Then I guess I'm crazy... or you are, because they look pretty damn photorealistic to me.
I Did see War of the Worlds, and I can't say I was impressed there either. CGI aint there just yet, I think. Look at the texturing on Prime, the silver panels that run along the top of the chest/windows, theyre completely flat (no bolts in them). And to be honest the metal on Prime looks like tin foil. who has said that? ILM is the best effects company to combine CG w/ real life...guess you didn't see War of the Worlds. Name an example of a movie/effects house who top that. (and don't name anything attached to Peter Jackson)
