The funnier aspect is the way the media is reporting this. These guys were caught red-handed, in their warehouse, surrounded by boxes and crates full of counterfeit parts, some figures in pieces, some partly assembled, some fully assembled, some packaged, boxed and ready to ship. They had computers with their pilfered specs loaded and on the screens. They were practically wearing T-shirts and ball caps that said "WE ARE COUNTERFEITERS" on them.

But the media is still reporting them as "alleged" or "suspected" counterfeiters. What does it take to get the media to call a spade a spade?

Obvious legality. The media CANNOT call them "guilty" out loud until the trial is set and done and a guilty judgement is already made. It's supposed to be common knowledge.

However, by showing everything and telling all the names, the media already passed their "guilty" judgement in the mind of the population. It's an attitude that can ruin lives when someone innocent is named as the guilty party even when found innocent at the end of the trial. The victim could then sue the media to oblivion for defamation.

i dont know those supposed G1 reissues that were never made officially like shockwave or the dinobots i would think that they would go after them too
i happened to get to see in person the shockwave and the quality is really good with the metal and sounds its almost like the real deal
but i didnt have an original to compare it with

When buying G1, I want to have the REAL deal. Even if they are reissue.

Also, the quality is poor. Got both my "grimlock" and "shockwave" breaking on me after barely playing with them. They were also really expensive each. I got scammed hard.

Darn. I was hoping they’d knockoff the Pinch/Counterpunch figure, but add correct guns and lose the POTP hand and Titan Master.

My dinobots were pretty good quality wise, I'd rather have real g1 reissues any day of the week. I knew they were kos before buying them and the seller even reduced them as he didn't know they were kos. Was kind of hoping with the effort that went it to remolding the official soundwave tape compartment hasbro would get off their butt's and remake popular characters molds if need be. No way they wouldn't make money from Dinobot reissues and all the color variants possible. The Takara collection/encores got stale when they kept reissuing the same reissues and still do with the Walmart stuff.

Yes, Hasbro was going to be setting up some production lines in India but not for Transformers, which is remaining in Vietnam for the moment.

Thank god, everything that they're producing in india right now looks and feels so cheap, the packaging is awful and it just has an air of low effort about it

I paid over 60$CAN for my Grimlock. On the 5th transformation, he literally snapped in half. Some years later, I bought a genuine G1 Grimlock and I gave him the KO weapons. For some reasons, I don't mind KO weapons and accessories of G1. We all know why.

As for why HASTAK cannot reissue the Dinobots is because the molds have been lost for years now. They should do what the KO companies did. Reverse engineer the G1 Dinos and create new molds from scratchs. It would cost a fortune and I'm not sure if they could make a profit back. The recent Walmart reissues were from existing molds. But brand new molds for a somewhat limited market? for 5 characters? The costs must outweigh the benefits because they would already been made.

??? If you are referring to the Amazon Exclusive, it didn't have a TM head. It came with an exclusive Prime Master, but that's not essential. Additionally yeah it was pointless to have the PotP hand as it was not a combiner limb making it the outlier of that line.

Actually he did come with potp hand (some fans turned it into a jet pack and used it to better hide the punch body when in counterpunch mode. It also cane with Prima Prime Prime Master.

Yeah I forgot that because it was pointless, but corrected myself.

It made a pretty cool jetpack though and as I say was used to further Disguise counterpunch when ever he turned around, otherwise he'd have cons shooting him in the back all the time

If it's MP and self destructs -Official

If it's MP and has More Features -KO

If it's MP and has speeling mistakes -KO

If it's MP and has law avoiding stickers- Either

If it's G1 and Hasbro or Takara havent already released a reissue of it -KO

If it's G1, Boxed, cheap and available from multiple sellers brand new -KO

If it's SS and has figure issues fixed or better scaling- KO

If it's G1, MP or SS, if you lick them and don't die with in a week -Official

I'm totally cool with what happened. It's not their IP, it's theft. End of story.

And yes I'm a 0,0something % hypocrite for owning 2 3rd party TF's (Fall of Cybertron Megatron and War for Cybertron bigger Onslaught which I not even transformed once, I don't like the frailty and complexity of third parties I realized). And I have 6 KO Voyager sized RID Green Grimlock (for my green Grimlock Army) and 3 Combiner Wars Rook's in dark blue because it's a fun mold and a great generic soldier.

Howeverrrrrrr, I have a mega ton of HASTAK transformers and loving it! Seen almost every show, have all the movies on disc, almost all the games. I fully support and love HASTAK for all the stuff they made Combiner Wars and up.

So yeah, take 'm out of business. Have them make their own series of changing robots, have them design their own characters, lore and toys. Have them follow laws of safety and don't live of the fanbase somebody else made, bunch of freeloaders.

Well, this sucks. I was planning on getting more of their figures,but I guess hornet warrior(oversized Mmp-03 Bumblebee) will be my only one.I had received him around new years, and dang, they have real good quality,so this really sucks.
