I should've posted this earlier today, but I had issues logging in, thus preventing me from posting anything. But it seems everything is under control now. Anyway...

Walked into the Toys "R" Us in my town of Wilmington today, and was greeted with several pleasant surprises; lots of Masterpiece Soundwave, Acid Storm, my first sighting of Generations Sandstorm (two of him, even), and an exceptionally rare find, Prime Skyquake. Other than that, they still had those God-awful oversized Optimus Prime and Bumblebee PVCs, Fall of Cybertron Ultra Magnus, Optimus Prime, and Jazz, oddly a full stock of several Prime Deluxes that definitely shouldn't have been there, y'know, with Beast Hunters whoring the shelf space.

Despite Metroplex starting to show up in retail, he wasn't there. That was mainly the reason I went in there, to check and see if he showed up yet. Also, to my disappointment, there was no sign of the first wave of the Generations: Thrilling 30 Deluxes, as usual.

Got a BH Knockout at TTC Target yesterday. Left one each of Beast Hunters Arcee and Vertebreak. Also left a single packed legions Blight (!), no sign of the other two however.

I found a second Blight at that Target last Tuesday along with Windrazor and Air Vehicon. No sign of Rippersnapper at all. This morning, I found a another Blight and Windrazor at the Target in Wake Forest, but still no sign of Rippersnapper. And all the other Targets in the general area either have only Prime legions or Prime BH Legions wave 2.

Also found IDW Orion Pax, Megatron, and Bumblebee at the Brier Creek Target on Friday. They were already sold out of Trailcutter, and so far none of the other Targets in the area have stocked them from what I can tell. I mean, I didn't see any Bumblebees or Orion Pax warming the pegs, just FOC Optimus Prime, Jazz, Shockwave, and random Ruination units, but mostly FOC OP.

Ah, if there's Air Vehicons showing up, then there is no Rippersnapper. Don't think he's back until a revision case.

Figures the last Target I planned on checking is where I hit paydirt. After going back to recheck Brier Creek Target, then Hwy 70s, North Hills, Cary, Garner (at the 70 split), and Garner (beside I-40) Targets, in that order, I finally found more Generation IDW deluxes at the Target in Knightdale. They had two Megatrons and Bumblebees, and one Orion Pax and Trailcutter. Suffice to say, I bought the Trailcutter. According to the scanner, they still had some in the back storeroom, so they may still have another Trailcutter.

I saw a couple of the platinum Ultra Magnus at the Concord TRU today. It looked pretty cool, but at $60 hell no.

its in SC but the target on 521 just on the other side of the nc sc border has a generations grimlock and a blaster.

Found and bought Hoist and Thundercracker at the Poyner Place Target. Was still one of each when I left.

Poyner Place TRU had the Platinum Edition Grimlock vs Bruticus set. Didn't buy it as I am quite happy with the individual releases and couldn't afford to spare $100 for it.

^ D'oh, I'm still in San Diego the rest of the day Hopefully Hoist and TC will still be there tomorrow, but I won't count on it.

The Wal*Mart on Sigmund Road, Wilmington had a very nice selection. I was initially looking for the first wave of the IDW Deluxes. I was surprised to see my first IDW Deluxes in person, but not the ones I expected: they had Generations: Thrilling 30 Hoist, Thundercracker (very surprised about these two. Will be writing up a news post about this after posting this sighting), and Bumblebee! As for Beast Hunters, they still had those God-awful Deluxes. However, they did have four of the five Terrorcon Predacons: Hun Gurr, Twinstrike, Windrazor, and Blight. No Rippersnapper, sadly.

walmart on sardis rd had generations soundwave, blaster, soundblaster, and grimlock.

target in Matthews had 2 idw thundercrackers and 1 idw hoist.

tru in Pineville had 2 platinum ultra magnus and 1 platinum grimlock vs dinobots.

Bought Metroplex at the Poyner Place TRU in Raleigh, NC. They also had 2 Grimlock vs Bruticus sets and 2 Platinum Ultra Magnuses.

Went to several Targets trying to find Rippersnapper, still no sign of any store stocking or restocking BH legions, even with all of them having set up their BH PR endcaps. Really, most of the endcaps I saw looked like all they did was take stock from the main TF area and just moved it over to the endcap, leaving pegs sitting partially filled or empty in both locations. It really made for a sad and disappointing endcap that screams "We don't really care and we don't think you do either."

The Apex Target had the Bombshock and Shockwave two-pack and Cyrofire Predaking. Poyner Place Target in Raleigh NC had Cyrofire Predaking

They also had Construct-Bots Optimus Prime versus Megatron and Soundwave (didn't check to see what others they had). They still have Generations: Fall of Cybertron Frenzy & Ratbat, Eject & Ramhorn, Rewind & Sundor, and Ultra Magnus. Prime Vehicon, Kup, Rumble, Bumblebee, Wheeljack, and Knock Out were there too. One Masterpiece Soundwave and several Acid Storms were there too.

Stopped by the Raleigh TRU. They had two more Metroplexs sitting on the floor.

The New Hope Church Rd Wal-mart finally restocked with the newest Cyberverse legions. Still no Rippersnapper, but I did pick up two more Air Vehicons.

Lynn Rd. Target in Raleigh - not much to speak of, but there is a Sharkticon Megatron if anyone still needs one.

Made it by North Hills Target on saturday night. They plenty of PR Wave 1, even Sky Lynx who I haven't seen much. Also had some individual Blight/Windrazor legions.

This may be a slight spoiler, but if you want Darksteel and Sky Lynx, I highly recommend grabbing them -before- the PR DVD hits.

Found new Construct-bots Elites at the Wal-marts in Brier Creek and Poyner Place in Raleigh, NC. Hound, Megatron, and Optimus Prime are available. Picked up Hound, will pick up the others in the two pack version eventually, since that set has more weapons available and some better color schemes compared to the individual releases according to the package backs.

K-Mart on Six Forks Rd in Raleigh, NC had more of the newest cyberverse legions, 2x of Blight, Windrazor and Air Vehicon.

TRU in Poyner Place has more Titan Metroplex on the shelves.

Went by North Hills Target a couple hours ago. Everything is on sale. Had 1 Hoist and 2 Thundercrackers left, and plenty of Wave 1 Constructbots, Predacons Rising, and BH Deluxe Wave 4.

More new Construct-bots sighted, this time Scouts Bumblebee and Thundercracker at the Poyner Place Wal-Mart in North Raleigh for $9.96 each. Picked up Thundercracker and a Starscream with an imprinted number that matched Thundercracker's and was different and in a different place from the original wave one Starscreams. The new number is 32071 and it is imprinted on the back of the box next to the little hasbro logo instead of being on the bottom of the box next to the UPC.

Before anyone scrambles for a Starcream without a half-painted head, a couple of things to note: 1st, there is only one each of SS and Ironhide in a case with three TC and BB.

Secondly, and most importantly, the heads have been swapped. The Starscream comes with a fully painted head, but going by boxart, it's actually Thundercracker's with a big smirk and blue eyes (as opposed to boxart and instructions from TC's box showing red). Reversely, Thundercracker comes with a fully painted head too, but it's Starscream's with his angry grimace and red eyes. I have no idea which one is really correct since I never bought the original SS's release after hearing about Sir Half-a-Paint-job.

Also, the Raleigh TRU had one each of the first six Kreo Custom figures: OP, Megatron, BB, Soundwave, Starscream, and Ironhide.

^Just came in here to post about the Constructbots/Kreon sightings, good info about that starscream, will have to check one out.

Also the Target in the same area has the Bombshock/Shockwave Cyberverse commander two packs.

Edit: probably worth noting I cleared out the last set of Custom Kreons from that TRU and there are now none left.

Found and bought the Target exclusive Predacon Rising Construct-bot Predaking at the Knightdale Target for $24.99 + tax. Two more were left.

Knightdale, eh? Guess I know where I'm going $3 off coupon, ahoy!

Bought BH Night Shadow Bumblebee and Prowl at the Raleigh TRU this morning.

Triangle Town Target and TRU - nothing partiularly "new"; TRU well stocked with the Generations comic pack deluxes, platinum series stuff, and still has some MP Acid Storms.
