Here's mine:

The shelves are ****, but we're buying a house this year so it's a temporary display solution. It's been like two years since I've gotten to put all this stuff in one place. There are more of these Classics style guys than I remember. >:oP

=P~

Do you do this on purpose? Just rubbing it in what an awesome collection you have? :P

As for Classics, I have exactly 1 Classics figure: Rodimus.

I like that bottom shelf and its random weirdness. A lot. Well done.

I have my Classics Decepticon shelf destroyed so I can re-do it this weekend. Realized this during the deconstruction. Also like that you have Axalon with your Autobots, fits in so well doesn't he? I've had him holding a matrix up for a year or so now.

Mines nowhere near as big, yet probably twice as cluttered. My entire classics collection fills 2 shelves of a barristers bookcase, the tiny a** shelf above it, a plank of wood I jammed between them, and the region of floor between the case and my desk.

Well mine doesn't look anything like yours but here you go...

The three notMenasor figures I've opened so far are elsewhere at the moment.

I only have Classics Voyager Optimus Prime. I suppose could try to take a pic of it, but I'm pretty sure everyone here already knows quite well how he looks.

While not featuring much 3rd party I do however have every classics / henkei / universe / generations / united figure sealed and loose.

Will share pics of my insane collection tomorrow when I get up.

How do you feel about the 3rd party stuff? Do you think it takes away from it all?

Honestly they do not bother me a ton. I prefer Hasbro but I will use some 3rd party as stand ins. I do however replace them with Hasbro / Takara versions as they are released.

I really like the upgrades as they help bring the aesthetic closer to the Classics / Generations especially Crazy Devy Add ons for Devastator , Predaking and Omega Supreme.

Some of the Fansproject and Maketoys stuff also is cool like the Combiners and Trailers. I do display this stuff in my collection but like I said if Hasbro put out proper versions I would update in a Heart Beat.

Here's mine for the moment. I'm in the process of rearranging it, so some of the placements make no sense, and not 100% are present. Third-party has really taken over my Decepticon shelf.

My classics stuff is all in my collections page.

the-sj21-collection-t96905.php

I try to keep my Classics stuff to characters that were in the Us G1 show. I do have some characters not in the show (like if I had them as a kid) but not many.

El Duque now you are inspiring me to buy 3rd Party. Considering I have run out of other stuff to buy I might pick up some of the updated 3rd party combiners.

Do you think they are worth the money?

My collection is not nearly as impressive as some of the others displayed here... But here's what I've got.

Season One Autobots:

Image

I know that Grapple is technically Season Two, but here he's standing in for Hauler.

Season One Decpticons:

Image

Yes, I know there's some bootleg seekers in the above photo, which given my usual vehement anti-bootleg stance may seem hypocritical. Well... yes, yes it is. It was a one-time slip-up in my resolve which I don't intend to repeat, and frankly I was less then impressed with their lack of quality, anyway. But... well... I have 'em, may as well display 'em.

Season Two* Autobots:

Image

Season Two* Decepticons:

Image

* "Season Two" is a bit of a misnomer. It's more like, "Season Two or Things That Don't Fit Elsewhere In My Collection". Also, Octane. Because I wanted to keep the trio of Decepticon Triple-Changers together.

Decepticon Combiners (although, at the moment, not combined) plus Decepticon Legends Class:

Image

Movie/Post-Movie Autobots:

Image

This photo is somewhat bittersweet for me at the moment, as there should be a certain two foot tall city-bot standing, looming behind them. Alas, he arrived damaged and I'm still in the process of working with the retailer to see if anything can be done about replacing him. On the other hand, this photo does also have my newest acquisition, having come across Scoop in a store the other day.

Movie/Post-Movie Decepticons (and Unicron):

Image

Also in the photo, not part of my "Classics" collection, but a few random Hot Rod / Rodimus Prime figures I have, one of which is the Classics Legends Class one...

Other Autobot Legends:

Image

Basically, whatever Legends figures didn't fit elsewhere in my collection.

A Few Mixed In On My Optimus Prime Shelves:

Image

Not really Classics shelves, but a few Classics figures are mixed in, such as the 2006 Deluxe Class Optimus, the RTS G2 Laser Optimus, Generations Orion Pax, and a few Legends Class Optimi.

And finally...

A Random Second Legends Class Megatron,
Menacing a Postcard of Pittsburgh:

Image

I don't usually go for duplicates, but when I got the Reprolabels set, it occurred to me that it had sufficient stickers for two whole figures (in different design schemes -- one geared more towards robot mode, the other more towards his alt mode), and when I shortly after that saw the figure at a discount chain (like Ocean State Job Lot, or some such), I figured, "What the heck?"

As for why he is menacing Pittsburgh, well, I happened to have the postcard after visiting a friend who lives there, and again I figured, "What the heck?"

Good stuff everyone. I still love seeing these toys after all this time.

Speaking of the collection forum, how often do people go there? I would kind of like to see those threads return to the toy discussion area.
