I edited the title and stickied it.. I was going to wait until things were a little more stable before I made the thread. You saved me the time.

I have a problem. I'm not getting any Topic Reply Notifications, even though replies are being posted in topics that I am watching. Strange...

I recently changed my name here. But when I entered it on a other computer than my own it wouldn't register. Nor when I try to edit my profile.

Just so you guys know, I have to log into the forums seperately from the member login on my home computer. I don't have this problem on my work computer, so it may be my computer. I just want you guys to be aware of this.

That one isn't just you. Thee avatars not being seen is not a result of the crash. It has been that way for a little while before the crash as part of the site that Ryan was trying to improve on originally.

Check your settings to make sure it's still turned on. Mine had also been switched off by itself.

Not that I'm complaining, but why do I still have so many posts? After going back & looking at my posts, I noticed that I only have what I've actually posted in the last few days after the forums crashed. I asume this is the same for everyone......other than that, PM's still aren't working........

Wow, I'm a total dumbass. I just re-activated it. Thanks for the help!

Like Stormrider said, it takes two attempts to log-in. Even if I'm logged into the forum, it asks me to log in again if I try to edit my profile or visit the creative section. When i sign in, it clears the boxes and I have to sign in a 2nd time before I get where I need to be.

Not really a problem, more of a suggestion really, but have you considered adding a wild card character to the memberlist search feature?

Coupla updates:

The 'logging in twice' thing is because the forum login and the site login aren't properly synched up yet. They're two different things. Editing your profile requires you to be logged into the site, whether you're logged in to the forum or not.

Working on sigs atm. Hoping to have them fixed today or tomorrow.

I'm still looking for all the accounts that didn't transfer from the old system. Stormrider, do you want me to restore your old account or are you happy with the one you've got now?

Memberlist wildcards... pass, I'll leave that one for Ryan.

Ever time I go to edit my profile to try and fix my sig I'm asked to log in and when I do I'm taken back to the profile log in page.

I'm having a similar said problem with the sightings section after I try to submit a sighting. It takes me to the profile login page.

Any thoughts on why while logged in I go to add a caption at UCC, and it sends me to the log in, then when I log in (yet again) it takes me to my profile.

I then go back to the main page, and back to UCC, and bango same thing again?

I noticed a similar event when I tried to access the Ultimate Caption page.

I can't post any Captions, either. Every time I click on the Add Your Caption link, it asks me log in and brings me back to my profile page.

A HMW player reported that he wasn't able to log out, so I tested it myself and found the same thing. The HMW and forum 'log out' links redirect to the profile page, but the 'Log out' link there just reloads the page (via a redirect to logout.php) without actually logging the user out.

"Hide Profile while Online" seems to work in reverse.

So I come back to the forums after a few hours and new posts aren't showing as new posts. Just all read.

I have the same problem.

Also, I've shut my computer off twice today and I'm still logged in. Is there a way to disable that?
