I was surprised by that too. It still irks me that his Powermaster is a completely different upgrade set tooKurona wrote:It's a shame the vehicle mode grill peeks up behind his back in robot mode; it offsets the illusion a little bit.
I am the other way around. For me the problem is the robot mode grill/abs and windows showing on the back of the cab in vehicle mode.Kurona wrote:It's a shame the vehicle mode grill peeks up behind his back in robot mode; it offsets the illusion a little bit.

That's problematic for me too and I wish they found a way around that, but the grill showing in robot mode is a bigger problem for me since it's at the front -- the robot mode stuff is just on the back end of the vehicle mode.

Yeah, but the G1 figure's arms folded up behind the cab, covering the windows and grille. This new figure doesn't do that.Agamemnon wrote:Yeah, the windows on the back of the cab in truck mode is accurate to the G1 toy. I had him when he first came out, and it always bugged me as a kid too...

I'm in the same boat, and I'll be buying one of these little Cab's, but I'm not disassembling anything. The LG-EX will be all combined, my current LG set will be separated to their individual bot modes, and the new PE Cab will be standing next to them. So, all bot modes represented in one displayRated X wrote:Wow theyre really pushing this little Prime figure. Im over the whole little prime inside the big prime concept. Im not taking apart my Ginrai. I might consider taking apart my 2nd Ginrai from the upcoming BBTS exclusive set if the colors match. It would be in theyre best interest to make them match cause most people dont know what to do with a 2nd Ginrai aka Magnus Prime.
Good eye. Good callAgamemnon wrote:That does look sweet, but I might have gone with all black rims to better match with the trailer...

Kinda... I put a couple heads in there and the doors wouldn't close and they were painfully difficult to get back outRodimus Prime wrote:Don't the Titan Masters fit in there?

Not enough clearance on the sides? Or are they too tall?shajaki wrote:Kinda... I put a couple heads in there and the doors wouldn't close and they were painfully difficult to get back out.

That's just shoddy engineering, because it looks like there's plenty of space on the figure's chest to make the Master holes (what would you call them? ) a little wider. Or maybe they were too concerned about the Masters being loose and rattling around in the chest? I guess too tight is better than too loose.shajaki wrote:It's the sidesRodimus Prime wrote:Not enough clearance on the sides? Or are they too tall?shajaki wrote:Kinda... Maybe? And I don't want to make it sound like it's impossible, it was just a pain. I needed a tool to get him out. Requiring a peripheral device is annoying, but really it's not the end of the world. Tight or not, I'll be more than happy to get him some proper Powermasters (3P or official).Rodimus Prime wrote:That's just shoddy engineering, because it looks like there's plenty of space on the figure's chest to make the Master holes (what would you call them? ) a little wider.
