This is worth repeating ad nauseum.

Ok, yes it can happens that some toys became rare for one or other reason, that sometimes there's store exclusives that are popular etc.. but these are very specific cases, not even all gifsets/store exclusive get high demand, some just shelfwarm.
So picking a random transformer in the toy aisle? I don't get it.

I think we sometimes get lucky. I picked up the Universe Nemesis Prime (black mammoth) on clearance for like 10 bucks, because it was so cheap and I thought it might go in my Beast Wars display. But, I got lazy and never opened him. Currently he is going for between $89 and $265 on Ebay unopened.

EDIT: wtf my spelling on this post was terrible i don't even know how I skipped over it lmao

If you're just going to leave it sealed, better to just leave it in the store so some kid can buy it and have a good time with it. IMO anyway. Ultimately it's your money, your property, your decision. But you asked.
ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:I agree with this. Reading it would probably give MISB elitists (the kind of people who collect and refuse to open expensive imports with windowless boxes) an aneurysm though XD.
ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:so based on the prices I've seen for the Classics/Universe Deluxe Autobots and Seekers you can mark it up to $30 no problem.
