I notice there are no stickers on it aswell. Are they still in the bag underneath the instructions?

Btw, how'd it get to be like that? A fire? Water damage?
It Is Him wrote:Wait... there's a difference between chrome and die-cast? I thought they were the same thing

Nope, die cast metal parts are purely metal, while "chrome" parts are just plastic pieces with a thin layer of metal on it. Simply put, vacuum-metalised and chrome have the same base meaning.
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Ever seen one of those shows about pawn shops, like Pawn Stars? Most of the time, customers ask way too much for the items they bring in, no matter the condition, only for the shop owner to offer way less. Some firmly believe in the "value" of their item they won't let go of it. Baka...
He's one of those customers, so not really worth your time unless he accepts $10.
Flux Convoy wrote:It looks like a restoration is pretty doable. It would likely require complete disassembly and cleaning but it looks entirely possible. The paperwork does look toast though. For the work involved and cost, a reissue is likely your better option. If you've got no issue with the amount of work involved and using Reprolabels, talk the guy down. Like I said, looks doable. Just time-consuming. Good luck bud.
