked back online after a long while. No. It was not enough to reassure him. Even with lord and master gone…surely, this ship was still worth protecting. His cause. He would go to investigate. Rising up, Aegis made his way back toward the hatch that would lead into the ship.

Patchwork

Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Medic
Alt. mode: (Cybertron) Cybertronian Truck/(Earth) Truck
Weapons: Semi-Automatic Laser Gun, Multi-Tool Hand
Height: 26ft / 7.92m
Quote: "Let's see if this works..."

Dexterity: 4
Speed: 4
Endurance: 4
Courage: 8
Firepower: 4
Accuracy: 5
Melee: 5
Tech Skill: 8
Charisma: 4
Rank:

Profile: Depending on who you ask, Patchwork is either a talented self-taught medic, a lucky fool playing with power tools or a mad scientist butcher. It's true, before the war he wasn't a medic but rather a simple, aging dock worker. Rather than join in the frontline, he learned the basics of putting back his fellow bots together either from experience or from observing more competent doctor. While he has gotten rather good at his job, he's nonetheless a rather unorthodox and unsanctioned medic. Both paradoxically jovial and grumpy, with odd mood swings, he is just as likely to tell a 'bot that he 'knows what he's doing' with a big smile just as much as he's going to tell them they are a lost cause...only to nonetheless try to put them back together even sometimes at the cost of his own parts.

Abilities: Patchwork is a self-taught medic and a good (or maybe just lucky) one. Despite his average nature or age, he's scarily unafraid of damage or death. His right hand transform into multiple tools, such as cutters or drills. Beyond that, his only weapon is a rather plain-yet-reliable semi-automatic laser gun, the type which makes loud sound effects.

Weaknesses: Not much of a fighter overall and rather average in most abilities. Unorthodox repair methods carry risks. A bit too eager to save others at the cost of his own body parts, if not life.

Sample Post:
"Let's see here, what do we got?" Patchwork ask as he kneel down to look at the damaged Autobot soldier. Not his first one for the day, far from it. Business as usual, even. "Hm, hrm, mhm. Open wounds, exoskeleton torn open. Aaaaand massive internal damage. Hrm, ayup." The old bot mumble to himself as he observe the torn parts on that poor autobot. Mumbling apparently helped, as if his aging braincase was slowly losing it's effectiveness.

"D-doc! Help!" His patient plead, raising a hand toward the paramedic-autobot, the other on his wounds where sparks erupt. A gaping hole, which would certainly be a far more lethal wound in a different species.

"Now hold still, will you? I can't promise you any miracle." Patchwork add as he transform his hand into the necessary tools to cut, pry open, cauterize and weld whatever body part a cybertronian may need repaired. Or to flat out remove the damaged part and reroute whatever pieces and organs one can live without in the short term. Hence his name, Patchwork. Because at the end of the day? The old bot is no formerly prestigious pre-war doctor or talented mnemosurgeon. No, that isn't what Patchwork is: he's a trench doctor. The bot whose only function is to put a damaged or dying Autobot back together so he can live the next cycle. A crude and somewhat thankless job at time but one he is dedicated to nonetheless. The chop shop and piles of mangled metal were his domain and he'd be damned if he'd leave a 'bot to go offline. He'd give up a hand or two for a fellow bot and in some cases he certainly did give up a few components for emergency repairs, leaving his chassis scarred. Such was the way of life for a self-sacrificing trench medic.

"Oh, well, this seems like it's fixable. Sure I'll have to take a few pieces here and there and make some bypass but, all in all, you should be fine! Now you may experience some...slight...discomfort." Patchwork grunt as he extend his tool-hand into the wound to connect the mechanical parts of cybertronian anatomy in some unorthodox ways. As he does that, a much shower of sparks erupt from the wound, causing the other medics and assistants around him, all equally busy, to nonetheless look in horror. That wasn't standard Autobot medical procedure. Some would liken it to Decepticon torture, even! "There. We! Go! Congratulations, you're not going into a recycle pile yet! Now, as I've mentionned this will be extremely uncomfortable! You will experience all manner of system errors, you'll feel like your insides are burning and most likely you will be leaking in a few places but at least you're not dead, right?" Jovially said the aging bot with a smile as his patient remained speechless at the butchering of his insides, even if they had indeed saved his life and prevented him going offline from his injuries. At the very least, he'd be able to transform and roll out...to find more permanent repairs.

Because not every mad scientist is evil or has a doctorate. Some are just unorthodox average joes. Yes, I know, he's undercapped with his tech spec, that is deliberate. And yes I know 'old medics' are overplayed especially when named Ratchet but I like to think I can take the concept and at least try to give it a different spin or vibe.

Profile: Nacelle is almost as much at home on the battlefield as he was back in his old laboratory. He has a keen mind for the sciences that allowed him to work with fellow scientists. While he was on Cybertron, Nacelle engineered and modified wing designs used for the second wave of Earth-bound seekers, eventually adapting one of the prototypes into his own chassis. Due to his longing to return to his laboratory work, Nacelle can become absent minded during a battle. Nacelle's overall effectiveness however outweighs any liability he may cause. He may not be as good at flying as most of the other seekers, and his not-inconsiderable knowledge of Cybertron’s history may cause him to get a bit muddled-up occasionally, but at heart, Nacelle just wants to prove he's just as good as some of those more famous Decepticons.

Abilities: Nacelle can fly at speeds up to Mach 2.7 and his high-power turbines can somewhat increase his speed for a short period of time. In a laboratory setting, his keen mind allows him to contribute to the Decepticon cause any way that he can, particularly

Weaknesses: Nacelle’s desire to prove that he can be just as good as some of the more famous Decepticons could potentially cause him to become liability while on the battlefield.

Sample Post:
Nacelle sat in his well-beloved laboratory on Cybertron and worked up designs that could be well suited for fellow fliers. He remained hard at work coming up with the designs on his data-pads and consoles. While doing so, he worked through intense and lengthy calculations. Once, he felt that everything looked good in the plans and ready to develop prototypes, he proceeded to gather the necessary materials. He continued to work on the prototype until he had a finished product.

Once the prototype was complete, he gazed at the modifications on the wings and instantly pleased with himself. Now, he just had to run the prototype through the necessary tests to determine if the prototyped wings would be proven useful to the Decepticon cause as well as for his fellow seekers. He put the modified wings that have high-powered turbines in them through various important as well as necessary tests in a laboratory setting, the data revealed that they could work in a real-life setting and on a Cybertronian. Now it was just a matter of testing them on an actual Cybertronian. While thinking about who ought to try the newly modified wings, he gazed at his own wings, which were very similar to the rest of the seekers present in the Decepticons. He figured that he would get some accurate results, he might as well as modify his own wings. A drone came in just as Nacelle was hoisting himself up onto a berth in his laboratory. While the seeker was in temporary status, the drone proceeded to modify Nacelle’s wings so that they would have high-powered turbines. After much time has passed, Nacelle came to and noticed that drone did what he needed him to do. He was fully pleased with the result. Also, he noticed that the drone modified his tail fins. At first, he was not too thrilled, but he figured that he could try them since the modified tail fins could potentially help him fly better and be as good as the rest of the seekers.

My apologies for taking so long on this app. Real life's been a bit busy lately.

Anyway, this character looks workable. Approved. Rank 5. You can post his profile up in the Custom Autobots section, minus the sample post, and then make an entry in the Roll Call section and you'll be good to go. If you want him on Earth you can start him on one of the Autobot ships. Although, there are already a lot of medics there so you could always start Patchwork in the Kol System thread with Thunderclash's crew who just escaped from Skyquake's Predators. There's a few 'bots there that could use patching up I'm sure.

Either way, have fun with him and welcome to the RPG! :D

Profile: Nacelle is almost as much at home on the battlefield as he was back in his old laboratory. He has a keen mind for the sciences that allowed him to work with fellow scientists. Weapon: Railgun
I'm going to post him here to get him started off, so that way it's easier for me to develop the profile with all the mods in here. So far, everything in the profile, abilities and weaknesses section is copied from the Dreamwave MTMTE profile, but I think that it could still use a lot of improvement. I worked with MSB, Insidious and some others to do the stats so far. I'm still a bit unsure on Speed and Accuracy, speed mainly because each one of his alt modes is different. He has a jet that go near-orbit and also a drill tank which shouldn't be that fast. Sample post will come once the profile is complete. I just want some input on this and how I could add and expand it properly.

Quickswitch

Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Assault Warrior
Alternate Modes: Assault Hovercraft, Armoured Battle Cruiser, Cybertronian Feline Beast, Armor-Piercing Drill Tank, Suborbital Fighter Jet
Weapons: Photon Blasters, Electro Handguns
Special Abilities: Six-Changer, Faster Transformation Speed, Stealth Shield (in Beast mode)
Height: 36ft / 11m
Quote: “A confused enemy is a defeated enemy.”

Strength: 7
Intelligence: 7
Dexterity: 8
Speed: 7
Endurance: 7
Courage: 8
Firepower: 7
Accuracy: 7/8
Melee: 7
Tech Skill: 6
Charisma: 5
Rank: 7

Profile:
Among those rare Transformers who are biomechanically inclined to multiple transformations, Quickswitch is the first Autobot Six Changer. His capacity to change fom is written so deep in his spark that it dominates his entire personality. He's moody at best and unstable at worst - Quickswitch can't maintain an emotion or feeling for very long before it turns into something else, often entirely different. Witnesses have reported him exhorting his comrades to show mercy before a battle and then tearing through Decepticons with all the compassion of an energo-scythe. Quickswitch's problem is deeper than a few crossed wires, and it's one that he's tried to correct... yet all medical tests show that there's absolutely nothing wrong with him in terms of mental functioning. Quickswitch suspects that the Decepticon Sixshot, the first Six Changer, may somehow possess the clue needed to equalise his own mental processes. The one unchanging thing about Quickswitch is that he's determined to get the answers to his origin and the solution to his problems.

Abilities:
Quickswitch possesses above-average strength, intelligence and overall endurance. He is a Six Changer, able to transform between modes at three times the speed of the average Transformer. Subject is a highly skilled warrior who knows how to best utilize his six-changing ability to maximize Decepticon casualties. Aside from his robot mode, he can also transform into an armoured battle cruiser, an assault hovercraft, an armor-piercing drill tank with reinforced titanium drill bits; a fighter jet with suborbital capabilities; and a four-legged beast with stealth shield capabilities. He is armed with two photon blasters in all modes, as well as two smaller handguns in robot mode.

Weaknesses:
The inconsistency in Quickswitch's thought processes sometimes makes him as confused as his enemies.

Profile: Quick witted and friendly, Hazard is a bot that everyone wants to be their friend. When lounging around base, he loves to tell stories. These stories can range from mildly true to what only can be described as tall tales of the highest order. Hazard loves to tell stories, especially those with him being the primary focus. His stories tell of his great acts of bravery and his fears on the battlefield.

In practice, though, Hazard doesn't hold up. While no coward by any means, he isn't nearly as brave as he makes himself out to be. In fact, it's usually only by the prodding of his brother, Doomshot, that Hazard can do any fighting in the slightest.

When he's fighting, Hazard takes a certain pleasure in using his unique weaponry on his opponents. The gas he makes use of is a combination of highly radioactive material and corrosive gas. The result on his victims aren't pleasant and he rather enjoys watching them writhe in pain.

Hazard's various personality issue and quirks stem from the fact that he constantly feels that he has to get out from his brother's shadow. While not lacking in personal self-esteem, Hazard is always trying to outdo Doomshot.

Abilities: Hazard has developed a gaseous chemical mixture of corrosive acid and radioactive material. This gas, when used on another Cybertronian, can disrupt optics, audio receptors, and sensors for a brief period of time, depending on the durability of the target. In addition, this gas also corrodes metal. Hazard can use this gas in three forms. He can spray the gas using sprayers mounted under his arms, pellets in his pistol, and loaded into warheads on his alt mode. Hazard's sword is coated with radioactive material that can disorient his foes when it comes in contact. Hazard is an accomplished and able flier. In vehicle form, Hazard can reach 2200 miles per hour, with a range of 2300 miles.

Weaknesses: His armor isn't exceptionally strong. If caught in a bad position, his gas can prove to be harmful to him or his allies. Thanks to his weapons of choice, Hazard is very easily detected by any sort of scanning equipment. If apart from Doomshot for extended periods of time, Hazard can develop separation anxiety that will lock him down and keep him from doing much of anything. Sometimes, to prove his worth, Hazard can strike out on his own, which can be quite perilous.

Sample Post: "Doom! Doomy! Where are you?"

Hazard was starting to get worried. He nervously paced the halls and corridors of the base, looking for his brother. After consulting several other Decepticons, Hazard learned that Doomshot had been on guard duty for several breems.

He rushed to where his brother had been stationed. He wasn't there. Taking a look around, Hazard saw blast marks, upset ground. There'd been a struggle here.

No no no no no! Hazard fell to his knees. W-what am I supposed to do?!

He shook his head. Get a hold of yourself! Just go inform the base commander.

So he did. The large mech that was in charge looked at him and laughed. "It's his how fault if he got himself captured. Why should I spare the 'bots to save his sorry aft? If you want him back so badly, use those skills you're always bragging about and get him back yourself."

Hazard grumbled and left. Why don't you rescue him? He'll owe ya one, and they'll see how good a warrior you are!

With that determination, Hazard took to the skies. Following the trail the mechs who had Doomshot was easy. His much larger sibling was probably making things difficult for his captors and leaving a very noticeable path.

Almost two astro-hours later, Hazard was racked by enemy fire. He screamed in terror. Doomshot usually took care of the anti-air stuff for him.

Hazard fell back, only for the gunfire to follow him. He was an easy target, with his bright colors and being so easily found on sensors. Seeing no better option, Hazard turned back to the source of his trouble and opened his tanks.

The scene below could only be described as beautiful. Hazard watched with glee as the three Autobots manning the gun placement feel over, writhing and screaming as all their senses went blind and their faceplates melted.

Continuing his trek, Hazard finally came across the group that had his brother. He transformed and and hit the ground, charging at the nearest Autobot. He laughed as his foe took a face full of gas, crying out and falling to the ground.

A second Autobot opened fire, causing Hazard to duck and pull out his pistol. He loaded it and returned fire, striking the Autobot and his partner. The last one struggled with the shackled Doomshot. Hazard took his chance, pulling out his sword and impaling the Autobot in his side.

Hazard took the bonds off his brother. "C'mon Doom. Let's go home."

Profile: Blackout is seemingly a natural leader. He's charismatic, friendly, and tends to make rousing speeches about honor and duty. He's also an able fighter, with the skill and power to back up his words. That being said, when faced with any bit of pressure or stress, all those fine qualities go out the window. Blackout at heart cares only for his own self-preservation, and will bail at the first sign of defeat. Despite this, he will at least try to hold back some of his more negative traits if he needs to save face in some form.

Abilities: Blackout is well-versed in combat techniques, both short and long ranged. He has above average strength and durability. Blackout also possesses an EMP blast, triggered by stomping his feet onto the ground. This blast can stun other Cybertronians and short out electrical equipment.

Weaknesses: Despite his array of combat skills, Blackout is a coward at spark. While he doesn't balk at combat, he will without fail tuck tail and run if he thinks he can't win. This is especially true when it comes to close-quarters combat. This also makes him incredibly easy to trick into surrender or retreat. His EMP blast quickly can drain him, and can affect allies if used improperly.
