Personally, it looks like a fan-made Photoshop to me, albeit a fairly good one. Furthering my doubts is that I have seen nothing from Hasbro confirming or denying that "Beast Hunters" has anything to do with Transformers at all.
"production bible", i am almost offended... BUT WOW, i have to buy it! i wonder how much it would cost.....

But seriously, if it were for sale, most of us die-hards would own it by now.
Archanubis wrote:Now that I've read a little more into the thread, it seems "Beast Hunters" is a running title for the next season, but I'll keep an eye out for an official word from Hasbro/Kevin Kline. But it does "hint" at the appearance of Grimlock at the very least, especially since Gregg Berger has been confirmed as a voice for the next season.
Still, will wait for offical confirmation.

That was a typo on Burn's part. He meant "Beast Hunters".
Oh ok. I wonder what that may be. Return of beast modes?
It's Season 3(or 3.5) of Transformers Prime. We speculate the introduction of the Dinobots and Star Seekers.

I hate to say it and I don't know whether it's because of my age or if I simply have my expectations too high or what but if they cancelled the series tomorrow I honestly would not shed a tear. There are absolutely no redeeming qualities for this show from the standpoint of an adult fan so I guess whatever they want to do with it to keep the kids interested is just fine but I've long since given up on any hope of the cartoons keeping my interest. To be perfectly honest, I'm having a hard time with anything outside of the comics being worthy of bearing the Transformers name. The last few cartoons and the toys that have gone with them were horrid, almost nothing in the 2nd and 3rd live action movies was enjoyable toy-wise and RotF itself was junk, and I have no desire whatsoever to see this new Beast Hunters thing associated with Prime. This franchise stopped being fresh ages ago and I can only see it losing fans down the road, not gaining them.

I don't like either of them (although I'd place Rescue Bots over Animated any day), but I don't hate them either.
Prime is best pony cartoon.

Yup.
The Aligned Universe is lasting 10 years. Prime should be lasting 5. I don't want another reset either. I don't care if the Aligned universe goes on for 20 years, it's too awesome for me to put down!
Speaking of the Aligned Universe, I've been neglecting my Exodus book lately.

The Dinobots, at least Grimlock, are a strong possibility, especially since Gregg Berger is semi-confirmed as a VA for the next season. As for the Star Seekers - it's questionable.

Yup. Too bad the writers are impotent at their job. Any of the universes have a lot of potential when it remains unexplored, and most of the episodes consist of 3-4 main characters finding some Cybertronian MacGuffins on Earth - I wonder when the autobots will find Cybertron itself on the top of a mountain...

LOL! I don't think the other cartoons have more potential. I think the only other good TF cartoon is Beast Wars and that ended nicely (if you don't continue with Beast Machines).

If you ever read about the material for the unproduced season 4 of Animated, you'd know just how much potential that show had (and frankly still has).

People, these are contradictory panel snippets, taken out of context. By "iteration" and "16 episodes," taken along with "Beast Hunters," most likely all that means is that there will be 16 episodes of "Prime" in season 3 until it gets relabeled "Beast Hunters." Chill. There's no crisis, here. If I remember correctly, the current continuity has a 5-season creative bible already written, with outlines for further continuation beyond that. HASBRO demanded that creative bible before the series was even green-lit. And let's not forget that Hasbro considers the current, very successful game series to be a part of this continuity (albeit forcibly, at times), as well as novels, comics, and other media. You're reacting to essentially zero confirmed information. Let's keep that in mind.

What? It's an outline for the whole continuity (Exodus, WFC, FoC, Exiles, Prime, and Rescue Bots). Hardly just outlining 5 seasons for Prime.

Well, there you go, man. I knew it was massively laid out. Just couldn't remember the specifics. My point was more precisely referring to how far in advance they had plotted Prime. Which I thought was 5 seasons. Either way, it furthers the point that with rights being solely in Hasbro's hands this time around, and having made such a massive investment, it's pretty asinine to go so far with conjecture on this subject.
HalfOfMe wrote:My point was more precisely referring to how far in advance they had plotted Prime. Which I thought was 5 seasons.
Prime is supposed to last 5 years (only half of the decade-long Aligned family). Whether that means 5 seasons or more seasons is anybody's guess.

Well, in regards to the TF: Prime story itself, the bible does have at least four seasons worth of story laid out for the cartoon to adapt.

Who said everyone was turning into beasts? Beast Hunters most likely means they'll have new beast subgroups. Don't expect everyone to reformat. Also, How does reformatting everyone into beasts tie in with how they're robots in disguise? They won't be going out often.
Even if Prime turns to Primal, they don't need to come up with original alts, silly.
And the animation style is CGI. Not anime or "3D."

The only thing I'd like would be to sack Kurtzman and Orci as writers. When Gaia Unicorn turned out to actually be the Earth that was it for me. What a load of rubbish. I don't mind the designs etc of Prime, but the writing/storyline is terrible just like everything else they touch.
