So I started to watch beast wars this week, so far I'm enjoying it, loved the episode were Star Scream posses Waspinator.
The one thing that gripes me is Megatron constantly saying "Yes", I mean COME ON!! its not even a catchy "catchphrase" (no pun intended), who's bright idea was that? Yeah you're suppose to dislike "the bad guy" but this is purely just makes me want to shoot the damn person that wrote his dialogue :BANG_HEAD:

If you don't learn to love it then I don' know what to tell you. BW Megatron is top 3 Megs for me. His various monologues are well scripted/acted that make him a super-evil villain.

To be fair, the OP seems to still be in season 1. It's season 2 that Megs truly begins to shine.

I agree his overall dialogue is great, very self assured and megolomanic personality. Heck I even say "yes" when I'm trying to make a statement .. but like the ancient greeks said "παν μέτρον άριστον" .. everything within reason

Keep watching. Season one hasn't aged well in terms of animation. I re-watched episode one and couldn't make it through the first 12 minutes. :SICK:

Also, I don't like Megatron's yesses either. I'm more partial to the duck and his royalty.

Season two and three had better animation, so I can watch it without cringing.

How is it superficial to want a cartoon to be amply animated, when the foundation of a cartoon is its animation?!
