So I emailed them and asked why my stuff haven't been shipped yet and two hours later I get an email saying they have been shipped!
So I check the tracking number and

Anyone else get the same thing
Also where do they ship from?

I'd check the tracking number in a few hours. It may just not have been entered into the system yet.

On my issue, I was actually on the phone with customer service (on hold while typing this). So, I initially called HTS and they said because it was a manufacturer's defect I'd have to contact Hasbro directly. When I talked to them, the standard is to have them pay for shipping back to them, confirm the defect, then ship me a replacement or a product of equivalent value, which could take up to 3 weeks. Well, this is almost certainly to go out of stock in that time. Long story short, after going back and forth with Hasbro and HTS, and two agents talking to their supervisors, HTS is taking care of me. I just have to purchase another one from the site (done! which might mean multiples can now be ordered... ) and they will send me the return label. I'll breathe easy when the new product reaches me, but I might be good now. Whew!

I might knock off a pound or two for packaging. After all, he comes inside of a box inside of a slip cover inside of a box which is inside of a box.

I'm actually a bit curious now how much the figure itself does weigh, exactly. If this curiosity lasts long enough to still be on my mind when I get home from work later today, maybe I'll see if I have a scale around anywhere to use.

I also ordered on the 9th (Soundwave and Fort Max), and I still don't have anything more than a confirmation email. I emailed HTS customer service about 24 hours ago and still haven't heard anything back. A little worrying!

With regards to weight, Metroplex weighed 8 pounds I believe, so Fort Max should be right around there

First, I have to compliment both HTS and Hasbro Corporate customer service. They went above and beyond, in my opinion, to make sure I was able to get the exclusive set and replace my defective units. They get my thanks and approval.

I do have a question for those of you that have both versions of Sentinel. All other defects were not present in my replacement set, except the backward Titan Master head slot. Can any of you confirm that the titan master slot is 180 degrees off from either version? I'm more curious that anything. I will likely just turn the Titan Master head around when installing, but it is a bit loose. Here's a pic:


This is the SDCC Sentinel. If you can see the tab in the bottom center, that tab should be in the top center. It is in the top center on my standard release Sentinel.

Ag, my SDCC looks just like yours. I don't have the regular release, but I'm not having any problems with the head connection. Is that little tab supposed to go into the slot in the back of the TM's head?
I can't see if it actually does of course, because I can't see inside there once the head is connected.

That little tab was more of an easily seen indication on which orientation the slot is assembled. What is actually more important is the position of the tabs on the side. In my pic, the narrower part (on the bottom, or back of the bot) is where the tabs that go into the slots on the sides of the Titan Master little head. By being assembled backward, those tabs have extra stress on them in my SDCC Sentinel and are actually more warn down. On the standard release, they are correctly assembled with the narrower part forward.

But, at any rate, thanks for the confirmation! I am guessing this is a widespread misassembly...

I now see exactly what you are talking about, and realized while inspecting him that the TM's head is turned around. I didn't turn it on purpose, and it could have even been my 2-yr-old's doing while she and were playing together. She really likes "Rocket Ship Man"!
Anyway, looks like it is a QC fumble. At least the solution is as simple as spinning that head 180.
Also, glad you had a good CS experience with Hasbro.

Just an update, I got shipping notifications at 1:30 and 2:30 AM on Wednesday, and the robots arrived today. Whew! A bit of a worry, but all's well in the end. Haven't opened Max yet, but tablet Soundwave is a ton of fun!
