So Masterpiece Thundercracker is the new mold, but comes with the old stand and accessories. So, where do you use the missile pods? If you plug them into the wings than the null rays will just be dangling off the bottom of the plane.

You might be in the minority, but you're not alone. If they must be repaints, I couldn't have thought of a better place for them. Sure straight repaints of them would've been bad, but head remolds, and new weapons on top of that? Perfect!

I'll be honest. I never read a Wreckers comic yet. I barely know who these guys are, and never even heard of Whirl(as a G1 char) and Impactor till last year. I had the G1 toys of Topspin and Roadbuster though. Regardless, I couldn't be happier with the mold choices. I'm already a hueg fan of the FoC Bruticus mold set, and I love remolds of this nature.

If I had to nitpick about something(couldn't call myself a fanboy if I couldn't!), I'd want the combined form to have a more appropriate name, rather than stolen from a RiD character. But honestly, the positives completely outshadow it.

Amazing set of remolds.

I feel like a lot more exciting news is coming from SDCC than from Botcon.

MP Thundercracker: Nice, but I don't care about it.

G2 Bruticus: If my friend can't get the game-accurate one from SDCC, I'll get the G2 version.

GDO: Still looking for Swerve and Springer.

Dark Energon: Meh. No.

Entire FOC line: FOC YES. I'll rarely combine the Wreckers (as they should've done Rotorstorm because he came up with the whole damn idea), but I like them individually. Blaster, Grimlock, and the cassette-disks are yes, though I would've liked Graphy or Raindance in place of Sunder, as Sunder is usually a 'Con.

Yeah, poor Rotorstorm never gets any love! Give the comedic relief some love, Hasbro! Everything here looks amazing, I want SO BADLY to see more of Grimmy!!

Also, being the curious li'l fanboy I am, I'm wondering if Twintwist's dual drill weapon can replace the cannons on his back. They're of similar size, at least, and I don't see a way for the drills to store easily in vehicle mode...

that's the way it's been going for a while.

sdcc has more companies there.. it's a bigger event.. more important people.. more news outlets..etc.

same with toy fair.. both of those conventions (toy fair/sdcc) usually reveal more than botcon.

Maybe I'm growing old, but I'm losing more and more interest in the toylines. The more figures and repaints I see the less I'm interested. With that said tho, there is still a place in my heart for G1-ish Dinobots and Insecticons. I was hoping to see Bombshell and Shrapnel molds.

Ah well, at least MP TC wasn't canceled like UK's. I'm a little disappointed to see a black nose on TC, I was hoping to see it blue as I recall from the show. I think as they are trying to make MPs representative of the cartoon, I may go MP exclusive.

Hopefully they'll bring out MP Sunstreaker next year and eventually release a TRU Exclusive of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker sold together for $100 or so!

Here's to fingers crossed...

First of all, thank you to Seibertron for keeping us all very well updated on all of the TF related SDCC action! It's the second best thing to actually being there!

That being, I love the Grimlock! He's even better than I had hoped!

Blaster looks very appealing and would look great across from Soundwave with all their minions in tow.

However, still no word on voyager Breakdown?!! I'm really worried he'll never see a US release! I'm thinking I should pull the trigger and import the Takara version before they're sold out. Does anyone think that this is something that could be announced next year for an even later release? Or does that not make any sense at all?

Overall I'm pretty impressed. I kept my expectations minimal and they were exceeded. If we had gotten all 5 dinobots I think my mind would have exploded.
I am excited that they will be tied into the comics and that they might make an appearance in season 3 of TF Prime, but I'm not hopeful we'd get another Grimlock so soon. I would love to be wrong though!

OMG.....GRIMLOCK....was hoping he was coming as soon as I heard Soundwave was gonna be a Voyager. Uber Excited. :KREMZEEK:

Also excited about the Tape Legends figures. Great addon for Soundwave and the New Blaster.

Also extremely happy that the First Editions (Which I think had better versions of Bulkhead and Prime Anyways) are coming. Was kinda worried when Hasbro said "They'd come in some form" that we'd get real Crappy reapints. Like a Dark Prime and a Camo Bulkhead.

Happy that we are getting the Generation repaints. Will Pick Up Wheelie (Love the slingshot weapon), Springer, Cliffjumper (for the FE Mold), and Powerdive and Hot Spot (which were hard to find molds). Not Excited about the G2 Megs, might get him to go with the G2 Prime Deluxe though.

Eh on the Dark Energon figs, unless Starscream looks like Skywarp.....

Basically, As long as nothing gets cancelled between now and Spring 2013 (and the word doesn't get destroyed in December), looks like the next year will be expensive.

Personally, Grimlock and MP Thundercracker are the two big reveals for me. Grimlock looks awesome. And I'm pleased with the paint apps on TC. Good to see that those of us who also wanted the exclusive Generation repaints will be able to be pick them up domestically instead of importing. Hotspot also looks the business.

yeah i really need a que and leadfoot! i have a soundwave and is that jet wing prime for US release??

I doubt Jet Wing will make it over here to the US. If he does I'm sure there will be some happy people. I'd rather see Striker Optimus Prime make is over here but that too is unlikely.

I'm not overly fond of the Wreckers combining, but that the Wreckers become Ruination I think is an awesome bit of nostalgia word-play.

Combaticons remolded/repainted into Wreckers
Impactor (Onslaught), Twintwist (Brawl), Topspin (Blast Off), Roadbuster (Swindle), and Whirl (Vortex)
Wreckers combine into Ruination
Generations Legends Eject, Ramhorn, Rewind, and Sundor
Blaster remold from Soundwave, comes with Steeljaw, will have out at booth
VOYAGER GRIMLOCK!!!

Roadbuster = Onslaught and Impactor = Swindle?

FoC Sideswipe looks pretty sweet.

Did they ACTUALLY ANNOUNCE that the Asian Exclusive figures are coming to the US, or were they just showing them as part of the slideshow about the brand?

Oh, wait. I get it. Wreckers are in Ruination colors. DUH! Why didn't I think of that sooner.

Roadbuster = Rollbar
Whirl = Rotor
Twintwist = Armorhide
Topspin = Movor
And Impactor /= Mega-Octane?

It kinda works

About 1/2 this stuff excites me, but the rest is skip-city.

The Runiation repaint really bores me and the Blaster remold just isn't inspiring me either.

Grimlock, half the dark energon set and many of the Asia exclusives (can they still call them that? will they be through the club?) will be must-buy for me.
