Oh yeah, my friend let me borrow Bangai-O for the Dreamcast about a week and a half ago. But I'm stuck on the last level :( .

Awsome game though.

And I can't say I'm really a big fan of the Atari 2600. I respect it for what it did, and I have one(well, it was my older siblings) that still works, but the graphics/gameplay has aged horribly. Combat's still fun.

That game is SO damn hard. I love the 'Game Over' sound, it sounds so 'You fail at life.'

The patent ran out on both systems, that's why it can be released, btw), so he decided to start buying up some cheap NES games. Well, he let me borrow a few of them. While three of them were pretty blah(Dynowarz, To The Earth, Ikari Warriors 2), he let me borrow one he had raved about forever...

Blaster Master.

And it does live up to the hype. You pilot a "jumping tank" arond levels, and you have to find your way to the boss, similar to Metroid. Unlike Metroid though, you can get out of your tank, and enter smaller areas where you control your person. These segments are top down Super C-esque levels. One button shoots, the other throws a powerful yet extremely short range grenade. It's also during these levels that you fight bosses, which are both cool and fun. After you beat a boss, you get an upgrade, like a more powerful weapon for your tank, or hovering for your tank. Definitely suggested.

However, there is a major flaw with the game: No saving OR Passwords, so it has to be beaten in one sitting. If only it had a password system, then it would be perfect. One other minor gripe: when in the top down segments, you can find upgrades to make your gun more powerful. But if you get hit, you lose one of the upgrades. :???: I don't get the correlation.

Oh, and tommorrow I'm gonna be kickin it with the original NES G.I. Joe game my bro won for me off E-Bay two weeks ago. Seeing a special on 1up.com about Joe games got my interest piqued in the game I barely remember from when I was a kid, and it did look pretty sweet for a licensed game. Plus, they said it was the best Joe game behind the Arcade game.

Blaster Master is amazing, but so damn hard. The Grenade trick comes in very handy (throw a 'nade during boss fights and pause the game for 30 seconds, resume and he will be dead. doesn't work on all Bosses, though).

I hear that the GI Joe games were well done in terms of Level Design. I haven't tried them yet, though. Have fun!

And what's wrong with Enix, Xion? I didn't say 'Epic bought them,' I said 'teaming up with.'

Sorry to reply so late on your message, well I mean, come on Squaresoft now known as Squarenix doesn't make really good quality game anymore look Xenogears, Final Fantasy 7, Vagrant Story, Brave Fencer Musashiden that was good games but with Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy XI and all the commercial stuff now with the Final Fantasy 7 saga because they don't find some new good stories anymore sucks completely, okay Kingdom Hearts game are refreshing but that's all.
I think the geat boom for Squareenix was the year 1997 to 1999.
Enix hemself has good games, too but I don't really like fusions, the best exemple for that is now Takara Tomy, after the MP series, then the revoltech, and the wear and music label, they bring at the moment just some **** out. Well the Music an wear label are really limit, too... :-? :?

I guess I understand why you don't like them, Xion. I'm not familiar with their recent works.

There's a classic on the ZX Spectrum titled Horace Goes Skiing which is super-duper. I enjoy revisiting my Mega Drive library, as well.

I saw the videos of the new Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, and I jst say, wow, this game is better then Guilty Gear XX reload and all I ever seen in the Guilty Gear world. I also pre-ordered it on http://www.playasia.com. If I must rate this game I give it 10 of 10, I just hope it will coming out on PC or Xbox 360, but I prefer it on PC so I can customize the Background tracks as I like it with Rammstein, Killswitch and more.

Then I heared they will finally continue the Guilty Gear storyline an make Guilty Gear X3 Fight for the future as I heard from an other MSN buddy.
And Capcom brings also finally a brand new Street Fighter out with the title Street Fighter 4, I hope Gouki still in the game, and that the game looks in 2D !!!!

Now we just need a brand new Syndicate Wars from EA and my gamingheart is complete.
