ok guys lets start the 10 with a good old game of hwo is the best killer. I got all next week off so I propose something like a 2 day max all kills count scored as kill 1 point kill a lvl above 2 points,
increased by lvl at a 1 point increment or we could do a longer run. and make it by missions like a tounie but say ending in 3,6 and 9. Just let me know how you all wanna die, For a bit of the bravado the bots got numbers but i feel the cons are the best killer. So cons don't let me down and bots feel free to try and relocate my foot to my mouth.

I'm for it , but like I said lets start with something simple get people back into things just kill or be killed.

something like your own level = 1 pt one above (like you said) +2 two above even +3 we could even do one below - 1, to help keep those who play like 24/7 in check.

If you want a little neutral zone, bar scene popped into my mind for a bit of a story to with it.

Yeah a point system sounds best and like the idea of a penalty for kills on lower lvlsrather that is fully feasible though not sure. Granted there are mission there the high end too fight but how many are there too fight. the Bar idea for a little backstory is great too if you got a short header in mind PM me it. Other then that we still need more participants right now I got you and Red, Maybe move this to GD more optics seem there with the new missions and such.

What's to stop people from just not posting the higher level kills? It also seems like a rather pointless contest for the higher players who are also the most regular players to compete in, since there's not as many 4s or 5s as there are 2s and 3s, never mind the 0s and 1s, since the higher level players will mostly be getting negative points for their kills, if they bother posting them all.

That would be why I said I didn't like the handicapper scoring, the number of players in the upper level is to narrow. Now I know from past experience that lvl 1's can compete in a scalphunt and run with big dogs. It's just really hard so yeah I'm all for giving a extra points to say a lvl 1 who snags a lvl 3 sorry if that means guys like ROS with 5's can't get bouns points but hey he'd be in the top 5 I'm sure.

None the less this seems a bit mute as we got no real disscusion going only a few said they would be happy to play. I suppose it could still happen but not before I return to work on monday morning.

Before you point out that I said I do like the penalty system *I like the idea of it but it is not feasible because of the number of players in the high end brackets*

Taking out higher levels has almost always been rewarded in scalp hunts. That was introduced to offset the fact that those who were a higher level, almost always played more. If you're looking for a scoring system, you could always go with the 1 for lower, 2 for same, 3 for higher. It's simple and not much of a headache. If you want to give the lower guys a chance, a 1, 3, 5 system would probably be the best bet. It's simple, and it's a better reward for taking down higher levels.

Other scoring methods could be 1 point for a 0, 2 for a 1, 3 for a 2 and so on. It doesn't favor the low end guys, and instead favors the high end.

Or, for a headache while tallying the score, sliding scores, where your level is worth X, and each level below you is worth 1 point less per level, or a fractional point per level. I wouldn't honestly recommend the last 3, since they would be a pain in the ass to tally or just unfair.

I wasn't going to quote you and say you said anything. An idea was mentioned, I thought it was a bad idea, I said why I thought so.

I would offer to post something in Iacon about this, but since I'm currently a prisoner of the cons pending my brainwashing being completed, I'd recommend Zordon or EP.
