I guess, but if you look at it this way. If both go to the Bowl, that's 2 undefeateds, and one will have a perfect record, beating Miami from the 70's I believe. The other will do a Patriots of 07.

Colts have had to pull too many wins out of their ass this season, last night for instance, they havent fully dominated a team like they did early in the season for a few weeks now, injurues are gonna catch up and at some point they wont be able to pull one out at the end.

N.O. is in a similar situation but they have become a good second half team this season, they go into the half behind in points but keep faith and hold it together and pull thru by the end of the game, thats something the chargers have done in the past too and I think brees was on the team when a few of those happened.

You cant afford to spot someone 14 or 21 points in the playoffs and hope to still win. you need to come in fast and strong and just pummel.

It's gonna be interesting for the next few weeks to see who ends up in the postseason for the wildcards and how quickly the pat's get eliminated.

Thats what I was talking about before, its happened way too many times this season for both of those teams and I knew one of them wouldnt be able to overcome.

I log into facebook this morn and only see one or two saying a 13-1 record sucks and the Saints are doomed..

Jeez..
1) The Saints have NEVER had 13 wins before
2) This gets the 16-0 monkey off the backs so they can concentrate on the playoffs

I am still a fan and DAMN proud of my team.

Hats off to the "boys" on their win because they wanted it more than the Saints did.

This also proves a point to a friend of mine that thinks the NFL is rigged. His theory was to have two 16-0 teams in the SB to jack up the ratings and revenue. I laughed at him last night and he is re-evaluating his bonehead theories.

Some teams can only take so much ridicule before they step up, like Dallas last night.

Now all the "pressure" is on indy for the undefeated, which I dont think will happen anyways. I didnt see the game but did N.O. have any blaring deficiancies that the teams in the playoffs can exploit now?

I know its only the Chiefs, but its nice watching the Browns actually playing like a real football team for two weeks in a row.

Oh, and a HUGE congrats to Jerome Harrison for beating Jim Brown's single game rushing record. Its to bad that Cribbs to Stuckey pass wasn't completed though.

One more win Robinson, and it's very surprising for the NFC. The only team "fighting" for the wild card are the Giants. Right now the Packers and Cowboys are the wild card leaders.

I love the Saints I really do But they have been playing with no emotion.. They do NOT deserve to be #1 seed and have home field advantage.

I hope they loose next week then lose in their first playoff game.

They completely gave up it seems and I have a problem rooting for a team that completely gives up like that.

I have been a fan since I can remember and have been through the 1-15 years, wearing "aints" bags on our heads.. It is just frustrating.. Sure I know that division games are always a fight but they just gave up any emotion..

I didn't get to see the game, was at work, but did keep seeing the Bucs creep up every quarter. This is the same team that almost let the Skins beat them 3-4 weeks ago. Who knows, maybe they are just letting loose for a bit because they know they already have home field. Seems such a better idea then going all out the final 3 weeks when you know you have home field and then losing a key player on week 17 or 18.

For playoff teams? I hope the Saints can take it.

Sick of hearing about Indy and the Cowboys and the Vikings, I want a team no one expected to win go all the way.

I'm not so sure. The offense has been slowing down the last couple games. The defense is falling in the standings (I believe they are now 22nd in the league). The team that is the hottest right now is San Diego. Could this be the year that LT gets his ring? Right now, I'd say so...but I also said that about Pittsburgh around week 7. The major difference though is the time of year.
