we've went from being a small gold mining town to a coal mining city whose major export was once flames and spam to our new export being TF news

I hereby declare ownership of this new page.

I practically LIVED there for several months. I still remember the naked hot tub thread with much nostalgia. And PW's comic (which is still going on OMG?!!!!).

I still remember my first thread and Fangry raging at me for something stupid. Wasn't he banned a few years back? Ah, good times.

I dropped off the face of the Earth sometime after the Seibertron VS Don Murphy boards died down a bit. I think my faith in humanity dropped so low it took me a few years to recover.

Also, what was the Spam Nazi's actually udername? I can't remember.

Too tame sometimes, I say. I LOVE this site, don't get me wrong, I'm here every day.

I've even bought 2 T-shirts, but I wish there was more spam and nonsense. This site leads the way in terms of great, thought-out discussion as well as unparalleled galleries, but I wish it was a little more loose, like Hisstank.com (sorry for the namedropping). That place is hilarious! All kinds of traffic, spam and random topics. It's like controlled chaos.

It used to be like that, but that unfortunately also bred the not-so-nice crowd, and strict rules had to be implemented, especially after Seibertron.com emerged as the leader in TF-related everything after the 2007 movie. But yeah, a little slack would be good...

I remember that Fangry @ss. I stuck up for you in that thread since you were one of the few "cool" (totally in my opinion, no official rankings) posters. He was a jerk.

Oh man, I came barely remember the time when this site specialized only in news and Japanese TF toons. Hey what happened to the before Carly section? Did we get rid of those because of the 2007 Movie?

Fangry got banned for trolling by Maximus Prime - I remember it in particular because his last strike was following me in threads and making personal remarks all the time, the best part being that it came to the moderators attention because he reported me for insulting him.

Anyone remember the
Jaffa Squad?

It's a shame that Lockstreak\Redstreak isn't around anymore, really. He was fun.

I know there was a board crash late in 2002.. That is when I originally registered.. The crash happened and I had to re register..

Same thing happened to me. My original account disappeared and I had to re-register, fortunately I got my old username back.

I left for a few years in 2004 because of the STFU assholes, and returned in 2006 sporadically and finally a couple of years ago regularly after they were shit-canned 5 years too late. I do like it the way it is now, but I do miss some of the more carefree ways of old.

I remember those idiots too. I'm still amazed that they didn't zapped long before then, but the mods now have a quicker trigger on stopping problems. I miss the old days sometimes too, but some of the fights that broke out could get really ugly.

I can't believe I missed this thread. 2010 seems weirdly recent, too, you know? Like this decade is moving faster than the last one. Then again when I joined I was but a lad, you don't exactly remember everything with clarity when you see them as a child. Then again, my polarizing effect on people probably would elicit memories that don't particularly fall under nostalgia.

I guess it looks different to each of us. To me, the last decade moved pretty fast, and in the last 3 or 4 years it's been slowing down. Maybe because I turned 30 2 years ago and when I was in my 20s I did a lot of stuff I either don't want to remember or can't remember. But the last 5 years haven't been too kind to me, and it makes things go slower. I also wasn't around the board much from 2005 to 2008 so I missed all the fun 'n' games that the 1st live action film brought with it. When I left here, this place was somewhat like the wild West, and when I came back, it...wasn't.

I have been here since 2003, so I remember Alvin Prime's reign of terror at this site. I think Morph and Dr. Spengler were gone when I joined. Some other people I remember are God Sunstreaker, Redstreak and Rainbow Starscream. I remember Wrecka, too.
