Big news for Titans Return in Canada. Toysrus.ca has posted the entirety of wave 1 for preorder, except for the Titan Master class (which is out of synch with the rest of the line in general).

The prices are quite odd though, and while it may be a pricing mistake for the Voyager Class and Wheelie, orders do pass through without a problem. The bad news is that the line is slated to be released in Canada in early August and this was confirmed by fellow Seibertronian TRozok21 who works there.

So here is the price breakdown for the current preorders:

Fortress Maximus is $229.99 CDN ($180 USD)

Leader Class is $59.99 CDN ($47 USD)

Voyager Class is $19.99 CDN ($16 USD)

Deluxe Class is $19.99 CDN ($16 USD)

Legends Rewind and Stripes are $12.99 CDN ($10 USD)

Legends Wheelie is $7.99 CDN ($6.50 USD)

The voyager and Wheelie prices are part of a current TF price "rollback." IE they've been trying to clear out CW stuff without putting it on "clearance" for the past month and a half. Legends, Deluxe, and Voyagers have been 8/12/20 bucks.

So those prices will go to the normal 30 voyager and Wheelie join the 13 dollar legends class like Rewind.

Very tempted to get Galvy and Wheelie and a couple others just for free shipping lol... but they'll be in store soon enough and TRU has a zillion TF sales for a later price adjustment. =)

Devastator was 150 MSRP. But many were selling him for more than that due to demand. I guess this is a good indication that the demand for this year's titan is the same as last year's

After a severe lip-dweedling b-b-b-b-b moment last month, HasbroToyShop posted the G2 Bruticus set for sale through their site. They quickly took it down because it was a mistake and said it 'should have been pre-order'.

What will the limits be for the figures?

So when do you think they will sell out?
Last year I got them the night after they were available no problem! But someone said they sold out while they were buying it?!
My concern is that I'm traveling on August 9th and might be offline for a good 48 hr if not more

But I do remember last year the exclusives were available for at least a week I think

I'm considering the 3 Pack: Brainstorm, Windblade, and Sentinel Prime, as the only other way (at this time) to get Brainstorm is through Walgreens. Plus, that Windblade is a repaint of the RiD line (Warriors class?) Windblade, so would be a unique mold for me. I'm kinda Meh on Sentinel, which is why I haven't completely decided.

Fortress Maximus comes with his Master Sword, which is not coming with the normal Hasbro release. But, since I have acquired a Master Sword, I will not be over-paying for SDCC Ft. Max. (Plus, isn't one of the heads from the Takara set?)

I think there might be a couple of other Transformers related items, but these are the two I've seen the most chatter about.

I'm planning on getting the GI Joe/Transformers crossover set with vehicles based on Powerglide and Soundwave. Going back and forth on Fort Max.

As for hot items, last year the site slowed to an absolute crawl because people were trying to get the First Order Stormtrooper figure. I don't think anything this year will sell out that fast, but you'd better get in early if you want, say, the Magic cards set.

I didn't know that tablet was also a SDCC item. It's pretty neat looking and a similar one has been on TFS for some time now. I would assume the SDCC one will be different?

Hate to rain on parades, but it sports virtually no new paint apps, the SDCC version is nearly identical to the TR version, and the Master sword has no paint apps either, it's just plain red plastic with a plain black hilt |:|
