Yes, we shall suffer the Uwe Bay, so that we may get a continued string of over priced Transformer toys that i shall buy and stuff on my shelves, to remind me of my latch-key childhood and the fact that Peter Cullen/Optimus Prime was more a father to me than any other man my mother was doing at the time.

I love Cinema Sins.

This ep was great, it missed a few things, pointed out stuff I didn't notice (which is part of the fun of watching these) and well, it entertained me.

Not only is that unfunny, it's in poor taste and not something than any actual person who isn't a steaming douche would say. Again, classic Bay. He populates his movies with douche bags.
Also, for all the hype of "DINOBOTS!" we barely get to see them and they are inconsequential to what passes for a plot in these movies.

Honestly, Bay does these movies for the paycheck. They are virtually the same type of story over and over again with no character progression, development or investment. I admit they are pretty to look at, but story and character wise, they are absolute garbage.

THAT was all Kruger. The Dinobots were originally not going to be in this movie, with this movie instead simply foreshadowing their appearance in the next movie, but later decided that they might as well go ahead and get them into this one since they were going to use them at some point anyway and figured audiences would prefer to see them sooner than later.

I'm not watching. I have a feeling that this will be so nit picky that it's not funny. I don't mind making fun of it. The movie hate has just gotten so ridiculous. I liked them but I also do wish they were better. But they are not the worst movies ever.

Criticising your fellow members like you just did is not something we appreciate on this site.

And that goes for everyone else who feels the need to insult/attack people simply because their opinion is different to yours, especially when it comes to these movies, because you know, after 8 years or so, it's gotten really tiring. Get over it already (both sides)

there was no need for it, i just guess my hatred for bays movies blinds my logic at times.
Yes i truly dislike bays movies and always will, but ill learn to avoid arguing and just appericate the cool toys etc that are coming out.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. SlyTF1 likes the movie(s). I did too (except for DOTM). And I will say again what I always say... don't go into those movies thinking you're going to get an intricate plot and character development. Bay does action movies. If you think in those terms AOE was one of the best (in terms of plot).

I was going to watch those videos, I may still, but I have less of a desire to now. I hate nit picky people who overly critically pull apart something that is meant for entertainment.

That being said... *goes into mother mode* if someone's opinion differs from yours, that's fine. You can voice your disagreement, but there's no need to rip apart someone who feels differently.
Agree to disagree but don't beat up each other (that's my job).

After all, I've seen plenty of action films that had brilliant writing and storytelling. Inception, for one, is an action flick that is downright intellectually stimulating.

I was never happy with my choice of words, you're right, there has been some really well done action films with amazing writing and characters.

Spectacle is a much better word for what Bay does.

In the action genre there are two types, action for the sake of action and action for the sake of story telling... and they are two different things. Striking the balance is difficult and not every writer/producer can do it.
