Discharge!

Also, can MP Prowl really fit into the city leg slots of Metroplex? :michaelbay:

In case anybody is wondering, the Micromaster in the comic panel is Gingham of the Japanese Super Car Patrol. You may know the mold as Hyperdrive from the Sports Car Patrol. :)

EDIT: Or it could be Discharge...

Masterpiece Prowl in the leg holes!!??? Forget that. I'm putting WST Prowl in the leg holes. Call me a scale nazi if you wanna.

That said, what is Prowl doing there with his legs folded up weird. Looks like he's on his knees or something.

Any ideas???

I'm pretty sure they're just showing off the articulation. A lot of transformers can't actually kneel like that.

Yep. Mistransformed for sure.

I can't wait to have this Sandstorm in my fold, it's so much bolder than the Hasbro version IMO.

With all the flaws and QC issues I've heard from those that bought Hasbro Metroplex and SDCC version and that my Takara release is near perfect. :VEHI:

That's Discharge, not Roadhandler:

Or it's Gingham, maybe even Clipper

And yes, Discharge's been retconed into a female in fiction.

It's likely from the new "Metro War" manga story that's in the new Transformers Generations 2013 book, which is set after Operation Combination and United EX but before G-2. ;)

IIRC, I think Discharge is among its (HUGE) cast of characters.

Said follow up to "Metrowars" is "Metrowars 2", and if the second one is as good as the first, I can't wait for the English version! :KREMZEEK:

Well, if they are, this comic certainly isn't a clue since Metrotitan here is drawn in his old 1990 body (Metroplex got an in-story reason for his body change to his Generations body).

Man, I KNOW they're practically bricks and really cheesy, but knowing what I know NOw about the "Special Teams" and their full functionality, I kinda wish we'd get a new full set of new "Scramble City" combiner teams again. The FOC teams are a much-appreciated STEP in the right direction, but not quite there yet.

...sorry, the Battle Gaea pics made me nostalgic.

It looks like Straxus has some dark energy powers, as though he's corrupting Metrotitan into something more insidious than before.

Discharge from the 6-turbo team? Yup, they retconed her along with the other bot in 6 train iirc into another fembot. Like "Erector",a name with double meanings lol!

I'm aware he's in the original G1 body. The story could very well indicate a Metrotitan upgrade, he's been embarrassingly beaten and is heavily damaged and would likely be out for an upgrade to level the playing field because as it stands he's out matched and he knows it.

remember with the tranformers there is 'More Than Meets The Eye'.

I don't see why not. The MP cars aren't much bigger than their Classics/Universe counterparts.
