Thanks to the spidey senses of spiderbob007 we are now aware that Hasbro Toy Shop's ebay store is having a 50% off sale on Titans Return Trypticon. More than 98% of their stock has been sold so act quickly if you would like to order one. With good reason too. This figure was originally listed on Hasbro's ebay shop for $149.99 with it being half off it is now $74.99 and has free shipping. Trypticon is currently the largest Transformer figure that Hasbro has ever made. He outclasses the previous largest figure made, which was Metroplex.

If you notice any good sales or deals, please let us know so we can help fellow fans!

There's quite a few other things on sale there, mostly select Deluxe, Legends, and Titan Masters.

And why is free shipping $9.99 through eBay, but $49 on HTS? Seems backwards.

I will never know. I always use the ebay store unless there is a really good sale.

Largest Decepticon figure ever made, sure. But Metroplex is a shade under 2 feet tall, and Fort Max comes in a touch above that, and they're both taller than Tryppy. Unless there's something I'm missing? :???:

Maybe they were going by mass? Ugh. I know I heard this in a video by hasbro ages ago but I can't remember which one.

And I bet not many people that genuinely needed that figure for their collection got one.

How nice! Triggerhappy is only $7.99 but I need Breakaway & he's still full price. Friggin douchebags!

Dunno, he definitely isn't the largest Transformer, even Hasbro's own description is pretty specific about it being the largest Decepticon.

He uses the same amount of plastic, roughly - he's just proportioned differently due to being non-humanoid.

You might recall in the days following his announcement, there were pics of a mock up Trypticon built out of Metroplex parts. They needed to make a POC that approximated how big they could make him given the amount of plastic the Titan price point allows for.

You guys aren't missing anything. They know he isn't the largest TF toy, so they emphasize the fact that he's the largest Decepticon TF toy ever made, which is still true since the only larger toys are all Autobots.\

"Fourth-largest Transformers toy ever" just doesn't have that same impressive ring to it from a marketing standpoint.

Meh, Tryp was a day one purchase for me, heck it was the only Titan I paid full price for. So it's no loss hearing this deal.

But I'll keep my eye's open this time next year when Predaking get's a similar deal, since there's no way I'm paying 150.00 for that set with all it's flaws!

Now through March 11, Hasbro Toy Shop is offering 15% off most action figure purchases with the Promo Code UNPLUG18. Orders over $49 quality for free shipping, so hopefully they get some of their Wave 2 figures in before this sale ends!

It would be nice if they would at least restock Grimlock or the Leaders. I still need to pick up a lot of Wave 1, but I'd like to get to the free shipping threshold.

eBay has a 20% off everything sale going on right now (min $25 purchase, max discount of $100). On top of that, HTS's eBay shop has great deals on titans return stuff. Probably trying to get rid of inventory.

I finally picked up Sky Shadow. It's down to $20 pre-discount. Picked up a few other things to get to the minimum. Basically spent $26 for Sky Shadow, TR Twinferno, and Liege Maximo.
