Spent the last 2 hours tracking down the BotCon 2010 images. Finally found them after about an hour or so of going through all of these various backup drives and CDs/DVDs. Working on getting them into a few different places at the moment so that they are backed up on the external drives as well as the DVDs. Hope to have all of the BotCon images backed up for the most part in the next hour once everything is copied over from these DVDs.

Say, will all this affect any of the preexisting gallery image URLs? Like, for any that have already been posted in the forums as part of discussions? Will those all suddenly become broken images or should they be unaffected?

BotCon galleries in the Convention and Club Exclusives have all been restored. Will tackle the convention and Club exclusives later.

100% unaffected. As you guys can imagine, these images are stored on a slew of DVDs from the past 12 years as well as 3 or 4 different hard drives. It's just a matter of pulling all of the resources together, which I'm working through at the moment. Hard drives have become so cheap in the past few years that it's now feasible to have the entire website finally backed up on hard drives.

Restoring the original images, nothing will change with the code or URLs. Just a matter of finding all of the images out of the over million images that comprise the galleries with full size, medium sized and thumbnail sized images.

This may be a little out of place but once you finish compiling your resources in one place, could you post a screenshot of the storage location's capacity and used space? I'm interested in seeing how much data the galleries take up.

Apparently there wasn't a problem with the Movie 2007 images, which seems a little odd to me, so let me know if you guys find anything.

Seibertron.com as a whole takes up about 400gb to 450gb, most of which are the images in the toy galleries, followed by the images in the event galleries and so on.

Will be happy to get a good number if possible at some point in the future.

No problems with Beast Wars Telemocha series or Micro Change.

It seems a little odd that the newer galleries didn't have as much corruption. I wonder if that's because I have a better system now of backing up files than I did back in 2005, including replication on multiple discs and drives? Hoping that this pattern continues until the end.

G1 1993 is OK as well as the galleries in the RPM series, Device Label series, Beast Wars Reborn (found some missing images in those galleries), and Revoltech.
