Almost like your post.

You got a news credit on it.

Rodimus2006 wrote:While Unicron may be in AOE it dosent mean he will be used or seen much, & could also be just a cameo type of glimpse. I am thinking of like Thantos in the Avengers Ending credits type of deal with Unicron showing headed towards Earth.
But I am hoping that this Unicron is done like Prime's Unicron where Unicron is infact the Earth itself. But I assume this Unicron will be CGI & more than likely something Huge & Evil Looking.
I just hope this will not be a FF Repeat where they messed up Galaticus making him a Nano Death Cloud. While I know that things from Comics, Series are translated diffrently to Live Action I just hope Unicron isnt done in a comical goofy way.
OP Dying I am ok with this, in movie 5 they can bring in Rodimus, Ultramagnus or Hot Shot maybe even Sky Fire to replace OP. Then they would battle Unicron teaming up with the Decepticons.
Still what about Megatron/Galvatron nothing is known what about NEST. This info is cool such as Lockdown but where is the juicy info we need.
Probably from Rodimus2006's rambling.5150 Cruiser wrote:As far as the plot goes, i'm curious to where everyone is getting that unicron is going to be in AOE?

Says the clearly better public speaker hiding behind his computer to take a pot shot at a Hollywood Director that will never read his comment.

1) I have done public speaking before, and I'd like to think if I had a scheduled appearance to address a large group of businessmen and dignitaries, I would be better prepared than THAT. Maybe he was tired that day - if so, he should have rescheduled until he was better rested and prepared. Instead he went in front of these people UNprepared, and as a result, the worst happened.

Gouging my eyes out with a spork would be preferable. Honestly, there aren't enough expletives available to convey just how strongly I hate the idea, not that I'm a fan of them making a 4th installment of the movies to begin with.
Well, IDW has gone a full nine years with not using him in their G1 comics, meaning that Unicron isn't necessarily a requirement to be used in everything.Rodimus Prime wrote:I do believe Unicron will be introduced sometime during the trilogy, possibly making him the main villain in the 3rd film. To be honest, I don't want him to be in these movies since, with as unfair as these films have already been in the portrayal of the TFs in proportion to their more seemingly favoritism-based portrayals of the humans (as a means to appeal to the general masses over just the fans), I really don't feel that these films could do him any proper justice.
At best, they'd just make him be a giant, mindless monster, moreso than most of the Decepticons have all been, what with these films being human-focused above all else. So I say better to leave him out than to do him unjustly. Otherwise, we'd probably get Mark Wahlberg as the one who either defeats him or holds the key to defeating him. As if being beaten by germs wasn't enough.
Rodimus Prime wrote: But with all the hype and highlight on the fact that AoE is supposed to be a new beginning of sorts, and Bay's inclusion of the Dinobots after he swore on heaven and Earth that he wouldn't do it, I'm willing to give them 1 last chance on doing the characters right, especially from what we've seen and heard of Lockdown so far. I know he's not a Decepticon per se, but it does seem he will be treated much better than the bad guys have been so far, with the exception of Sentinel.
Shadowman wrote:I will put forth the theory that it was the internet itself trying to punch him in the face.
Back when Simon Furman held the reins of the IDW story, he stated outright that the IDW comics would have "No Primus. No Unicron." in them. But since his being replaced by other writers, his word has become only Authorial Intent as later fiction penned by James Roberts an John Barber have gone and finally introduced Primus into the comics, but not Unicron. Though, there was an intentionally vague reference that could sorta possibly kinda allude to Unicron in a way, so to speak ( ), but nothing has come out of it and hasn't really been touched upon since. At this point, the comics continue to avoid needing to use Unicron and are content with doing the these they keep on doing.Rodimus Prime wrote:I don't read iDW stuff, other than ReGeneration (which really isn't iDW stuff), so I don't know of the comics stories. However, have they stated they would absolutely not include Unicron before the G1 stories are over? I'm not saying it would be better or worse with Unicron in the stories, I'm just saying he's definitely a cornerstone of Transformers. He should be included eventually.

Not with Michael Bay considering The Fallen to be "kind of a (expletive) character."SlyTF1 wrote:Being a multiverseal singularity, would it be possible that The Fallen sent Lockdown, under the commands of Unicron?
