Welcome to the General Discussion area where just about anything goes! This area is designed to discuss all matters and does not necessarily have to be Transformers related. Please keep topics relevant.

So I ate dinner with Britney Spears last night.

Not really. But she was sitting 2 tables away from me in a restaurant last night. She was with 2 of her friends and a body guard that looked like Odd-Job from James Bond. She was wearing a hat and normal looking hair, none of those crazy blonde blonde wigs. The restaurant was great, but after drinks and everything I could have bought a Grand Maximus, but it was fun!

I thought that this was some sort of sick April Fools joke. It's till sick anyway. Kind of an akward thing to say, and I would congratulate you, or be jealous, but I'm not. So, yeah. Weird.

No congratulations really neccesary, I just thought it was kind of cool to see her at one of these restaurant clubs they always say she goes to. Then again, I guess it's not that incredible since she is there like every weekend.

Got a story for ya. My brother-in-law does a lot of concert work so he hits some good restaurants in hollywood. One time, his boss and him noticed tons of paparazzi at the windows but they couldn't see anyone they recognized. They asked a girl at the next table...

"Excuse me, but who are all those camera guys after?"
"Do you know who Paris Hilton is?"
"She's here? Where?"

The girl they asked looked at them with pure contempt, gave a loud "Hmmph" sound, and turned back to her table to bitch to the guys she was with. Turns out it was Paris and my bro-in-law had apparently insulted her by not recognizing her. Small world.

True. If you give them attention, they get mad, but if you don't they get mad. I also wanted to take a picture, but was afraid I'd get my ass kicked out and that would be embarassing.

I was with my wife, her college friend (very pregnant at the time) and with her sis and her sis' friend at a restaurant inside Neeman Marcus of Beverly Hills. I noticed a birthday cake brought to the table to my left, to a table with 3 ladies. I thought the lady in the middle looked very familiar, then I realized it's Rita Wilson. The woman on her right also looked very familiar.. then after a few more looks turns out she's Sheryl Crow. The last woman I have no idea about. Anyways I told the ladies at my table and they were pretty surprised to say the least. Later Crow even took the escalator right after us.

I was in hollywood on thursday and they were doing a star ceremony on the walk of fame, it was for the producer of law and order i think, but anyways ICE T was there. I almost was going to ask him to take a pic but I wanst sure ice I should call him ICE T or MR. T, because after he is a "MR."

I probably would have gotten kicked out for throwing stuff at her. Britney Spears, that is.

I guess my best celebrity encounter would be having some drinks with Geoff Johns and Brad Meltzer after a con a couple years ago.

I had drinks with Ben Vereen, he was a really cool guy. I also sat next to Sugar Ray Leonard in a bar and he was super cool, he gave me an autographed picture and was just a real nice guy. I also boought ice cream with Jay Leno. Most celebrities are pretty nice.

Poor you! I am not a Spears fan at all. I just don't get into that kind of music or drama that surrounds her. She's just trash with alot of fame and money in my opinion anyway.

Not me, but my History teacher was in the airport. Mind you, he's tall. And who does he come across....but Gary Coleman. He asks to take a picture w/him, & he says no. So, my Histoy teacher asks if he can call him at Cash Call. Gary Coleman flips him off. My whole class laughed when he told us that. I guess he was too embarrassed to take a pic w/a tall person..............Also, the same teacher's brother's girlfriend was on a plane sitting next to Phil Angelides (sp?). She had no idea who he was. So, since she didn't make a big fuss over him, he introduced himself. "Hi, I'm Phil. I'm running for governor" (Or whatever he was running for, I dunno). She's just looks at him like "Good for you" I think he was kinda pissed off...............I don't know why famous people get ticked if you don't recognmize them.......of course I'd recognize Peter Cullen in a second & probably drag him to my house to sign Optimus Prime..........I'm such a nerd...............
