Thought you guys might enjoy seeing a pic of me from around Christmas 1987, which remains as one of my favorite childhood memories (I got spoiled that year with a bunch of Transformers). Would love to have those boxes now ... but I think the memory of making this robot out of Transformers boxes is priceless. Boxes used are Galvatron and Ultra Magnus for the legs, Scourge and Cyclonus for the arms. I thought I had used something for the chest and head but it appears to just be made out of cardboard.

nice pic Seibs. oh yeah, getting Cyclonus and Galvatron? that's one heck of a Christmas to remember. B-)

too bad i never was too creative enough to do something artistic with my Joe card backs back then (TFs were a luxury, as indicated by the G1 toys i had on the other thread), i remember just throwing 'em all away back in the day, never even caring for the *GASP* dossiers at the back.

ah well, that's childhood for all of us.

Ah, not at all. I'd rather have a priceless picture like that of my childhood than some beatup G1 boxes that somehow survived 20 years. I can always by MIB versions of Magnus and Galvatron to go with my MIB Cyclonus, MIB Scourge and both Targetmaster versions. One day ...

Great pic. Reminds me of my 1986 Hannuka presents. I got Hot Rod, Rodimus Prime, Galvatron, and Cyclonus. My brother got Ultra Magnus, Kup, Blurr, and Wreck-Gar. This would have been just 4 months after the movie came out. Good memories.
