The hardened fortifications of the Maximus Line bristle with weapons and sensor emplacements, snaking along the Polyhex-Nova Cronum border, a literal wall of steel between the warring city-states. Behind it, Autobase Nu is one of the few populated areas of the once-vibrant philosopher-state. Omega Supreme, recently revived for the assault on Polyhex, stands guard, but it is unclear how long Autobot energon reserves could keep him functional should his massive presence be required again.

Prowl commands the impressive assemblage of Autobot military might in Nova Cronum. Springer and his squad rush to respond as a strange new Decepticon warrior attacks Kup and Topspin during a routine recon sortie. Could this unusual and powerful unidentified Decepticon be the forerunner of a new Decepticon assault?

Shuttle Dauntless

Slag snorted in his chair, growing ever impatient as the weather outside the shuttle grew steadily worse. "Why you Grimlock bother calling Prowl? Him just put us circling base for 10 breems while him check rulebook 50 times. Us should just call Kup and go straight to him, and slag on the landing regulations."
The grouchy dinobot then turned to Swoop, who seemed utterly consumed in keeping the shuttle steady. "Well, maybe it not be so bad if we was flying straight. You Swoop need Me Slag to get out and push?"

Shuttle Dauntless

Wheeljack had not been paying much attention to the turbulance outside of the shuttle, nor had he cared much about the conversation with in. No he was embroiled too deeply with in various lines of program code to his Sky Spy sattelite. Nothing to complex or worrisome about the codes, it was just a feeling Wheeljack had. He wasn't the primary programmer of the Autobot forces, that role was left to the likes of Chromedome. And he sure was not the ultimate authority on mathmatics, Huffer had that role down tight, but the inventor was versed in all aspects of engineering to such a degree that he could be considered a rival to the top tier Autobots in those specific fields.

Thus as he reviewed the lines of data he was able to spot problematic segments and make the needed corrections. He reactivated the portion of code and closed the data link to his latest innovation. It was at this time his attention was drawn to Grimlock's communique to Prowl in Nu. It was only after a brief wait before the sector commander and friend Prowl responded, that Slag decided to ask the question as to why Prowl was to be contacted over swooping in and taking what they wanted.

"Perhaps it is because Prowl commands the sector itself and is at present Kup's current superior officer Slag. Besides that he also has the whole area that he can place on alert at a moments notice and remove our shuttle from the sky, though that is probably not likely it is still a possibility."

En-Route to Maximus line

Springer thundered down the grid Wheelbar close behind. His plan was to have Wheelbar go in and back up Kup and Topspin from the ground and he would use his Triplechanger technology to surprise their new foe from the air. He was unaware that Nova Strike and Devcon were also there.

>> To answer your Question Wheelbar. The report didn’t say. They only requested back up and it almost sounded like the communication was cut off or they became distracted and couldn’t finish. <<

The flashes of light from the attack were visible as the two Autobots approached. Springer opened a secure channel to Kup and Topspin.

>> Kup,Topspin, Wheelbar and I are almost on top of you. I’m coming in from above so watch your heads. <<

Springer could now see Sixshot, he also now noticed Nova and Devcon. He thought to himself as he made ready to transform.

Medbay

Zero stood next to Forte where the excitement had all begun. His visor scanned the room watching the movements of his fellows. Silently he hoped Wheelbar would be ok, well he was with Springer and Kup was out there so …… what was he worried about Wheelbar was a fine soldier and could handle himself.
He turned back to the fembot,

“I get the feeling that we’re headed into another round of fighting real soon. Like something important is about to land on our doorstep.”

Shuttle Dauntless

Swoop threw a scowl at Slag. The flamethrower really had a way with words. The pilot was a good-natured mech in general, but even he had limits. Especially when he was trying to steer a shuttle full of friends and teammates through an acidic storm.

"You shut the frag up, Slag!" he yelled back. "Quit tellin Me how to do my job, or maybe Me Swoop remind everyone what your name was before you changed it to a curse word to sound all tough!"

The dinobot returned his full attention to riding out the turbulence. He held fast to the yoke with one hand, constantly adjusting the attitude thrusters with the other. The flight path was far smooth than it could have been, given that the precipitation was so thick it was severely limiting visibility. The shuttle's forward view port was coated in the greasy muck. Flying by sensors alone wasn't really an issue, but being a flier himself, Swoop preferred optical navigation whenever possible.

Still, they had been waiting far longer than expected. They couldn't exactly just sit in this storm and wait it out. "Boss," the pterodactyl said to Grimlock. "Maybe weather interfering with your transmission? Me Swoop gonna get us out of the rain, see if we can get us a clear signal from Nu Aerospace Traffic Control."

The shuttle veered a bit north of their intended flight path, slowly moving out of the southbound weather. A quarter of a breem later, they were in clear skies. Switching the autopilot on, Swoop opened a channel.

<<Nu ATC! Repeat, Nu ATC! This Shuttle Dauntless, out of Iacon. Request landing clearance. Autobase Nu, do you read Me?>>

Astroseconds clicked by as the smallest dinobot waited. Finally, the comm hummed to life. "We got 'em!" he informed Grim. The pilot listened for a moment, before responding. "They sending landing coordinates now."

<<Me Swoop read you, Nova Tower. Descent vectors received. Me brining her in.>>

Half a breem later, the oily, rainy shuttle found itself in the main hangar of Autobase Nu.

En-Route to Maximus line ~

Wheelbar prosessed this in his cranial unit's computer. Another unknown enemy, is this what all the battles in this war are like?

As they grew closer to the location of the backup call, he could see other figures past Springer's vehicular form. One he recognised as Kup, but the others were unknown autobots to him. And yet he could still see no cons on the horizion.

Autobase Nu

Swoops threat made Slag's Energon boil, and his face would have turned red from rage if it weren't red already. But he kept quiet, and waited out the rest of the flight in fuming anger, deliberately looking away from the pilot.
Once they landed, Slag was the first to hop out of his seat, and made his way right to the exit ramp, barely waiting for the locks to disengage before pushing it down and tromping off. "Me Slag find Old Rustbucket" he growled back at the rest of the LSC as he exited. And if I find something or someone along the way that could do with having a hole or 2 in it, so much the better.

Autobase Nu - Medical Facilities

Being told that more fighting was going to occur soon, Forte began to worry about Brewer. She knew he would end up with the same fate as Minerva if he kept this up. Only nodding, the fembot acknowledged Sub Zero's remark and stared to the metal floor they stood upon.

(OOC: Ok, we seemed to have lost some posts in the crash site battle so I am going to repost my last bit as best as I can remember and we can go from there again.)

Crash site

Sixshot watched as the Jumpstarter flew through the air from his blasts. The move was a bit too spectacular, even given the power of his blasts. The fact that he landed directly behind him only made him more suspicious. Still, he was surprised at the swiftness of Topspin’s attack, coming at nearly the same time as Kup’s. The shots struck him, but his heavy armor protected him for the most part, although it wouldn’t last forever. Fortunately, Sixshot was fast too. With speed no normal Transformer could match, he changed to his robot mode. He fired both of his cannons at the nearby Jumpstarter.

He transformed once again into his armored carrier mode. With a squeal of his tires he launched forward at the charging form of Devcon. A few blasts impacted on his armored form. Once he was close enough, he transformed into his wolf mode, pouncing at him with the speed and momentum from his charge carrying him forward at tremendous speed. He lashed out at the bounty hunter with claws and fangs, trying to tear him to pieces.

Autobase Nu – Hangar Bay

Grimlock sighed as Slag went stomping off. He was hoping that the other Dinobot would be able to remain somewhat calm until he could unleash his temper on some Decepticons. He really should have known better. He turned to the other Dinobots. “Keep eye on Slag, make sure he not kill anyone or tear down base.” The Dinobot commander then addressed the entire LSC. “Me going to find Prowl and then find out where Kup at. We go pick him up and get out of here as soon as possible. You can wander around, but don’t go far. Me not want to hang around nanosecond longer than necessary.” With those instructions given Grimlock quickly made his way out of the hangar and to the base command center.

Autobase Nu – Hangar Bay

"Ha! Me Sludge no look after Slag, me no proto - sitter!" Sludge remarked to Ironhide after Slag had left. "Me got better things to do!" And with that, Sludge turned and began walking away.

"Better things? Like what!?" Ironhide shouted after Sludge.

"Nothing." Came Sludge's blunt reply.

Ironhide was somewhat at a loss for words after this and so didn't bother to reply, instead he just walked in the same direction as Slag had gone.

Crash Site

"How many modes does this slagger have?"

Kup was already in motion as Sixshot lunged at Devcon in his heretofore-unseen wolf mode. Sprinting toward the two, he knew it was too risky to fire into the melee with his acid laser. The young pup-trons might've forgotten that in our little dust-up with Clench's boys, but I sure haven't. He subspaced his weapon as he neared the two.

You're big...and you're bad...but I'm guessing even you don't have optics in the back of your head. Cutting to one side so that he (hopefully) disappeared from Sixshot's peripheral vision, Kup increased speed and then cut sharply back to the left as he was nearly in contact with the Decepticon. He aimed his tackle at Sixshot's rear left side, looking to knock him away from Devcon and hopefully shake him up a bit with a full-tilt, blindside blow to the back.

Autobot Airspace

As the Aerialbots flew along toward the Crash Site, Skydive employed his tactical processors to work up several dozen different possible plans of attack as well as the appropriate contingencies. The only thing that made these computations anything more than routine was the fact that the now-sizable Autobot force headed for Kup and Topspin's last reported location seemed to be bearing down not on an entire Decepticon raiding party, but a lone warrior.

What Decepticon would be powerful enough to warrant all our attention...or foolish enough to remain against such odds?

>>"Silverbolt, our ETA is ninety astroseconds," he informed his commander on the general Aerialbot comm line. "Radar's still only detecting one Decepticon signature."<<

Whoever this Decepticon was, he was about to have quite a few more Autobots on his hands.

Autobase Nu – Hangar Bay

Snarl listened in the background as his leader, Grimlock, ordered him and the other Dinobots to keep an eye on Slag. Mr. Grumpy was having one of his temper tantrums, and it was best for any bot in the vicinity to keep their distance if they knew what was good for them. Of course, Snarl didn’t always know what was good for him. He was the quiet, loner type, who just followed Grimlock’s orders whether he liked them or not. And most of the time, he didn’t like them. But Snarl always left the brainstorming to his commander mainly because it hurt his head to think that much. He’d rather just bust up some Decepticons and let someone else plan it all out.

After listening to the exchange between Sludge and Ironhide, Snarl decided to do what his leader wanted. “Hey, Ironhide! Wait! Me Snarl come with you. Help keep eye on grumpy Slag.”

Autobase Nu - Medbay

Broadside moved over to the other mechs left in the room. With everything at last under control in the room, Broadside sore little point in maintaining the guard at the door. As he approached the group, he noticed the solemn and worried looks on their faces.
‘What’s got all you in this mood then? Our med bay duty is over, we should grab some energon and be enjoying are free time.’
Broadside didn’t like brooding, it was bad for mechs, it wore them down, and so unless someone had just gone offline, these mechs better have a really good reason for being so glum.

Autobase Nu - Hanger bay

Smokescreen watched as Slag left the shuttle, that bot had a storm brewing that would make what they had just flown through pale to insignificance. Smokescreen moved over to Inferno.
‘So do you think we should go and give Ironhide a hand? I feel a need to stretch my joints.’
Smokescreen waited for Inferno’s reply his thought concerning where Kup could possibly be. Truth be told Smokescreen wanted to follow Grimlock to see Prowl, but he was unsure how well Grimlock would take to that.

Maximus line - Crash site

Topspins shots seemed to do little more than make him a target to the Decepticon once again. The con returned fire with considerable speed for his size. He was fast but against a mech who was known for his speed that was still to slow. Topspin had transformed and was accelerating away before Sixshot’s turret had completed it’s rotation. Topspin was caught by the aftershock as the cannons exploded into the ground where he had been a fraction of a second before. Topspin raced for cover, and dived behind a large sheet of scrap metal. Topspin kneeled down and brought his disruptor rifle to bear. He lined up the shot, and waited, The con was engaged in close combat with Devcon and Kup demonstrating more Alt. modes. How many was that now? Topspin had lost count. Springer’s transmission came through to Topspin, seeing as Kup was engaged, Topspin responded.
‘Springer, this con is unreal! It’s demonstrated more than four alt. modes and nothing we do phases it. Do not fire, it’s engaged with Kup and Devcon, I’ll rendezvous and we’ll charge it on mass. Topspin out.’
Topspin set off to where he could make out Springer and a couple of other shapes. As he did so he heard the distant sound of jet engines coming from the direction of Iacon. The cons days were numbered; even he couldn’t repel this sort of numbers.

Autobase Nu - Corridors

Slag was not aware of the bots following him: We wasn't the kind to check behind him for allies. Or in front of him for that matter. Also, the extremities accosiated with his new alt mode limited his peripheral vision a fair bit. He didn't consider this a drawback: He didn't really care about what followed him, or what he left in his wake.

A random Autobot came out of a side corridor and stopped at the sight of the large warrior. "Hey, is that a DynobAAAAgh", he exclaimed as Slag picked him up with one hand and brought him to eye level.

"Where Kup?"
"I I I dunno, I think I saw him a few cycles ago..."
"USELESS!!!"

The unfortunate was thrown halfway back down the side passage and Slag tromped on.

Autobase Nu - Medbay

Slag's entry into the medbay was not subtle: His Obdurium horns caught on the top of the door, and with a shriek of metal, two sizable furrows were torn in the doorframe.
Slag looked up at the carnage he had caused to the architecture just by walking, then looked at the gathered crowd: Broadside, Brewer, Forte, Sub Zero, and Archangel.

"Your door too small. Fix it."

Slag then walked into the CR area, peering into the units at the regenerating autobots within. "Where Kup? Me thought he'd be here getting his rusty servos oiled."

Springer transformed into his chopper mode just as Topspin’s reply came to him. He did not reply immediately but gave Wheelbar an order first.

>>Wheelbar, I need you to stay to this con’s blindside and don’t draw his attention just yet. He’s not expecting us so we’ll use that to our advantage. And…. According to Topspin this guy has more altmodes than I’ve ever heard of. …….. Devcon and NovaStrike are here too. Which means this slagger has some power behind him. Topspin’s going to meet us and we’ll try to take him as a unit.<<

>>Topspin I hear ya, I’m in the air now and I can see you guys pretty well. Get in with Wheelbar and we’ll see if this plan of yours does any damage.<<

Springer was pleased that Topspin had shown initiative and had formulated a plan. Srpinger had just noticed the Aerialbots were en-route to join them, and air strike would be a force to reckon with.

Medbay

Sub-Zero winced at the sound of screeching metal as Slag made his way through the door. His sensors tweaked at the strange smell Slag gave off….. almost unworldly. Zero wanted to growl but held back, he had the feeling that wasn’t the best response to Slag’s question. Zero knew Springer had Pulled Wheelbar away on a mission to assist Kup but the wolfbot hadn’t been told the details of what had happened.

Taking a second look Zero realized just what Slag was, one of the Dynobots. He approached the hot tempered fighter as he spoke.

“Prowl sent Kup out on an assignment. He hasn’t been here in a while.”

Maximus Line: Crash Site

Nova Strike's wheel's squeelled heavily on the metalic surface of the planet as he pulled hard left to reenter the fight. His gun remained fixed upon Sixshot's exposed flanks and fired twice more as the decepticon reformated its shape once more into an armored transport. It wasn't too much of a suprise when a few shots were wide right during his turn, it was of course difficult to get proper angles when one was moving.

Soon however, Nova Strike's brakes finally caught hold and his turn was completed nice and tight. He released the brakes at once and allowed his engine to rev once more as he shot forward towards Devcon and Sixshot. This time his gun was trained straight ahead between the two transformers, but it never came to pass. The Decepticon sped forward with a similar yet heavier squeel of rubber to the road launching itself towards the crash landed bounty hunter. Nova had no real responce to Kup's comment over the shared frequency as he closed the gap at the highest possible speed he could muster.

Retracting his cannon as the next stage of the decepticon's modes was revealed at a break neck run, Nova Strike's internal matrix began whirring around remanipulating his own arsenal. It had become abundantly clear that Sixshot was now targetting the prone Devcon with this new beast form, the oil lust shining deep with in the cold optics as it lept into the air.

It was time to bring this fight to the balance. A final burst of speed launched Nova into the fray up close and personal. Using his own momentium and his own determination, Nova Strike reverted to robot form with his legs out in front of his progression. His right held tight the Flash Bang grenade he had placed there at the onset of the battle. His body scraped and scratched across the planet surface as he was propelled straight into Devcon knocking him clear of the Decepticon's claws.

The split second later, Nova flicked the detonator switch on the Flashbang and chucked it upwards towards the gaping maw and belly of the beast form. His momentium now taking him clear of the initial impact point of Sixshot's landing but he was far from unscathed. The titanium or duranium claws had caught his right arm as he had lobbed the grenade towards the target, leaving it a sliced up mess. Actuators, hydrolics, his tires, even his communicator had been torn from their housings and left hanging for all the world to see.

Nova Strike rolled to a stop on the short side between Devcon and Sixshot. His pain receptors screamed hell as fluids and lubricants flowed down his broken wrist and pooled just below his shredded elbow as it rested on the surface. "That.... was..." He never finished his sentence, there was no need to give the decepticon satisfaction that it had drawn fluids first, not that it mattered should the pointblank grenade go off as intended. Still Nova Strike remained his right arm a complete wreck, getting slow to his feet to motion for the next round.

Maximus Line: Crash Site

Devcon had almost no time to prepare himself as the ‘Con (Sixshot) turned and ran at him, obviously intending to meet his charge head on with one of it’s own.

Slowing down for a fraction of an astrosecond in anticipation of taking the brunt of the Con’s charge, Devcon was heartily surprised when it transformed into an animal and leapt at him.

This reminds me of that time I got caught with my armor off by a couple of Decepticons, Devcon thought with a touch of bitter amusement at being caught completely off guard by the ‘Con’s maneuver.

A flash of movement out of the corner of his optics’ revealed Kup dashing in from the side.

Thank P-, was all Devcon had to think upon spotting Kup before he was suddenly slammed out of the path of the slashing Decepticon warrior by an unseen force.

Devcon crunched into the ground as the momentum knocked him free of the danger and into the shrapnel littering the crash site. Shaking off his disorientation as quickly as his processors would allow, Devcon rolled back over onto his feet to see what had sent him temporarily airborne.

To his surprise it wasn’t a what, it was a who. Nova Strike was shakily getting his legs under him as Devcon realized that Nova had been the one to save him from serious damage.

He hadn’t expected it. Teamwork was one of the foundation blocks of the Autobot philosophy, but having worked alone for so long, he always found himself a little overwhelmed when he received aid from other ‘bots.

Pushing himself up off the ground, Devcon raised his arm-mounted plasma blaster and aimed it at the Decepticon. Maneuvering himself carefully he reached out with his other arm and helped pull Nova up into a standing position.

“Thank you for your aid in coming to my defense Nova Strike,” Devcon said he shifted to cover Nova’s mutilated right side as he kept his optics trained on the ’Con.

Autobase Nu – Hangar Bay

As Grimlock issued his orders, Swoop looked over his instrumentation warily. Everything looked green , but personal experience had taught him that rain was trouble.

"Me Swoop gonna handle the refuel, Boss," he said to Grimlock as the Dinobot leader headed for the door. "Me just wanna make sure none of that muck got into the shuttle's systems."

Walking to the hatch, he gave his old friend a pat on the shoulder, something few Autobots would dare to do. "No worries, boss!" he announced cheerfully. "Me make sure everything is perfect by the time you get back!"

He headed outside to get a look at the ship's condition. Moments later, his voice thundered through the hangar.

"Awwww Fraggit! We had paint when we left Iacon! Slaggin rain!"

Maximus Line~Crash Site

>>Sure thing, Springer.<< WheelBar responded as he switched to robot mode and his comrade took off into the air.

His wheels moved down and replaced his feet. He would be able to get around that 'con a lot faster on two skates than four wheels. He slid toward the con's backside easily, the hard part would be figuring out what to do next. This con was like nothing he had ever seen before...he was worried that his sword wouldn't even be efective against it.

He looked around, hoping to find Topspin. At least he had been fighting that Decepticon longer and could possibly know what do to...

Autobase Nu ~ Medbay

"You worry far too much Brewer.." Archangel began in reply to the green mech's concerns "..Admittedly, you're not a fully blown medical paractioner such as myself or Minerva, but you're not some kind of hack either.." The young Medic paused as he took a seat next to the S&R Specialist "..OK, so Omega Supreme may be the size of a small base, doesn't mean he's not one of us, he's still similar to us in the way he transforms, the way he works, just everything's a couple times bigger in scale.."

Archangel stopped talking long enough to shrug his shoulders "..I watched you handle yourself over the last few cycles, with all the repairs, the Minerva situation, I really don't get why you doubt yourself so much, and acting as medic to a Guardian is something I'm sure you'll take in your stride, with ease" Archangel stopped again as he stood once more and extended his hand towards Brewer, about to suggest that they make their way to the Autobot Guardian, but was interrupted by the arrival of Slag through the Medbay front door, now slightly larger than it was moments before.

"Frag it" Archangel commented in disdain, before looking back to Brewer "Come on, lets get going before the big lummox comes crashing over here into us"

"I think Ironhide and Snarl should be OK in dealing with Slag, that walking bad mood doesn't need 4 watchers following him.." Inferno replied to Smokescreen as he watched the rest of the LSC depart "..I say we go follow Grimlock, that way we know we won't be late in getting back to the shuttle, and we may be able to help speed things up, you know what Prowl can be like, for every rule a regulation, for every regulation a dozen security checks and the rest of it, what do ya say?"

Autobot Airspace

"I wonder which stupid 'Con it is this time, as if that would narrow the choice down.." Slingshot wondered aloud over the Aerialbot Commlink "..I can't believe that the ground pounders can't deal with one measly little Decepticon, do we, and by we I mean I, have to get them out of trouble all the time?!?" The VTOL jet continued on in his time honoured, self praising diatribe "..Silverbolt, just tell that old relic Kup and the rest of them to get out the way so I can end this quickly, we have more important things to be doing"

(OOC: I'm taking Moderator prerogative to call a hit in this post. There has been a lot of borderline powergaming in this thread with characters pulling off Matrix-worthy type of moves against a top tier warrior like Sixshot. Everyone needs to think out their attacks a bit more and to consider the abilities of their opponent a little more.)

Crash Site

The flashbang flew into Sixshot’s mouth as his claws slashed into Nova Strike’s arm. The flashbang detonated, but, fortunately, with it in his mouth his eyes were completely shielded from the flash. The loud bang was somewhat disorienting, but Sixshot was a skilled warrior. It wasn’t uncommon for someone to try and rob his opponent of one of his senses. The best warriors fought through it, and that is what the sixchanger did.

Sixshot hit the ground in his wolf mode and rolled up and transformed into his spacefighter mode. He roared off after the fast retreating form of Topspin. He had detected the incoming flight of Autobot fliers that this one was trying to form up with. He knew that there were limits to how many opponents even he could fight at once. He could not let the separate groups of Autobots join together to fight him. He was already taking damage and pushing his limits as it were. A small army of Autobots would eventually bring him down.)

He swiftly caught up with the Jumpstarter, his airborne form being more than fast enough to catch up with the Autobot. He lashed out with his cannons down at Topspin, scoring hits on him. Not bothering to check the damage he had done to the Autobot he transformed again into his jet propelled pistol mode. Flying towards the oncoming form of Springer, he unleashed a barrage of fire at the triplechanger.

Autobase Nu - Medbay

"What?" Sub-Zero's news has not what Slag wanted to hear. "Fraggit to the Pit! Me come all this way....Brraaaagh!" Slag punched the wall, narrowly missing an occupied CR chamber and leaving a crater-like dent a mechanometer wide. Muttering to himself, he stomped past Archangel and Brewer back out the door, his horns mercifully passing through the grooves they had already made.

Now what? He could be on the other side of Cybertron for all I know. It'd be just like Prowl to do something like that. Maybe he heard we were coming and did it deliberately. Oh, I want to break him so bad...

Slag began moving through the base, too mad even to read the glaringly obvious signs which would have lead his to the command centre and the current object of his rage.

Crash Site

Springer watched in dismay as Sixshot let forth a barrage of fire upon Topspin, and then unexpectedly transformed to come at Springer. ~ So much for the element of surprise. ~ The triplechanger was caught unprepared, he hadn’t expected the decepticon to leave the battle and engage him. The high-tech con had changed into a flying weapon, Springer did his best to avoid the head on fire but in the end took two damaging hits. One in the rotor, which caused him to waver in his flight path, loosing altitude as a trail of smoke and sparks followed behind him like a streamer.

“Ok hotshot, I may not have as many modes as you but I can guess at how you work.”

As Springer came close to crashing, he transformed into his vehicle mode. Hitting the ground he sped up using his boosters coming just under Sixshot. Springer let loose a heavy shot at the con’s underside. If he could damage one or even two of his enemy’s altmodes then just maybe they had a chance, or at the least Springer could stall him enough to allow the Arielbots to merge on their location. With these thoughts the wrecker transformed into robot mode and slid to a halt. He turned to face Sixshot.

“Ok buddy, what have you got next for me?”

Springer had a hunch that outnumbered the new decepticon would retreat, and he could keep his promise to Prowl of a minimal of injuries.

Medbay

Zero ducked as slag let his fist fly.

~Well then, short fuse?~ Zero thought to himself as Slag made his anger very clear. The wolf-bot looked back at the others as the large Dynobot turned and walked back into the hall. Sub-Zero’s Visor flashed as he spoke.

“Nice to meet you too.”

Maximus Line: Crashsite

Nova only nodded as he winced heavily in pain. His arm was a complete wreck and that decepticon was still on the rampage. His mind barely registered Devcon's new position protecting his right flank to hide the obvious damage from the predator. It was summarily instictive a gesture to keep the con from preying on the injured Autobot. "We're getting nowhere and fast. And with Topspin down..." He stopped short as he watched the mech veer off towards two oncoming vehicles.

"Kup, Devcon we're going to have to give those two some major cover. Spread out to the left and give Springer's group some cover. Target that beast's engine vents." He didn't exactly like taking battle orders, especially considering he was in the presence of a superior, but alas he had some symbol of a plan brewing and he wasn't about to break off now. Using his left arm, ignoring the damage done to his right, he popped the locks on two of his side panels. A small rail rack soon rolled out with three cylindrical cannisters hanging ever so neatly.

With a fluid motion he grabbed one cannister at a time tossing one to Kup another to Devcon and the third he kept to himself. The rack retreated into his right side and the panels were resealed. "I doubt I have to explain what they are. Objective is simple, make sure that flying Fido doesn't gun down those reinforcements. Use the smokegrenades to your advantage, go the left and fire as soon as you reach point zeta b35 mark1."

Nova Strike drew his blaster from his left hip holster. Using his knee for balance, he manipulates the blaster and the magnetic strips located on the cannisters. Not wasting any further time, he palms the cannister just behind the grip of the gun and begins to charge towards his own destination just inside a predetermined arc where the Decepticon was now engaging the Autobot triplechanger.

Crash site

Topspin was caught completely by surprised by Sixshot’s attack, the impact of the cons cannons sent Topspin slamming into the ground. Topspin lay in a daze as his processor worked out the damage he had sustained. His engines had been wrecked by the attack and his stabilizers had been knocked offline, Topspin had also sustained significant damage to his rear armour. Sixshot’s attack had essentially rendered Topspin’s alt. form useless. Topspin groaned as he transformed and looked around needing some time to recover his bearings. Topspin saw that Sixshot was now engaged with Springer. Getting his radio online Topspin spoke to Kup

‘Kup, this is Topspin, still just about here. I can still fight but we really need a better plan, any ideas?’

Topspin drew his rifle and began to advance towards the Decepticon, the roar of the Arielbot’s engines growing steadily louder.

Autobase Nu - Hallways

‘I agree with you Inferno those two alone could quickly become an all out brawl.’

Smokescreen replied to the red bot. Smokescreen set off at a walk towards the Autobot command centre. Smokescreen would like to see what the current situation of Nova Cronum was anyway the attack on Polyhex must surely have taken it’s toll on the forces available.

‘I wonder what Grimlock’s got planned for us Smokescreen wondered allowed to Inferno, trying to pass the time en route to the command centre.

Medbay

Broadside stared as Slag came, wrecked and went in little more than a couple of astroseconds. That bot had some severe issues and looked like he would rip apart anything that got in his way. Broadside turned to Sub-zero, who also looked thoroughly put out by the Dinobot’s visit.

‘So now what, and more to the point, what is one of the Dinobots doing here, I think it’s highly unlikely that he came by for a nice chat.’
