Hell, we could use some more alt makers, Phasewing and Windracer have been busy with real life for a while, Mkall hasnt been aroudn for a while either, nor Waylander, we're short of experianced alt makers.

Or you can report it to the mods and let them deal with it.
Mkall wrote:Hey there Merc, Here's the instructions I've prepared previously. Please let me know if you have any questions and don't worry, the first few will be a mess, I guarantee it, but you'll improve.
1) Find a picture, the larger the better.
2) The two sidebars that I find most helpful are the layers and the revision history sidebars. Their use will be come apparent shortly
3) On the picture, duplicate the layer and then delete the background layer.
4) Delete everything that is not part of the desired alt. The magic wand tool is the simplest. but sometimes you'll need to get in close with the lasso tool to get everything. Don't worry about getting the perfect cut out.
5) Select some parts of the alt that you wish to be the black accents with the lasso tool. Remember that the final product will be shrunk down to 50x50 and 30x30, so don't worry about the finer details
6) When you've selected what you want, go to Layer --> New Fill Layer --> >Solid Colour. Check the box that says "group with previous layer" and make sure that the Color is None, Mode is Normal and Opacity is 100%. Click Ok, >select the colour black and click ok.
7) If you wish to add more black accents, select what you wish, then select on the fill layer and hit "Delete"
7b) If you wish to add accent lines, create a new layer over top of everything and draw the lines you want. Keep in mind that we'll be shrinking the image, so make sure that you're using a fat pencil, 9-13px usually works.
Crop the image so that the frame just grazes the extremity of each side of the image.
9) Select the base layer, and add another fill layer (Layer --> New Fill >Layer --> Solid Colour (Same settings as before)). This time choosing whatever colour you wish (web-safe colours are the preferred choice though)
10) Once you are satisfied with how your alt looks, time to shrink it down: Select Image --> Image Size and set the longest dimension (height or width) to 46 pixels and click ok
11) Select Image --> Canvas Size and set both margins to 50 pixels. Click Ok
12) Double clicking the small pic of layer 1 in the layers sidebar should bring up the Layer
Style window. If not, Layer --> Layer Style --> Stroke will get us there too. Set the stroke to be 2 pixels and black in colour. After a while, you could always make this into a preset style for easier use. Click ok.
13) If you are satisfied, save it as a .gif file. Make sure you can differentiate the large and small versions of the alt for later references. The settings on the .gif are as follows:
Palette: Local(selective),
Colours: 64,
Forced: Black and White,
Check Transparancy,
Matte: None
Dither: None.
Click Ok.
Row Order: Normal,
click Ok again.
14) On the history sidebar, go back to the step you did just before the shrinking. Now repeat steps 10 through to 13 using 26 instead of 46 and expanding the canvas to 30 pixels. Save it again as a .gif.
15) Go back to the large image and save your PSD file. You have no idea >how handy they can become if you misplace your gifs.
The Following steps are optional, but preferred. They involve preparing the altmode to be recoloured in the game. There are other ways of doing this, but this is how I do it.
1) If the altmode's previous colour is white, skip all of this. If it's not, follow these steps.
2) Open the .gif file of the picture
3) Set the Image --> Mode --> Grayscale
4) Set the Image --> Mode --> RGB Color
5) Go to Image --> Adjustments --> Exposure...
6) Slowly Drag the Exposure: bar to the right until all the grey is washed out and only the black lines remain. A black and white image is required to overlay the recolouring.
7) Save the Image As a new gif file. same settings as in step 13 of the previous steps. BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVERWRITE THE ORIGINAL GIF
Repeat process with the other sized gif.
Cheers
Mkall

A Gray Dragon from Dragoncave?
Barring the fact that it's not the proper format... You would have to track down the artist of the sprite and ask them very politely if they would allow it to be reproduced as a HMW alt.
I worked on a few of the new sprites to replace the copyrighted ones, and would be very PO'd if I found someone using my dragon art without my permission. :/

Not the best looking alt, but the thing was in an odd pose and its limbs are really thin, so... ^.^;
EDIT: I raided zOMG Wiki's Bestiary page out of boredom. No telling if I will be able to ever use these since the creatures are property of Gaiaonline, but... I did them more for fun. :>
