Head down to the 5th post for the start of Bumble the Elf!!

I have for you to view today my CUSTOM SCRATCH BUILD Santa costume for MP-10 (hasbro). Everything is removable so the figure would not be damaged in any way. I also made Rudolph the Red Nosed Roller, Santamus Prime's Sleighler, and a bag of Energon for all the good little bots and girls.

Here's the costume for Optimus as I built it...

First Step was making the Hat for Prime. I took felt and rolled it into a cone then hot glued it together. I then took pipe cleaners and wrapped them around the base of the hat and glued a fuzzy ball to the end of the hat. Finally, I glued the hat so that it falls to the side instead of sticking straight up.

Next, I needed a suit for Santamus. I was unsure how to do a coat and have him able to wear it and also remove it so I went sleeveless. I cut a piece of felt roughly how I wanted the coat to be and cut out the arm holes and made sure it fit. I then realized, "why don't I make sleeves that just slide over the forearms?" so that's exactly what I did. Same thing just cut the felt to size, glued it, then added pipe cleaners.

After I made the sleeves, I worked on the coat. I had to trim it to get it to look like I wanted it. It could be better but seeing as I've never done anything like this, i'd say it works. Once I got the coat trimmed how I wanted, I glued on all the pipe cleaners to make it look more like a Santa Coat. Finally, I cut a thin piece of black felt to make a makeshift belt. I may change it later on but for now I like it how it is.

Now what is Santa without some Reindeer? I got the idea of using Roller as the reindeer just because Rudolph the Red Nosed Roller flows haha. That and the fact that he can also tow the trailer (you'll see why later). I took some blue pipe cleaner and made a frame that wraps around roller then glued a red fuzzy ball on it. I then made another frame and took some red pipe cleaners (sadly I didn't have brown =/ ) and made antlers and attached them to the frame. This way, they all attach snugly but are still able to come off

The main reason I used Roller as Rudolph is so that he can pull Santamus Prime's "Sleigh"ler. I took some construction paper and roughly drew an outline of the sleigh and the skids on the bottom of the sleigh. Just had to cut those out and tape them together. I then just took some cheap scotch tape and made a loop and stuck the pieces to the trailer but they are still removable. I haven't added much detail to the Sleighler but idk If I want to right now. Rudolph the Red Nosed Roller can now pull the Sleighler

I took a big piece of felt and glued the sides together. Just had to flip that inside out and stuff it with news paper and BAM, Instant Santa bag. Who better to pull the bag around then Santamus Prime's "little helper." I love the pose making him look like he is struggling to pull the bag. I may make a simple costume for Bumblebee but idk yet. Stick all the things I made together and it's like instant Christmas on Cybertron.

I hope you all like what I made. It took me about 3 hours to do all of this but I love it!!
Just a few questions for you all...
-I thought about making a Christmas Tree and topping it with the Matrix of Leadership...do you think it would look good?
-Finally, Should I attempt to make an elf costume for Bumblebee??

Even though it is still November, therefore way too early to consider Christmas, this is amazing. Nicely done! :APPLAUSE:

I figured I'd do it early so that way it's actually done by Christmas as I'm always a procrastinator.

My work so far on Bumble the Elf =D. The sleeves just slide on the same way Prime's do. As for the boots, I took the felt and figured out how much I needed to wrap around the front and sides of the feet. I then took a pipe cleaner and glued it inside the boot that way it can keep its form better. I left part of the pipe cleaner hanging off the ends which wrap around the back of the feet to hold them in place.
