That's exactly what I did. I ordered an extra Munitioneer for my Swindle shelf. Not like I could display Bruticus along side the Combaticons according to the G1 cartoon !

These people from FansProject have real talent. I think Hasbro or TakaraTomy should try to hire them. I don't know if they would want to work on Hasbro or TakaraTomy, but they've definitely got the touch

Jeezus!! They look so amazing. The articulation!! The fact that Bla...Explorer is holding that sword with two hands is such the money shot. It's incredible that these guys transform and then also combine. I am absolutely in awe!! :shock:

The first set will be used for Bruticus. When the eventual repaints come out, I'll have those guys, with the two left over limbs from my ROTF Bruticus set as a separate team and display them in their individual bot modes.

Want to touch sooo bad now....

Still think these guys are sweet, probably even as toys on their own. My only quibble is their choice of yellow. While it does work, it's still a bit lighter than I would have hoped. Makes ya wonder if this is going to become a common thing for Fansproject items, picking shades of yellow that are just a bit lighter than some might have hoped.

I had this idea for the longest time, buying another set of these guys and picking up an extra Barricade/Onslaught then repainting them and the leftover 2 into a Ruination set. But given the likely inability these guys have to work in the standard Maximus/Scramble city combination style, as well as the somewhat high price points these guys are at, I don't think I'm thrilled enough to put out for more than one right now.

Only thing is they make the other 3 combaticons look like crap. Why dont these 3rd party companies forget about upgrades and just stick to figures ??? Make a whole Bruticus set cmon guys you know it will sell !!!

Dear God, they're beautiful. Almost brings a tear to my eye. I guess the other members will look kinda crappy next to these, but I don't care too much. It'll probably stay in Bruticus mode most of the time anyway.

Oh, Fansproject, how I love thee...

Edit: Weird, I emailed BBTS earlier today to ask how long their sale is going on, and if they still expect the first of these sets this month, and she didn't even bother answering my question about the sets.

So BBTS sales don't have set lengths apparently, they just last as long as they want to get rid of more stock?

i love that sword bare with me i dont know the names of the combiners limbs that well but does the space shuttle have to be brown couldnt be white oh whell its soemthing i can deal with.

swindle needs to be darker tan i think i find it funny on bbts they both have differnt release dates & one should have been out by now but i guess they may plan on releaseing them both at saame time if possible spaceshuttle guy coual be black & grey or black & white but there going for more g1 look i can understand that

wouldnt that be pushing there luck they got way wtih there springer figure looks nothig nlike g1 version in any way but if they did that some of the other figures may look simalr or exaclty like the g1 version igear chibi mp prime what would they call the set if they did do every bot from scratch imagine the price.? if its 100 for 2 figures maybe 150 for 3 maybe more

These figures are fantastic. It is such a pity they have been made to attach to those crappy Energon combiners. I am sure everyone who buys these will love them, but it is a miss for me. I refuse to own the energon combiners, they are craptastic. Fansproject truly is the king of 3rd party manufacturers, I cannot wait to see what is next.... ...Protector?
