just an update. I'm up to my v2 design for the Action Formers, scrapping the idea to have an internal skeleton with snap on armor. At this scale it just ended up being too fragile for the joints. I still have some work to do to improve the elbow and knee joints but so far I'm liking how they are turning out and decided to go ahead and paint up what I've got. I have an original designed character as well as Swerve printed out and waiting for paint, will be getting to them sooner or later. Here's some pics, more on the facebook page:

Tailgate doesn't like getting splashed. Pipes doesn't mind so much

To give you an idea of the size of these guys, here's a shot in my hand ^__^

This is one of the previous versions unpainted and next to a Halo Hayabusa for scale

Wow these look awesome. Can these transform at all? Im a member of a small community that love to customise all things Building blok toys and after seeing that height comparison pic, Im convinced these will go down a storm with them.

Seiously dude, these are great and I would love to see more and purchase a couple if possible ;)

Thanks a lot dude, I really appreciate it :)

While I could probably design something in CAD that might transform, I don't think I could get something that looks this good in bot mode. Just look at those target master things with the new Legends figures :/ these are about 2" tall each :)

So no, these ate more like Action Masters.
My goal is to make these available through my shapeways shop when I have all the kinks worked out. With Shapeways I'm stuck at this tiny scale though. I have a crowd fund project to raise $$ for my own 3D printer though. Then I'd be able to offer larger scale figures directly and with a faster turn around time. It's a hefty price tag though at $3K :(

That would be totally awesome if you'd like to share my stuff with your brick brothers :)
Send them on over to my FB page for WIPs, updates, info, that sort of thing :)

Thanks again dude ^__^

Very nice designs and cool little figs indeed! :D Are you going to do a whole bunch of these , and at what cost for us? I would love to see Rumble/Frenzy figs like these. Something to stand with my deluxe WfC Soundwave. Good luck and please make more!

These guys are the first of many. My goal is to build up a part library so folks can mix/match to create their own OCs.
For WfC and FoC minions I HIGHLY recommend checking out Thugger by Fakebusker on Shapeways. He even transforms to fit in the chest cavity. For WfC, he's also got Ravage and Laserbeak figures :)
