Being a statue aside, this design doesn't look like it could even transform into anything at all.

It's, it's beautiful!

But even if I could afford the price tag for it, I doubt I could even justify doing it myself.

Way, way out of my price range. Although it looks super sweet and would be really great if the Bay movie bots looked more like this style.

stop buying toys for 9 months you to can afford this, this looks to cartoony/ comicbook style to fit into movies its what live action cartoon would look like not enough realistic look to it if bay movie bots look like this transfromer fans would go see movies and more littel kids not enough new fans would go see transfromers movies keep the bots look realistic looking as you would looking at car with moving tires it will make them more life like and less boring blocky cartton style from cartoon and comics adults dont want to watch cartoons adults want realistic looking thing,.

coworker i work with doesnt watch animated movies sausage party, dragonballz, transformers aniamted movie, finding dory if bay bots look like this in movies HE WOULD NOT go watch trasnfromers movies to this day

Calm down. You respond to literally any post that suggests the aesthetic of the movies is not good or to the person's taste with the exact same thing over and over. Without challenging the content of the post itself - problems as I may find with it - you're simply going to tire yourself out if you keep doing this and it's not convincing anyone. I suggest your time would be better spent talking about what you do enjoy about the movies.

... and, uh, don't use Sausage Party as an example. I know I can't speak for everyone here but it's really one of those things that's best looked over, shoved to the side and quickly forgotten.

The aesthetic of Pacific Rim's Jaegers looked realistic enough. This statue's design looks like the Pacific Rim Jaeger aesthetic. Therefore, this statue's design looks realistic enough.

(Even if it also looks like it has no ability to transform into an altmode of any kind, and I'm not talking about the fact that it's a non-transforming statue.)

Yeah, it's cool, but do we really need more "doesn't look like it transforms" designs to seep over to non-Movieverse designs too? ;) :-P

At least give his some treads on the back of his legs or something.

Just adding one of each, period and comma, at the end of a paragraph doesnt count. Makes it a little hard to read. But just wanted to say, I am 38 and those things you named are the very things I enjoy watching(except Sausage Party maybe lol), plus many of my "adult" friends do as well. We must be anomalies. This design seems like a perfect movie look to me, and it seems quite a few others. Have to agree with Saber on the jaeger thing as well.

I empathize with that a lot actually. That particular Megatron design shown here would look great if it was used for the film's itself. Though I mean I do agree with the idea of making him a jet or more specifically a tank as the gun mode is otherwise impractical now due to "safety reasons" and all that.

As we had previous reported, Prime 1 Studios is getting ready to release its latest statue, that of a new take on Generation 1 Optimus Prime. Well, now we have an update for you showing off his new axe. As the old images showed, the axe appeared bright orange, but the new axe, which they are dubbing a Fusion Axe, is mechanical in appearance, not unlike his Dark of the Moon axe. This axe is an exclusive and is limited to 750 pieces worldwide. Check out the Original source and the mirrored images below, and let us know what you think in the comments section!

The axe looks to be based the most off of the early design for WFC Optimus's axe:

Which in turn seems to have been the basis for the design of RID 2015 Warrior class Optimus Prime's axe:

I'm for all for anyone there own opinion , get tired of reading about it when something new comes out that looks better than movie version from time to time, movies are making transformers more popular now than they where before movies where being made before all we got was toys, accessories , games, news now it's movie news to add to mix,. This is new time and age movie has no connection to anything same if people want to talk about bad designs energon and cybertron is another series look at for most characters iron hide , cyclonus for starters,.
People don't like movies I accept that buy how many years how many movies have we got over years and still getting same comments if bay bots look like this don't like how they look don't watch movies don't stay up to date with movies if you don't like how they look, with many humans in movies, transformers looking non human faces these bots are meant look realistic you same blocky mess with humans breathing out in space without space suits on cybertron, prime being brought back to life more than once watch generation one cartoons,.

I will admit statues look nice I'm no statue fan when it comes to transformers but for fans who do like them they can afford it stop buying and save and buy it in few months if you want it bad enough.

Prime 1 Studio Age of Extinction Lockdown Bust

by Va'al
We have some images of another Prime 1 Studio project, in the form of live-action bounty hunter Lockdown, in his Age of Extinction appearance. The figure is in fact a bust, and not a full statue, and offered in collaboration with Sideshow at $259.99 with only 500 produced. Check it out below!

“Every galaxy I’ve traveled, all you species are the same. You all think you’re the center of the universe. You have no idea.”

Sideshow and Prime 1 Studio are proud to present the latest release in the Premium Bust Collection - Lockdown from Transformers: Age of Extinction. Like any bounty hunter, Lockdown will pay top dollar to get what he wants. Answering only to his enigmatic "Creators", Lockdown holds himself above the Autobot/Decepticon war and sees both sides as squabbling children that he has to rein in personally. He doesn't think much of other civilized species across the galaxy (particularly humans), though he isn't above working with them if it suits him.

Alright, much as I don't like the movies or the fact that you're paying $260 and not even getting a full figure...
... that visor is really cool and impressive.

on a side note looking at that figures detail really makes me appreciate what they pulled off with his human alliance figure.

Fun fact: If Darius McCrary's voice hadn't been so heavily modulated, his Jazz voice would have been a far closer match to Scatman Crothers's Jazz.
