Have you done a scan of your computer? Because that's always a possibility that it's on your end.

Just did a scan and nothing came up. Got redirected while typing this too.

What kind of malicious sites? I'm using FireFox 49.0.1, and every once in a while, I get forcefully redirected to a fake FireFox Update site, with an automatic Javascript download. Not just here, but it seems any site I visit is fair game.

Also, I've manually blocked these from running on the site (for speed reasons):

- Adobe Flash
- Java
- RealPlayer & RealTimes
- Shockwave
- Silverlight

A fake TWC survey site and a fake Google Chrome update site. I've not experience it on any other sites, but this is also one of the few sites I have my adblocker disabled on and I hope that doesn't have anything to do with it.

Huh, same things as I have, only with FireFox. One little development however: a couple times when that was triggered, my anti-virus triggered as well. Must be nothing more than a stubborn piece of malware as it can be removed, but not disinfected.

Better turn on the adblocker again...

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not yet, but the faction choices aren't working. I'm trying to change back to "Rubsign", but every time I save it, it gives me an error message saying "The field 'Allegiance' must be completed".

Figured. Otherwise, it would have been announced.

That square ad that runs on the top right side of every page is torture on every browser I've used. It repeatedly makes the browser lock up for a second or two, can cause lag on my second monitor when I'm watching videos (YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, etc.), and does crazy things when I'm posting like take my cursor off of the text field or make the browser scroll. Happens most often when the ad box is playing a video. I can tell this ad is the source of the problem because it usually happens when it's changing from ad to ad.

The current ad is https://cdn.kdn.cloud/AMZ/short/novembe ... 00x250.mp4 and it only froze the browser for a second when it first loaded. It's the one that cycles through multiple ads that are torture to post during, have to keep hitting the preview button to reload the page until I find an ad that doesn't give me trouble.

Still having a lot of trouble with these video ads, they make this place almost impossible to visit sometimes and that's becoming more and more frequent. Hate to run ad blocker since I know that's a big money maker for Seibertron, but things are getting quite frustrating now. And it isn't just when I post anymore; just browsing the front page can be a real chore lately.

Also yesterday I got a video add in the small banner space below the Seibertron logo complete with audio. :BANG_HEAD:

What browser are you using? If you're using Firefox, you may be able to circumvent the problem by disabling some of the plugins used.

On any page of the site, right click, then select "View Page Info", then go to the "Permissions" Tab. From there you can block plugins from loading for the site. By standard I have these blocked:

- Abode Flash
- Shockwave
- Java
- RealPlayer
- Silverlight

At least the blocking Flash plugin that the videos use should improve the loading time.

I leave my adblock off for Youtube and many other sites. Unfortunately, I MUST let it open for Seibertron because the adds are ridiculously intruisives.

A shame, really.

I think I found a workaround that temporarily fixes the problem. The AdChoices ads that appear in the same ad space don't cause the same problems as the video ads. So if I occasionally click on them they appear more often and I can get around here without a bunch of stuttering and freezing.

BTW, I use Chrome.

It's not just in Kup's gallery sadly. The issue is in numerous others I've noticed as well where it only loads half the image and the rest is grey. Looks like some stuff got corrupted when the site went down last.

Ryan is now working on this. Will let you guys know when it's done, then if you find more, let us know.

The corrupt images are from my backup of the site last fall. It was the largest single backup I had ever made of seibertron.com, but unfortunately I didn't know that the images were corrupt at the time. The hard drive failing, which caused the corrupt files, finally failed in March 2016. I used that server backup though as a beginning point from the incident that happened a month ago. I've been slowly replacing corrupt images as they've been found over the past month, but decided to write a script today that will actually seek out the corrupt images in the galleries. I've spent the past 4.5 hours going through G1 through Beast Wars. Fortunately, this is forcing me to get all of my images in one stored location instead of on various external hard drives and CDs. Will keep you guys posted. If there's a corrupt image you would like to see fixed right away, please let me know so that I can move that series up the list. Thanks!

Working on Transformers Cybertron right now ... re-uploading from a known good source, then re-running the script to see if anything was missed and will proceed as needed at that point.
