Null ray

I remember Starscream having a "null ray" in the G1 cartoon. What exactly did this do? Didn't it paralyze other Transformers?

Yeah, it also froze other things in the cartoon. I think it just paralyzed Transformers in the comic.

Yes he did have a Null ray in the G cartoon.But it seem to short cirket Transformers and other tec for very short time frames.

Yep, his null ray ceases mechanical operation for a short period of time allowing him to cease a working man-made engine for the Decepticons to then take away or to use on TFs and other robots.
