So it seems that THQ are now offically dead and are no more. On the one hand i am deeply sadend as they did make some good games but on the other hand i just cannot forgive them for Darksiders 2 on the pc and feel that they kinda deserved it for releasing a broken game

For me i got to the stage were you have to get the demon key but when i went into the portal my game crashed and now i can never play the game again as there is no fix for this issue. My save isnt currpoted and i had almost no equipment on me as i knew about that crash so tried to stay clear of it. However THQ let a game be released with over 25 major crashes and for me this just really put me off caring what happened to THQ.

I loved saints row 3....well to a point that you realise how short the game is and how little you can do it in compared to SR2 but it was still a good game. I did love Darksiders 1 and i used to play there wresting games back when i had a ps2.

I kinda feel sad now they are no more but again after how they released Darksiders 2 with all these flaws i just kinda feel like this was a huge reason why they failed. They didnt even release many patches to fix any of the serious issues. I think they released 1 for the -lilith story so far bit- but that was it

THQ? Iused to see that logo before alot of games I played, don't remember wich ones though. Darksiders 1 was the last one I think. However, I don't think that much will be a effected by this, considering they probably moved alot of people around to other companies. Kind of like when Rare was bought by Microsoft, but I really hope it doesnt come down to something like that....

I guess I care, but I'm not all torn up about it. Good games will come and go, ya know?

I think the only major studio that didn't get snatched up under THQ's brand was Vigil which means no more Darksiders unless someone picks up the IP, but even then it still won't be Vigil doing it.

Saints Row and the studio got picked up by the same company that owns the studio that puts out Dead Island.

Metro Last Light is still ongoing, but I forget who grabbed that license. The studio that's developing it wasn't actually owned by THQ I don't think.

There was a WWII strategy game and studio that got picked up as well.

Haven't been a gamer in years, but I do care that they are dead. I know someone that got laid off because of everything.

I'm a pro wrestling fan, and buy the usual WWE roster upgrade. WWE 13 was such a huge improvement over its predecessors that I thought THQ was finally getting it right. It it had a GM mode, I'd probably play WWE 13 alone and never return to earlier titles. Now that Take Two has the license, I'm not sure how they'll change things.

I'm also sad to see Vigil without an owner, as I really liked the Darksiders games. That's an IP with a lot of potential just sitting there, going unused.
