There used to be swarms of them at 0-2 back in the Glyph days. Like literal swarms, missions would fill with bots as soon as they were generated. Its was glorious.Ultra Magnus wrote:I personally never remember a time when bots outnumbered cons.
Pick a specific mission type? Ok, noted.Jack Hallows wrote:Monthly “Line In The Sand” tourney for noobs.
sounds like a logistcal nightmare, but great fun. I'll look into it.Smack Tallows wrote:Hell Week: Track Hell matches for a week and crown a King of Hell maybe.
We had bounty hunting before, worked well, but once everyone has been hunted once the game became stale. Will look at it again though.Nack Gallows wrote:Personal Bounties: Players can set bounties on one another or an entire team. Gotta 0 out a mech in a mission to claim it
Probably best left for (friendly) forum banter, but if you want to put scores to them, be my guestHack Jallows wrote:Rivalries: [in-event mini game] During any event, you choose an opposing commander and call them out. If they accept, the rivalry is on.
Has promise, but is a bit luck-based once above a certain level.Pack Fallows wrote:“Battle of the Tactics” Transformation Event
That's an interesting idea. We'd have to match the levels of the combatants though, so may be a bit limiting.Tack Ballows wrote:Last Mech Standing

Ill have a dig around and see what we can find. We both have very different ideas, which is why we both work so well together, means we rarely run the same game twice - she is also way better at full-on wars than I am.Wingz wrote:Psychout, I'm really excited to know what game you and Sustain are contemplating the most! Burn doesn't have feelings, that would infer he was human in some way.Sustain wrote:I have all the scrips that I've done. Though the forum doesn't go aback far enough, and a few were done on AWC/RDD areas only. Feel free to hit me up for a good read. Dependent on how Burn Feels about it I can post them here. I'm fairly sure though that it should be in the Transtopia area. However I'm not fond of it.
I might have a way to help people with that, something for some inspiration at least...Sustain wrote:I've got one. Battle texts.
Yes, there are intros to what fight we're entering, and so and so hit's XX with XX, but I mean actually fleshing out the battle. Aspire some writers to get into really play them out. Even better if you can get a rivalry going and some depth from the rival about their team.
He's made a few go there to post texts/fictions that I've seen here as of late. Which that is what it's for, though depending upon how linked it is to the game.Psychout wrote:Burn doesn't have feelings, that would infer he was human in some way.Sustain wrote:I have all the scrips that I've done. Should be okay to post here and he can link from there with his round-ups.
Worst case scenario, I can move the thread to the Transtopia forums and leave a shadow topic here.
We do want to build Transtopia up as well.

I remember reading one of those back when we had that pseudo-monthly newsletter and thought that was really cool. I was actually trying to think of a way we could tie those kinds of stories into a competition or tournament, kinda like a campaign. The story would unfold as the competition went on and the results would determine events in the story. Don’t know how one would incorporate it, and it may be a lot of work but it’s a thought.
Sweet. Va'al proof-read the comic reviews I did here when the IDW MTMTE and RID first released. I see his name around here a lot these days, nice to hear he's doing well still.Burn wrote:Talking to Va'al about scripts.
