I doubt it - we already get Comic-Con here. They'd want it somewhere else - besides, the Convention Center is way too big of a venue.

Now, Las Vegas... that would rock, and it's only about a five-hour drive from here. And when you're not having fun at the con, you can go hit the tables.

Anywhere within a 12 hour drive! I'm not so picky. Or I may just go for a flight to Vegas. Which would be convenient for having to fly, because you can find some cheap flights there.

And I highly recommend that anybody that can go should go. It is an absolutely awesome experience.

YOu know, I was just thinking a horrible, horrible thought reguarding this....the TF club as of late has mentioned heavil that the Universe Seacons would be released soon....yet it seems like they have no intention of putting it out any time soon......

......maybe they're planning on making it the next Botcon set.......

.....& something worse I just thought.....what if they only have 5 of the 6 in a set, similar to how they did it in the japanese BW series.....you'ld still have a complete gestalt....& the sixth was an attendee-only figure??

I'll third Philly. The expanded convention center should be finished just in time. Anywhere within 600 miles of Philly is fine for me. I just hate flying. Just flew to Ft. Lauderdale and back recently. The flight attendants kept shoving pretzels into my hands to keep me calm. That and ESPN radio and 3 magazines kept me serene. And no turbulence.

Well if it is going to be Spring '08 they better get details up fast and soon. I'm already budgeting to return, after 3 years away, to the San Diego Comic Con. Holiday travel and gift giving is being budgeted for and I need to know soon if I can work in a spring TF con.

Since we are begging for our cities then I say place it in Nashville, TN. An interstate travel guide released in 2005 said that 60% of Americans can be in Nashville in a days drive or less. A day being described as a working business day of 8-10 hours. We have 3 Interstates that come through here.

If not Nashville then I'm happy with St.Louis, Atlanta, Cincinnati or Indianapolis. Places I can drive to within 5 hours.
