I didn't find anything I wanted on Saturday. I already got these from HTS
ImageTransformers Dinobots 1 by SacredKnightOfTomorrow, on Flickr
and would love to find
COSMOS
Deluxe Drift
Deluxe Strafe
and of course, Deluxe Waspinator.

I did get the chance to make a couple of stops on Saturday, despite having other obligations. Didn't find much, but I did get what I wanted.

Durham Target on Durham-Chapel Hill road had absolutely nothing AOE. It was all remnants of Beast Hunters stuff, plus some random voyagers like Springer and I think a Whirl.

Durham TRU is where I found my Scorn and Slug. They had 2 full sets of the wave 1 deluxes, 2 sets of the voyagers (Prime and Grimlock), the quick change guys, dino sparkers, and the big titan things. They also had the role playing stuff, like masks.

The Walmart in New Hope Commons had wave 1 deluxes (minus dinobots), leaders, and voyagers.

I was expecting a bit more from Target, to be honest. For weeks now every store has had virtually empty pegs, with all the Beast Hunters stuff on clearance. You would think that once the street date for AOE toys arrived, they would want those pegs full.

The TRU in Concord had pretty much everything on Saturday. It looks like they're the only stores that got everything out on the release date.

Went to Triangle Town Center area during lunch break, so all these stores are in that immediate vicinity:

TRU - not much to report, no MP Grimlock yet, did have two of the new Kreo building sets.
Target - They put out AOE stuff at long last. Nothing exciting, but they did have the shelf tags up for their exclusives. Granted, they didn't have them in stock, but at least the tags are there.
Walmart - They've also done their AOE reset. Had these little blind packed Mashem guys, I picked up a couple. They're whatever. They also had shelf tags for exclusives with no product to go with them.

Triangle Town TRU has Kreon blind bags, Custom Kreons, and all the building sets out. I got a full set of the bagged ones, should be roughly a full set left but I'm not 100% on that. They're in the random blind bag toy dispenser thingy to your left when looking at the rest of the Kreo stuff (weird placement, almost didn't see them).

What will really be of interest to most of you - Triangle Town Target has 3-4 each of Cosmos and Swerve. Go get 'em, they're great little toys!

Aaaand I'm talking to myself in this thread again. Oh well.

Bought an Evolution two-pack Strafe at the Triangle Town TRU. There are three left. 14.99 each.

$14.99 is a great price, since it's the same as the single packed Deluxe figures. I saw the KREO sets from the new movie there when I was at the TTC TRU on Sunday...or Wednesday?

North Hills Target in Raleigh has mostly your standard assortment of Wave 1 stuff. They do have in the exclusive Silver Knight Prime Titan and Smash/Change figures if that's your boat. Also have the Wave 2 Flip/Change Bumblebee and Lockdown figures.

I got my Grimlock/Optimus 2 pack in from Target.com yesterday. It's so bright and shiny, I may want to keep it misb for a while now.

Voyager Hound and Generations Shrapnel are due to be delivered today from hasbrotoyshop by the end of the day today.

I haven't seen a whole lot at retail besides the usual wave 1 from AOE. I did manage to grab the Strafe pack at Durham TRU last week, and also a MP Grimlock.

If anyone spots Cosmos/Swerve in the Raleigh/Durham area, please let me know. These 2 guys continue to elude me.

Cosmos/Swere *WERE* at the TTC Target a few weeks ago, all sold out now. Depending on the Target, the only things you'll find are OP/BB/Megs/SS or Tailgate/Skrapnel. Maybe there's a Target still out there with them, I just haven't been to it. Or maybe Walmart or TRU will finally stock them.

Got my Tailgate/Skrapnel at the WF Target after seeing someone else sight it on that other TF forum.

Found and bought AOE Gen. Voy.s Hound and Galvatron at the TTC TRU today. Still one of each left at the time of purchase. Also picked up the High Octane BB at Walmart after they dropped their deluxe's price to $9.96.

Thanks for the info. I was actually able to secure a set from a friend. I just have to get them from him later this week.

Some things I picked up this past week and over the weekend:

G1 Kreo Grimlock set
Voyager Galvatron
Tailgate and a second Skrapnel

Hey guys, I figured I'd cross post this here as well to invite you guys out:

Saturday, June 28

Dinner and movie with giant robits!

Meal place/time:
Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet
5:00 pm meet time.

Directions - Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet - Raleigh, NC

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Wells+Fargo+IMAX+Theatre+at+Marbles,+201+E+Hargett+St,+Raleigh,+NC+27601/Hibachi+Grill+Supreme+Buffet+NC,+Raleigh,+3131+Capital+Blvd+%23+109/@35.8005747,-78.6331612,14z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x89ac5f6d6e9a1051:0x604e8bd5703ee30c!2m2!1d-78.636087!2d35.778545!1m5!1m1!1s0x89ac593f15ba918b:0x98c2b584e33de8d!2m2!1d-78.590444!2d35.823144

We'll likely eat from around 5-6. We'll need to leave here around 6 pm so we can be at IMAX Marbles around 6:30 pm to pick up tickets and get a place in line.

Best bet for parking downtown is Alexander Square on S. Wilmington St. I don't remember if it's a paylot or not. Either way, expect to pay for parking downtown on a weekend and be happy if the opposite holds true.

Basically, from the dinner spot, we'll -

1. Turn right onto Capital
2. Stay there into downtown
3. Turn left onto Hargett
4. Turn left onto S. Wilmington
5. Parking deck is on the left
6. Go back to Hargett on foot and walk two blocks east, you'll be at Marbles

If you can't make the meet up time here, by all means just meet us at the theater at 6:30 pm [ish]:

Movie Location: IMAX Marbles
Movie time: 7:10 pm

Check here for ticket ordering information: Wells Fargo IMAX Theatre - Home Page

I'm certainly willing to do another movie meet at say North Hills, but this meet up is specifically for those who want to go to the IMAX showing of the movie. Note that the movie is specifically formatted for IMAX: http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-just-movie-31/michael-bay-explains-the-best-way-to-watch-transformers-4-age-of-extinction-180480/

As far as toy sightings, I really don't get out a whole lot. I'm more than willing to help anyone in the Raleigh area out. Feel free to pm me your contact information, and I can text you if I find something you're looking for. ScottyP and I do this a bit when we can and such.

Glad to see you in here a little! Will probably be able to do the movie thing, lmk where everyone wants to go. I like the idea of Marbles for the movie, better screen, but yeah downtown isn't good for a big group especially on a Saturday. Can always just roam up Capital a little from downtown, not much of a haul.

This is very true. SQ7 has helped me out quite a bit with finding figures that I need. ScottyP has been a big help to me too. I appreciate what you Raleigh/Durham guys have done for me..where I live the closest Target/TRU is over an hour away.

As for the movie, I may or may not be able to do the 28th..it is kind of a 50/50 situation right now, but I really want to go if I am able.

If not, I would like to see it in Raleigh with you guys at another point if possible.

If any of you guys have resturant suggestions/preferences, by all means post! Mainly, we do need a place that doesn't need a RSVP for a larger group and preferably something with quite a few choices on the menu. It needs to be relatively close to Marbles as well.

North Hills Target in Raleigh didn't have the Grimlock/OP chrome pack which I was after, but they do have plenty of the other three exclusives. Picked up the last Flip Change Lockdown - this thing is really fun. A brick, yes, but the sculpt is great and the transformation made me smile.

They also have a whole bunch of the new mini-dinosaur Rescue Bots Heatwave and Blades. For $4 they're a neat diversion.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, also have two each of Tailgate and Shrapnel. Was surprised to see them!

TTC TRU last night - grabbed the last G1 Grimlock Kreo set, which was what I went there for so that was nice. They have a gigantic display of TFs right when you walk in the door, and the main aisle for them is well stocked. Also grabbed the latest two Power Battlers (Drift and Scorn). They have quite a few each of the Slug and Grimlock Evolution 2-packs as well. Overall, just a ton of stuff. Oh yeah, whole case of latest Kreo blind-bags too.

The Concord TRU has the Slug evolution 2 pack, but it is more expensive than the standard deluxe. Which is weird since the Strafe 2 pack was the same price. The Kannapolis Target had a couple of Whirls and a Rhinox. I still can't find Cosmos anywhere

Stopped by the Smithfield Walmart on Saturday. The TF display was a bit of a mess (per usual). The only Deluxe figure they had was Crosshairs, which they had one of and I grabbed.

Otherwise, they seemed to be well stocked on the Kreo and Construct bots sets, plus they had some blind package Kreons. They also had 1 Whirl, a few Leader/Voyager class Grimlocks, 1 Leader Class OP, a few Titan Guardian OP, several Flip and Change Grimlock, Drift, OP, loads of the Power Attack Battlers, and piles of the mini plushies.

I admit, I was a bit surprised they have NO other Deluxe figures. I really hoped to find Drift or some of the Dinobots (still missing a few). Oh well...thats Smithfield for you.

^ Did Walmart have AOE Kreo? Because that would be news. Kreo is assumed to have gone TRU exclusive, but hey, never know!

Grabbed the Silver Knight OP/Grimlock chromed out two-pack at Brier Creek Target, there were three left after I got one.

Lynn Rd. Target has lots of the Flip/Change Lockdown and Bumblebees. Nothing else very interesting to report from either locale.

Just thought I'd check back in here to see if any of you guys have any suggestions for where you'd want to eat on movie night, for those of you interested in going.

I can't remember the last time I've been to a store, so nothing as far as sightings to report from me.

I can definitely make it to Marbles IMAX on Saturday. If you guys wanna meet up to eat somewhere before or after, downtown will absolutely not work on a Saturday. I can come up with plenty of food options up Wake Forest/Capital or down Glenwood/Western but need to know about how many folks we have coming.

Agreed.

Unless there are any real objections, I'm gonna go ahead and throw out the Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet at 5pm. It's large enough to accommodate a group, it's affordable, and there's certainly a variety of things to eat.

I think this would put us pretty close to the theater as well, relatively speaking. Granted you know this particular area better than me since this is your area. This area does gives us a lot of food options. Other suggestions?
