It wasn't at BotCon ... this is the first time it has been on display for the public to photograph.

Yes! Pics of Ratbat & Frenzy. They look awesome.

Ravage still looks like a coffee table.

Sure was.

Seems like Hasbro don't want a diverse amount of characters any more...

He's right this figure was shown during the presentation at BotCon and referred to as Fireflight. Guess they changed their mind.

It was in their panel if I recall correctly, but no pics allowed and no prototype or product on display.

It amazes me how crap the Jazz mold looks as Jazz yet how awesome the Jazz mold looks as Sideswipe.

Red paint changes everything I guess :P.

Those release dates are so odd. Three guys now, the Combaticons three months later, and a bunch more three months after that.

Also, Ratbat and Frenzy = $9.99, while Ravage and Rumble = $1.99? Huh?

Breakdown might not even BE in FoC, let alone have a toy.

(though is Magnus or Fireflight in FoC? Hmmm)

I noticed the same thing about the release dates.

I wonder if the dates are the way they are because, dare I say, the Dinotbots will have a surprise early release or will be sprinkled throughout?

I can't see how they not do them, especially if they are doing the Insecticons, who IMO the toy designs don't even look as cool and aren't they just generic enemies in the game anyways?

I can't see how it is a good idea to wait too long to release these video game toys, they need to strike while the iron is hot in the Fall, right after the release date of the game.

1. Jesus, is Hasbro unable to transform Bruticus correctly or something? I mean, FAWK! They got Kickback (who looks more complex) right, but not him?! :-x

2. Little sad about the name change for Air Raid, as I wanted a murderous Fireflight. still a buy, though.

3. Magnus is still awesome, especially since he also has a gun.

4. Soundblaster is definite. Cassettes-disks too, though they are a little lame.

5. Sideswipe's faces a little...chiseled, but I'm still getting him.

6. Kickback and Starscream are cool, though they're maybes for me.

Fireflight's been renamed "Air Raid"? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I liked WFC Air Raid! Why they have to go and do this, giving him the look of someone lese in toy form?! :BANG_HEAD:

Kickback isn't that detailed. The sculpt might be, but there really isn't as many moving parts on that mold as his details would suggest. Look closely and you can even figure his transformation out. =3

Though that don't excuse the excessive Bruticus mistransformations. Seems like there's more every time they display him. Sigh.

Only Kickback and Starscream managed to impress me.

Soundwave...I'm saving up for the MP version. My need for a Cybertronian version has been well sated by his WFC Generations deluxe toy.

Before I saw the alt mode, I was like "Yah Air Raid possible Superion?" After seeing the Alt mode I'm all boooo... Air Raid's head looks like it belongs to a Con.

That was after BotCon through the Transformers Facebook page. This is the first time the figure has been seen in person and the first time it's been at an event where I could photograph it for you guys.

Tomorrow is the BIG Hasbro panel. Expect more fun tomorrow. This was just the stuff that was out for preview night. Think of tomorrow like the typical Saturday of BotCon for news.

^Sounds exciting. Praying to Primus for Breakdown! What the heck, I'll pray for Arms Microns in the US too! And Dinobots! I don't feel like praying for First Edition mass-release will help anymore. :BANG_HEAD:

My reactions:

Sideswipe: Great, better than Jazz. Definite buy.
Air Raid: Fireraid? Airflight? Who are you??? Eh, he's decent.
Magnus: A gun! I have no gripes about him now!... Except for his hollow arms.
Kickback: Looks strange, but not bad.
Starscream: I like him. Hopefully he means Seekers!
Combaticons: NEON.
Bruticus: ... ...What the f***?!
Soundblaster: Not bad. Looks like he has an abnormally thick torso, now that I look closer.
Casse-Minic-deploy-DataDisk Minions?: What do you call these? Anyways, Rectangle > Circle. 'Nuff said.
Soundwave: See Soundblaster, except in blue.

Indeed. We're all crossing our fingers, praying, and every other irrational superstition possible in anticipation for the big stuff(Dinobots, Voyager Optimus/Megatron, more Seekers, etc)

I'm just hoping for more combiners. G1, FoC, Prime... hell, even new domestic PCCs would please me(*runs to the bomb shelter for peer backlash for that last one*)

Let me get this straight - there are 3 color variations for FOC Bruticus, the SDCC G2 version, the Amazon exclusive G2 version, & a G1 version?
