For $2000, it needs to not only transform, but do so on command.

That and cut the faces of random Decepticon toys when you aren't looking.

that thing is ridiculously beautiful. but who can afford that? even i, who collects TF's, comics and even statues cant justify that. 500 is as far as ive gone for a statue.

I know it's crazy but I got one on pre order. I missed out on the Sideshow Collectibles Maquette one a few years back and those started at $1200 and are selling for between $1700 and $2500 now. I got to see that one in person at the Sideshow booth at SDCC '10. It was beautiful and I kicked myself for missing out on it. I figure why not? You only live once and I'm a huge fan. Life's to short

This is a truly beautiful piece of art. But for $2000, I would expect it to transform on its own and brew my coffee.

Thanks to Autobase Aichi we have images of the Prime 1 Studios display at Wonderfest 2014. They have revealed they will be producing Movie Masterpiece versions of Transformers: Age of Extinction Drift and Grimlock! Drift comes in robot mode, while Grimlock is in his dino mode with Optimus Prime riding on his back just like in the movie. Also on display are their other MMTFM products ROTF Megatron & Starscream, DOTM Optimus Prime & Bumblebee, plus various busts.

They are all beautiful, if they didnt cost a small fortune I would make a shelf to collect them.

Anyone know if that Prime riding Grimlock is part of the statue or is it the DMK Prime by Takara with a Bad A$$ paint job?
